Had a lovely trip over Uluru and the Olgas . The view from the helicopter was spectacular. Only critism is that the pilot seemed a bit bored. He could have made it a trip,to remember, still worth doing.
Your tour begins with pickup from your Ayers Rock hotel, where you’ll board an air-conditioned minivan destined for the helicopter launching point. On arrival, you’ll receive a short safety briefing from your pilot, put on a headset to listen to commentary, and climb aboard the helicopter.
Depending on the option chosen at checkout, you’ll experience a 15-, 30-, or 36-minute flight over the waterhole at Mutitjulu, Ayers Rock Resort, the surrounding desert, and the stunning scenery of the Red Centre. If you’ve opted for a longer flight, you’ll also get aerial views of The Olgas (Kata Tjuta)—36 dome-shaped rocks—and learn about the spiritual significance of the formation. Your experience concludes with hotel drop-off.
