We recently experienced a very enjoyable tour with Paddy Wagon Tours.
The driver/tour guide Don(?) kept us constantly entertained and informed. I particularly liked his explanation of Irish elections.

Blarney Castle was somewhat crowded and we did not line-up to climb a bunch of stairs just to kiss a rock but it is a lovely place with beautiful gardens. They would be spectacular in the spring and early summer.

Kinsale was extremely crowded due to a car rally and I was impressed at how Don maneuvered the full size coach through the heavy traffic.

I definitely recommend Paddy Wagon Tours.

Excellent timing for this trip - ours was the first bus group to Blarney Castle. Walked right in & no crowds. The bus driver (DJ) kept our group engaged during the drive with stories and song - lots of fun. Saw lovely countryside during the drive. The tour allowed plenty of time at the sites.

👎👎👎 Paddy Wagon Tours was no Show
Some 20 people stood on the pier waiting for NO SHOW Paddy WagonTours. We finally got notice that they weren’t coming 45 minutes later from another tour company. Paddy didn’t even care enough to notify us personally. Thanks to them our personal memories were never made. It appears to me Paddy Wagon tours has both a management and staffing problems or might be going out of business as several of us tried calling as well as messaging them in the days prior to the tour date with no response. Viator Booking also sent notification to them.
Disappointment is hardly a description of my feelings for this whole affair.

Tour guide was great and the trip was well-managed. Got there early enough to kiss the stone without much of a wait. And the castle gardens were much better than expected. Save some time to just walk around.

Kiss my A** Not the Stone: PaddyWagon

First thing..tour was overbooked!  We were "supposed" to be on PaddyWagon, but we were shuffled about to another operator.  Kevin ,with Butlers, was very nice and informative; however, it wasn't what we booked or expected.  I attempted to call and message PaddyWagon...no response.  The Butler bus was okay, just not the same.  PaddyWagon buses were decked out differently and looked to be more 'luxury'.  But we wouldn't know, because we were NOT on a PaddyWagon bus.  The restroom was taped shut with duct tape. (no kidding), the foot rests were broken and the seat in front of us would not stay forward, so we rode around for hours with a gentlemen in my wife's lap. Sites were great and the countryside was lovely.  We kissed the Blarney Stone and visited a great, local pub.  We saw alot and made the best of it.  BUT, when you visit for the first time you want more than just "Making The Best Of It"!!!  I would give PaddyWagon less than a 'zero' for customer service and following up with their patrons.  Book directly with the actual tour operator next time.

We took the tour to Cork with Richard O’Brien. He was an excellent guide. He unfortunately had an issue with one of the guests that kind of put a damper on the whole trip. Richard did a good job dealing with it while keeping the rest of us going forward. His knowledge and information was very helpful with our trip. Gave lots of little antidotes and placed we should visit here in Ireland.

Our driver was great, very patient with a fellow tour member who was 20 minutes late back to the bus. He was a terrific tour guide filling in information not only about what we were seeing, but the history of the area both important and incidental. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Really great shore excursion to Blarney Castle & Kinsale. This was a really great value tour, full of humour and fun. We arrived way ahead of the ship tours first thing in the morning. The line up to kiss the Blarney stone was non existent. Kinsale was a cute little town. There was a farmer's market going on when we were there. We had a great lunch full of fresh food.
