    Cork to Cliffs of Moher
A nicer option would have been to visit the Burren caves or Bunratty Castle vs just the pit stop or drive by. The ride back was long but nice touch with the Irish music. The tour guide/bus driver was great. Thank you Brian! Stop at the Cliffs was just long enough. Did not need the added lunch stop, (company restaurant/cash grab) could have picked something at the Cliffs cafe. First Ireland tour, we usually do it all on our own, will choose other stop options if we ever tour again.

    Wonderful Experience
The Cliffs of Moher were beautiful. The lunch restaurant was so cozy and the Fish and Chips were excellent. We made a 3rd stop at a small shopping area with food and a castle. We only had 30 minutes there. I would not stopping at the additional cliffs and had a longer time at the last stop. Aiden our bus driver was very funny and did a great job. I highly recommend.

Blarney Castle and Kinsale from the cruise port of Cobh
Ive left this review before but it seems to have been posted in the wrong place. We were picked up at the cruise port. The coach was hidden just around the corner outside the security area. Our driver was Gabriel. He headed straight to Blarney Castle, we were the very first group to arrive and get tickets for the castle. The grounds are stunning and expansive. The only trouble here was not enough time allowed to enjoy them properly. I would come again and easily spend a whole day here. We had a look around the Woollen Mills shops and bought a couple of souvenirs. Then back on the coach for a drive through Cork with Gabriel giving us a comprensive vocal guide. Then to Kinsale where we had some free time to wander. We ended up in the village square, where the pub had outside seating. Its just got to be done! A lovely hour or so in the sun with a Guinness. Then he headed back to the cruise port in plenty of time. Gabriel gave us plenty of information along the way and his commentary was clear and concise. Many thanks to Paddywagon Tours for a great day. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

Super Trip but Watch the Extra Expenses
I felt like a vagabond since they told me the morning of my Dingle trip that Dingle was cancelled due to a marathon. Driver offered me last seat on back of bus bound for Ring of Kerry. I took it. I wasn't disappointed visiting the towns of Killarney, Waterside, and Sneem, although the driver kept promoting stops that required extra money to enjoy, such as the peasant village in Ballintleaf, the pony cart ride in Killarney, and lunch at a Lobster Shack in Waterside. Some great roadside stops made up for it, including the best bay in the Ring of Kerry. Glad I went, but my advice is not to fall for all the shuck expenses along the way.

    Just OK
The stops at sights were very short. It is not a standout tour, is just OK. Next time, I will look at minibus tours.

    Cliffs of Mohr
Our bus driver Brian was great and had a lot of knowledge of the area. The only thing I would change is to take out the “baby cliffs”. We were there for 20 minutes and it was a waste of time. I would add that 20 minutes to Bunready castle. There is a lot to do there and 20 minutes was not enough

A great day out, thank you Paddywagon Tours!
We had a wonderful day out with Paddywagon Tours - we would definitely recommend it! We boarded the bus in Cork and travelled to Killarney town centre. We opted for the additional horse drawn carriage ride through Killarney National Park and it did not disappoint, the views across the park were beautiful. We made various stops along the bus route at picturesque points and visited The Kerry Bog Village. We stopped for lunch at the beautiful Waterville beach before boarding the bus to other picture-stops and stopping in Sneem for icecream. We finished the day with a tour through the stunning Black Valley and a stop at Torc Waterfall, before heading back to Cork. A great day out, thank you Paddywagon Tours!

Beautiful trip in the wilderness of Ireland
The trip itself was exactly what I would expect by this experience. You'll travel around a wilder side of Ireland and stop in many beautiful and hidden locations. Even if it's quite long, the frequent stops make it bearable. Along the way there are optional activities you can do if interested.

    Highly recommended. Breathtaking Views
One of the best tours we’ve done. Must do this if you’re anywhere in the area! The weather was miserable but we still had a wonderful time so can be done anytime of year really.

Medical Discrimination, Didn't Allow Us To Board, And Will Not Give Our Money Back
This office and company not only discriminated against my fiance because of her allergies, but we didn't even get refunded for the booking they wouldn't allow us on like they promised. To be clear, they wouldn't allow us on the bus, we were promised a refund, and we didn't get it. We had problems with this office over email before the trip but after speaking with their head office in Dublin over the phone, we thought things got cleared up and that my fiance would be accommodated for her allergies. Upon arriving at the pickup location the morning of the tour, the tour guide said he couldn't do what most airlines do and request that passengers not consume nuts because "most of them don't speak english". He knew we were supposed to be going on the tour and disclosed that he just ate nuts that morning followed by stating that because my fiance was deathly allergic to nuts that for "health and safety" he could not allow us on the bus (for the tour we paid for). When trying to rectify the situation with an employee in the tour company office, they refused to help as well. They told us the only other option was a Private tour (costing 5 times the price of this tour) or to take public transit. The woman at the office promised a refund would be made and that she would expedite the process by contacting head office. I took this woman at her word but after many emails since the 18th of August, we have not received our refund and they have not replied to any of our communication requests or emails. The good - if you have no allergies, you can have a reasonable costing bus tour to the cliffs of Moher The bad - they will not give your money back and will not reply to any electronic communication. They probably will not even reply to this review. I would not recommend this company especially not from their Cork office. This experience has left my fiance feeling like she will never return to Ireland at all.

Great tour - bring a lunch!
Such an amazing experience! So glad we did the tour instead of attempting to drive it on our own. We picked up sandwiches in Killarney for lunch later in Waterville so that we could spend the whole 40 minutes by the water and not waiting for our food. Best decision we made! Definitely recommend this tour.

Go on your own, you’ll have more fun
Our tour guide Brian was very mean and nasty to the guests. He wouldn’t allow us to speak to each other on the bus or he said wouldn’t tell us anything else for the tour. One passenger got the point of asking was he ever a teacher because he was treating us all like children the entire day. He refused to help me with putting my moms wheelchair under storage and because of this, he didn’t notice when he opened the under storage door that the wheelchair was stuck. When I went to shift the wheelchair, the door fell on me, injuring my leg and smashing my arm. Even then, Brian did not help. Another passenger had to yell at him to open the door to release my arm. Another paggywagon tour guide nearby laughed, insisting I was drunk. Neither Brian nor the other guide stepped in neither to help nor did he apologize for me getting hurt. Besides this poor experience, the actual tour itself was not what we paid for. Brian seemed to want to go home early for the day, so we only got 40 minutes in Killarney town center. This gave you about enough time to sprint to one thing you could see and sprint back. Only 5 people in our tour actually made it to the town center and they were all sweating and panting when they returned. Despite not getting to see this, we kept on with the tour to find out we would not see half of the sites listed in the itinerary. Brian decided to drive past dingle bay because he didn’t like how many cars were parked so we missed the entirety of the experience. I sincerely wished I had just drove myself and my mom, and we could’ve enjoyed the day much more. Within one hour of the tour I noted this and even took it as far as to research the cost of an Uber back to our car in cork to drive ourselves back. We were undeniably displeased with this experience and I would highly recommend just driving yourself through and reading the signs of information as you go. Trust me you’d have a better day. I don’t know how this company was awarded anything, by far one of the worst tours I’ve been on. Spare yourself the bad day. Brian should find a new job, something he actually enjoys. Because people and touring just isn’t his calling.

    Fun, beautiful, and educational
Brian was our driver and was absolutely fantastic! On our way up and back he provided us with a terrific history of Ireland as a whole and on a smaller scale of some of the places we drove through and sights we passed by. There were plenty of stops for restroom breaks and to grab a quick bite, or even a pint of you're fast enough. The Cliffs of Moher were beautiful (we were lucky to have a clear day) and we had plenty of time to hike the trails in either direction. We even had time to check out the gift shop which had great mix of cheesy and more upscale souvenirs. We didn't stop in Doolin like the site said, perhaps an update is coming, but the place we did stop at for lunch (the Frantic Chef) was delicious and efficient. I think my favorite stop, though, was Burren Way (the Baby Cliffs) becuse it was unlike anything if seen before. I'll admit part of me was worried about spending a whole day traveling to spend just a few hours at the sights, but it turned out to be a really great day we were happy to have a guide and a seasoned professional handling the roads for us!

The Ring of Kerry: A Great Adventure
John was an excellent guide! He was very knowledgeable about the sites and kept us all entertained. The stops were well timed; we especially loved the jaunting in Killarney National Park! We would highly recommend this tour… and would never dare to drive on these narrow mountainous roads on our own! Thank you for a wonderful day!

    Shameful driver, unsightly sights
Crying disappointing shame of a tour. The driver Gerrard was smoking. Like, actual cigarettes aflame smoking and puffing little clouds. He nearly steered us off the road by trying to light a cig. I filmed him. He was also very busy texting, calling, eating, drinking - basically anything you like except driving with any care. The tour guide was immature - didn't have any depth of knowledge about the area or the tour or surroundings. She googled for info. I felt like I was on that episode of UK Apprentice where they do the tour hosting challenging. Absolute mess. We boarded 0730 at Cork and returned 1800. That's 10.5 hours. About 8.5 hours were spent on the bus. And it wasn't comfortable, it wasn't the itinerary as expected, the usb charging points didn't work. Loads of people were complaining and suffering, including those who called in to Paddywagon HQ. Did anyone from HQ help us? No. Has anyone offered a refund? No. As for the sights themselves, there's not much to see. It's two stops at a variety of cliffs. I mean, they're cliffs. I've been other places, including in Ireland, where sights are much more impressive. I've written to Paddywagon to demand a refund.

I really can’t write a review on this trip since the tour company (Paddywagon Tours) never showed up! They left at least 15 people standing there waiting and wouldn’t answer the phone. We finally decided to go on a tour with a local guide who was there but I would never recommend this company.

This was the worst tour we’ve ever had in any country, EVER! Beyond the fact it was extremely rushed and didn’t visit much that is listed in the description (but don’t worry he dropped us off for a cheap lunch no one on the tour could eat so we stood around wasting time), the guide was horrific. He spent the entire time doing 1 of 3 things - telling raunchy, explicit sex jokes, encouraging under age drinking, or asking for tip money. He also only got us a back to the ship a few minutes before all aboard which was nerve wracking. Skip this tour!

Excellent timing for this trip - ours was the first bus group to Blarney Castle. Walked right in & no crowds. The bus driver (DJ) kept our group engaged during the drive with stories and song - lots of fun. Saw lovely countryside during the drive. The tour allowed plenty of time at the sites.

We took this tour as a shore excursion on our stop in Cork. There were numerous problems encountered.

We booked a small group tour, the bus held 34 people. Everyone was complaining that it was NOT a small group.

Regarding Blarney Castle, the description reads "skip all the lines ahead of your fellow shipmates as our guests enjoy priority status. En- route, we’ll enjoy a panoramic drive through Cork City. Your guide will point out the highlights of the southern capital such as St Finbarre's Cathedral, Shandon Bells, historic English Market and beautiful River Lee. We were rushing from the get go and did not get a tour of the above highlights AND the line to see the Blarney Stone was 90 minutes of standing in a winding narrow staircase. So, we did not enjoy priority status.

Instead of going to Kinsale, we wound up going to the Jamison distillery. Unfortunately, no one from the company made the reservation at the distillery so our driver had to negotiate with them to allow us to tour the distillery. It was an hour later than we expected and we had to rush back so we wouldn't miss the ship.

So we did not partake in: "On our return to the ship we get a quick overview of Cobh, the last departure point of Titanic on her fateful maiden voyage and have time to visit St. Colman's Cathedral - the final place of worship for many Irish emigrants."

Overall, poorly executed and not recommended.

The tour company did not show up for us and two other groups. Another man speculated that this was a scam because we each ended up having to hire private taxis to take us around which cost more than double for half the time. We didn’t make it to Kinsale only to Blarney Castle. We had rushed to get ready for an early pickup(7:30 am) only to be disappointed.

Cork was one of the ports of call for our Oceania cruise. On arriving close to the port at 6 am on Sept 3, the fog was very dense and visibility was poor. The captain felt that it would be unsafe to proceed to the harbour and decided to wait for the fog to clear. Unfortunately the fog bank persisted and at 9 am he decided to cancel the visit to Cork and proceeded to the next port. Our tour had been paid in full. Due to this extenuating circumstances we could not attend the tour so we requested a refund. Paddywagon refused, claiming that we did not make the request at least 24 hrs in advance. The dense fog that prevented the port visit was an unanticipated event so we could not possibly cancel within their 24 hr limit. Most other tours for the cruise passengers had offered full refund. Paddywagon is more concerned about profit than maintaining customer satisfaction.

Our driver Podge was friendly and informative and dedicated to showing us around his beautiful country. Our day began at the Blarney Castle. We were one of the first tour buses to arrive, so there were no lines to get into the castle. The views were incredible. The rain did not dampen our experience. I could have spent all day in the Blarney Woolen Mills. A very large, beautiful selection of Irish gifts. Next we headed to Kinsale. Unfortunately, a couple who didn't think the stated time to return to the bus applied to them, and they were inadvertently left behind. A call to the driver ten minutes after we left, and we had to turn around and go back. This cut into our time in Kinsale, and could have been prevented by counting the passengers, or someone speaking up about the empty seats near them. Anyway, we went on to Kinsale and had time only for lunch before having to get back to our ship, which was leaving at 4 pm. Podge shared a lot of Irish history with us, and inspired me to learn more about the home of my ancestors.

Kiss my A** Not the Stone: PaddyWagon

First thing..tour was overbooked!  We were "supposed" to be on PaddyWagon, but we were shuffled about to another operator.  Kevin ,with Butlers, was very nice and informative; however, it wasn't what we booked or expected.  I attempted to call and message PaddyWagon...no response.  The Butler bus was okay, just not the same.  PaddyWagon buses were decked out differently and looked to be more 'luxury'.  But we wouldn't know, because we were NOT on a PaddyWagon bus.  The restroom was taped shut with duct tape. (no kidding), the foot rests were broken and the seat in front of us would not stay forward, so we rode around for hours with a gentlemen in my wife's lap. Sites were great and the countryside was lovely.  We kissed the Blarney Stone and visited a great, local pub.  We saw alot and made the best of it.  BUT, when you visit for the first time you want more than just "Making The Best Of It"!!!  I would give PaddyWagon less than a 'zero' for customer service and following up with their patrons.  Book directly with the actual tour operator next time.

The tour offered the same or better than the ship tour, for a better price. The driver is also the guide, and talks straight to the point. He even played Irish music during the drives. They operate as “Paddywagon Tours”

I think this was one of my favorite excursions that I had during my British Isles cruise. We were picked up at the cruise ship port and treated to a day of fun exploring Ireland. We quickly headed out to Blarney Castle and had almost no wait to explore the castle and kiss the Blarney Stone. Don't skip the Woolen Mills Gift shop outside of the castle, it was fabulous. Our driver kept us entertained telling us tales and folklore surrounding the stone. We also had a stop at Kinsale where we had lunch and a little time to explore the historical town. I would highly recommend this tour.
