Overview
We begin your day with a complimentary pickup and transfer from your hotel or the campground at Ayers Rock Resort for your five hour tour.  Because sunrise time changes constantly, our departure time changes every two weeks for optimal viewing.  You will learn how to safely use a segway, then enjoy a light breakfast before beginning the tour of Ayers Rock (also known as Uluru). Along the tour route, you will also see other highlights, including the Mutitjulu Waterhole.  We finish this tour at the segway base where you will be taken to the Ayers Rock Resort. From there you can pick up your transfer to your originating hotel.

What to Expect
Your day trip begins with hotel pickup from your campsite or resort in the vicinity of Ayers Rock (Uluru). After being transferred to the Segway area, receive a comprehensive safety briefing and embark on a practice ride to ensure you feel confident. First, watch the sunrise from the base of Uluru while enjoying a light breakfast accompanied by tea and coffee. Then, set off on a journey around the entire base of the rock. After a loop around Uluru, take a walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole to learn about Aboriginal culture and local flora and fauna. Then it's back to your hotel or camping site.

We are very glad we did this, but I'm not sure if it meant all of our expectations. My husband and I had both had an enjoyable time, but felt the leader wasn't as engaged as we would of preferred. Granted, it was early, but he spent time doing things that we didn't fully

Hi, Thanks for the review. I'm glad to hear you participating in our tour, and enjoyed going the full way around Uluru, it's absolutely amazing isn't it. It's also wonderful to hear that you enjoyed the sunrise, they are so beautiful out here! What a good tip about the fly nets - yes we are happy to help solve that problem for our guests. I am however sorry to hear that you felt your guide wasn't as engaging as you'd hoped. I'll be sure to pass your feedback on to our guides to ensure when they stop to give a commentary that the whole group is in a good location and able to hear their commentary. Thanks for your review and I hope the rest of your time in the Red Centre was just as great. Cheers, From all of us at Uluru Segway Tours.

This was really fun and I loved the Dreamtime stories that were told throughout the tour. It was very cultural and respectful and I would definitely recommend! I did think it was a little expensive, although with the swarms of flies at this time of year and the heat, I don’t
