As you step onto the Island, you will immediately grasp what Island life is all about. You will see horses, local farmers. You will hear Irish (or Gaelic) being spoken by the locals and you will smell the freshest air the Atlantic Ocean can provide. Time to tour the Island by bike! No waiting in line, your guide will have your bike rental taken care of. Your expert guide will show you around the Island. You will experience sunken graveyards, shipwrecks, castles, and much more. After your guided tour, your guide will bring you to a local cafe that has a reservation for you. No waiting in line here either, just walk in and enjoy! You will absolutely love this cafe by the way. Definitely try the scones! After lunch, you can enjoy your free time on the Island. People love to go to the pub for a pint, check out the playground with the kids, or simply chill on the beach! You will meet your guide back at the pier where we will board the ferry en route back to Doolin.

A most excellent day…Phil was the perfect guide
Phil took great care of us from point to point on this tour. His knowledge of Galway, Doolin and the Aran Islands was extensive. He could speak Irish as well so we truly felt we were getting an authentic experience. The van ride was an opportunity to see the breathtaking scenery of the countryside and we were able to take some pictures along the way. Phil knew a great deal about all of the points of interest and the history of the land. The ferry to and from was fun-dress warmly for this. The bike tour was fabulous and once again at each stop Phil was able to give us extensive knowledge of the history, tales and legends of the area. When we were finished the tour we enjoyed the perfect cup of tea and delicious scones with Ulna at her cafe. While we ate we got a wonderful lesson about the history of the early people of the islands as well as their cultures and customs. Ulna’s family has lived in the island for generations and had all the answers to our questions We had time to shop at Aran Swaeter House (authentic shop for Aran sweaters and accessories) and also time for a gorgeous pint of Guiness at ‘Paidraig O Conghaile’ the one and only pub After the ferry back to Doolin we stopped for fish and chips at Fitzs Pub where we were treated most kindly and had another tasty meal and a delicious pint. I would highly recommend this tour with Ollie Tours and hopefully you’ll be fortunate enough to get Phil as a guide.

      A truly wondrous experience
This was one of the best excursions I've ever done. Our very small group had a lovely lunch in Doolin and then we embarked on a five-mile hike along the southern rim of the Cliffs of Moher. The trail was not at all crowded and the views were stunning. Our guide, Phil, was unfailingly patient, a genuine delight to talk to, and very experienced (read: there are some parts of the trail that require caution and I felt entirely safe with him leading us). I can't recommend this highly enough for those who want to fully experience the Cliffs.

      Ollie’s Tours in Ireland
My wife booked a tour for the Aran island in Doolin Ireland through Ollie Tours. We thought Ollie Tours was the actual boat taking us to the island, not a one on one with an Ollie tour guide Named Conor C. Let me tell you. Best tour ever! Conor was very pleasant, fun and witty during the whole tour. Conor met my wife and I at the boat dock. Conor Walked us onto the boat and was with us every step of the way until we were ready to load back onto the boat back to the mainland. Instead of a bike ride on the island, Conor had one of the horse and buggy's talke us around most of the island. After a wonderful tour of the island, Conor took us to Una’s cafe for scones and tea! Excellent choice! Conor is definitely a great asset for Ollie’s Tours. He had quite a bit of the same excitement and enthusiasm as Ollie showed in his videos! Thanks Conor! Great meeting you and thank you for the wonderful experience! Gerry and Shelly Roy -Louisiana, USA

      Private Guided Tour
Tommy met us at the parking lot for our private tour of the Cliffs of Moher and he guided us along a path that we NEVER would have known about otherwise, and by the way this section was much less crowded, while telling us interesting stories and legends the whole time.

A wonderful hike everyone needs to experience
I had previously visited the Cliffs of Moher as most do - bus to the visitor center, walk up the hill and look over the cliffs. I had no idea what I was missing until we did this tour as a family. Breathtaking views that most will not see, multiple picture spots and a brilliant guide in Connor. He made a great hike even better with his local knowledge and cheerful personality. When we come back we WILL go with Connor to the Aran Islands for that tour as well. THANK YOU Pat, for making this walk a reality. Also - this is a hike with a few moderately steep inclines, so be informed but do not let that stop you.

The proper way to visit the Cliffs of Moher
Shout out to our guide Phil, who was brilliant! He drove our group to and from Doolin, got us squared away with lunch at a pub in town, and was very personable. Hiking from Doolin to Cliffs of Moher really is the proper way to do it, having done a bus tour to the Cliffs years ago the views weren’t as good. The hiking tour provided breathtaking views and the craic was ninety!

      Ollie's Tours, awesome!!
The Cliffs of Moher were amazing!! I booked this tour with Ollie''s Tours after hearing a podcast with him being interviewed and they did not disappoint. Our tour guide was Eleanor and my husband and I were the only ones with her. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the cliffs and the island in general. We live in a small town and we love to support our local businesses. I'm so happy that we booked with Ollie business and would definitely recommend to all!! Slan go foil!!!

      Top Memory!
My dad and I booked this tour during our trip to Ireland in April. We are both active people, so a five mile hike is exactly what we were looking for. This experience ranks as our favorite for both of us! We had an excellent tour guide, Conor, who kept us entertained the whole time. I even talked to Ollie on the phone when I called to say that we were running a little late, due to an unexpected ferry ride. Ollie called me back, after we had spoken, to make sure everything was still okay, which we appreciated so much! This tour is highly recommended!

Unforgettable Cliffs of Moher Views on Secluded Hike!
I toured with Conor C on a 5 mile hike from Doolin to the Cliffs of Moher and had an unforgettable experience! Conor was great about guiding both newer & more experienced hikers and told my group some fun facts about how the hiking path developed and about how you can find slabs of the cliffs in many pubs around Ireland. Originally, I thought I’d complete this hike on my own, but I’m glad I didn’t as it was quite muddy, rainy, windy, and precarious in spots. I got such a different experience of the Cliffs doing it this way and had a great time. Highly recommend! And if you can, bringing proper shoes will really help you out. Thanks Conor & Ollie’s!

The ONLY way to see the cliffs of Moher
Connor was absolutely brilliant! I would say that this trek is the only way to see the cliffs. The most beautiful views are on this path and not something you would get to do on your own. We got really lucky and saw basking sharks off the coast and a few minutes later, i got to photograph and see puffins.....something I would never have seen if not for this tour!

Great sites, good exercise, and new knowledge
Our family took the Doolin Moher tour with Sophia, a wonderful guide who enthusiastically pointed out many details along the way and their links to history, legend, and local lore. Our kids ages 11-17 all enjoyed the approximately 5 mile hike from Doolin Center to the Moher Visitor Center. Definitely a vacation highlight.

      Conor’s Cool Kids
Conor was such a nice young man, knowledgeable about the history of Ireland and accommodating to all of the members of my little group. Weather was shifty, but we got some good views. The hike was well Worth the effort! And totally manageable for people of moderate or better fitness. Would totally recommend it over taking a tour bus to the spot 👍🏾

We highly recommend this tour! Eleanor was our guide and she was fantastic! She was a thoroughly wonderful story teller and historian. This tour was just so easy from booking, finding our guide, parking, getting on and off the boat…simple things I prob worry too much about when traveling. We met Ollie, he’s actually a real person and very funny. The scone and coffee at Unas cafe was delicious! The table was set, reserved, and waiting for us. The local owner, his name was Johnny(who also is Unas husband) regaled us with more stories and facts about the island. It really was a ‘grand’ day!( have not heard that phrase since landing in Ireland)! The biking is fairly easy with only a few modest hills that some folks were able to bicycle up but it was an easy push. I recommend taking the additional cost to see the cliffs up close and from the sea. The captain was great. Take this tour! I wish all tours were this fun!

We did a private Inisheer tour with Connor, for our family of four. We did the ponies instead of bikes. Highly recommend the tour. Inisheer was beautiful! A highlight of our visit in Ireland.

And highly recommend Connor! He was awesome with our young kids. He planned in time for them to play and explore. As a mom who usually takes photos, I love how he took lots of photos on my phone for us. I didn’t even have to ask. He was so friendly and shared great history, stories and we just enjoyed chatting with him and learning more about Ireland in general.

If you have young kids, the private tour was helpful so we could spend a bit more time in certain spots and so your guide can be flexible and adjust the plans to include time for kids to explore.

It was a fantastic experience for our whole family. From start to finish, Ollie’s Tour took care of everything. Our guide Tommy was fantastic! He had a wealth of knowledge about the island, the people and history as well as other fun stories, and recommendations for the rest of our trip. The bikes were like mountain bikes with gears to keep you moving. It was easy to bike around, and a few hills made for perfect vantage points to take photos (and catch my breath). Tea and scones at Una’s were delicious and a refreshing end to the tour. The ferry to and from the island was on time, only 22 minutes each way. I highly recommend this tour to everyone.

Philip Foley was an amazing tour guide. From the start of the trip, he was friendly and welcoming. We met him in Galway for a tour an Aran Island bike tour. The drive up the corkscrew had me feeling a little car sick and Philip made a strategic 'viewing' stop so I could get it together! He was easy to talk to and had a great sense of humor. He lead our group through an informative and fun bike tour, taking extra time to explain some of the history of the O'Brien castle. My husband, an O'Brien, loved the stories and humor that Philip used to bring history to life! We ended out bike ride with scones, tea, and coffee and a conversation with the local owners of the shop! Philip gave us time to enjoy a few pints in Doolin after the boar ride back to the mainland, and made sure that we had a smooth ride back to Galway. He definitely made the tour better! I highly recommend this tour. It was well organized, and fun!

We had the best time seeing the sights of Inisheer by bicycle. Rob our guide did an amazing job showing us the landmarks. We particularly loved having a scone and tea at the end of the tour in the local cafe and listening to Rob play on the tin whistle. Highly recommend this tour

Would have rated it higher had it not been for the weather conditions that made it difficult to ride a bike. However, they did give us a Plan B with a tour on a carriage tractor. Our tour guide Eleanor was an excellent guide to the island and local shops and tea.

I can’t say enough good things about Ollie’s tours!! We went on the bike tour of the Aran islands. We had a fabulous time with our tour guide and the scones and tea that they provide at the end of the tour. We could have gone on our own without a tour but thank goodness we chose Ollie’s tours. First of all we learned so much more about the island then we would
Have had if we went on our own and second of all my husband left his wallet on the island. Ollie went above and beyond to contact us and when he found out we already left Doolin he actually mailed our wallet back to USA! It takes a special man to go that much out of his way for people he doesn’t even know! Thank you Ollie, and the next time we go back to Ireland we will absolutely use all of your tours!!

Absolutely incredible. If you want to see the Aran Islands, this is the way to do it! We had a member of our party have travel complications which led to us rescheduling and Ollie could not have been more helpful in that process. Once on the island we got bikes and began our tour (we were able to upgrade to an electric bike for my 73 year old mother). Ollie’s tour is informative, filled with great stories and lots of laughter. He has a very easy way about him that makes him feel like a lifelong friend right out of the gates. The scenery is absolutely breathtaking and it was one of my favorite places I’ve ever been. We added on the Cliffs of Moher boat cruise as well, which was such a good deal! You can’t get better views of the cliffs. Also, the Doolin pier is so close that when we finished we were a short ride from getting the aerial view of them as well. It was a day that will not be forgotten. Thanks again Ollie!

The weather was perfect and our guide Phil was great. He had a tremendous amount of knowledge about the island and about Ireland in general. We split off from the group because my niece doesn’t ride a bike. We went on a tractor ride and met up with the rest of our group later for tea and scones. It was fantastic; a guided tour but still time to wander by ourselves a bit. We spent a little extra for the ferry ride that went by the Cliffs of Moher - absolutely worth it for the breathtaking views of the cliffs from the water!!!
