Overview
See the best of Sydney on a half-day tour that provides first-time visitors with a comprehensive overview of the vibrant city. Explore the Rocks and Chinatown, then gaze upon the Sydney Opera House, Sydney Harbour, and Sydney Harbour Bridge from Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair. Wrap up the morning with a stop at Bondi Beach, or optionally upgrade to include a harbor lunch cruise or Sydney Opera House tour.
What to Expect

After hotel pickup, start your tour with a 30-minute walk around the cobblestone streets of the Rocks, site of Australia’s first European settlement. Learn how Sydney has changed over the centuries, and hear about the Gadigal people—the original Aboriginal inhabitants and landowners of Sydney.

Next travel to Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair and get fabulous photo ops of the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. Continue to Bondi Beach, where you can disembark for views of the Pacific Ocean and a look at the lifeguards who inspired the popular TV show “Bondi Rescue.”

Make another photo stop at Dudley Page Reserve, then go through Chinatown on the way back to downtown Sydney, where your tour ends at King Street Wharf or Circular Quay.

Upgrade to add a buffet lunch cruise on Sydney Harbour or a tour of the Sydney Opera House—both essential experiences for any visit to Sydney.

A great start!

As first time visitors, we couldn't have asked for a better experience, JohnS was our tour guide, well spoken, knew his stuff, answered all the questions, and kept it light an fun, wouldn't have it any other way.

Too much complaining . . .

This would have been much more enjoyable if the guide had spent less time complaining about the high taxes and high cost of living and of having to have his two grown children living with him. I wanted to learn about Sydney, not listen to...More

They do lots of hotel pick ups and it’s best to call the tour company to ask for specifics.
