      Great ride!
We had a great ride around Slea Head on our WeWheel electric bikes. Jade was super helpful and flexible. Be sure your phones are fully charged when you pick up your bikes. Well worth the time and money!

Dingle should be on everyone’s priority list when visiting Ireland, and that means a lot, considering how many beautiful places there are to visit on the island. I think hands down, if you are not mobility-challenged, this is the best way to see most of the best that the peninsula has to offer. I’m in my 50s with a bad knee, but I still do a lot of biking (not mountain biking: that’s a whole different sport). Electric bikes are fun and easy to use, and you can control how much exercise you want to get. Once you’re out of the town, there’s a lot less traffic, and the cars (except for a few clueless tourists) are very aware of bikers. The bikes are in tiptop condition, and they have sizes for smaller people (I’m only 5 feet tall). For those of you who don’t bike, it’s imperative that your bike fits or you risk discomfort and injury. I was blessed with sunny weather, so not being cooped up in a car was heaven. The natural views and historic landmarks are stunning. The other thing great about this trip is that they have done a good job laying out an itinerary to see all the best spots without rushing. I made the mistake of stopping at lots of “beehive huts” viewings, which wasted a lot of time, so I had to shave off time at my favorite spots (like the Blasket Centre) and also had to race to get the bike back on time. My trip ended up to be around 6 hours, and wasn’t nearly enough. BTW, 1 of the stops includes a beehive hut right off the road and is free. i could go on and on, but I think that it’s obvious I highly recommend.

Such a fun way to experience the great town of Dingle! The headsets in the bike helmets so we could talk to each other during the ride were fantastic along with the narration of what we were seeing. Bikes are very comfortable. A few things we wished we’d been aware of prior to starting. There are no racks or baskets on the bikes so bring a backpack to carry water and any purchases you make. If your phone doesn’t hold a long charge, bring a quick charge battery so you can still access the map while riding. The app could use a few mile markers or more detail so you don’t stray off the trail. We made a lot of stops along the way and had lunch at a great little restaurant with a great view of Blasket Islands. What was supposed to be a 3 hour bike ride turned into 5. It was a great experience and we’re so glad we did it!

Just back from a family weekend in Dingle and our Slea head drive cycle was great. We stayed at the Dingle Marina and got also our bikes from there. The bikes were perfect and brand new. The Wewheel app guided us around the Slea Head drive and the helmets provided us with the full history or Ireland and lands of facts about The Dingle Peninsula as well. The speaker was really funny and cracked some awesome joke. All in all a great experience and would highly recommend.

I visited Dingle with some family and we saw this tour online and booked it. We were a group of three. The process was easy and when we got to the hotel to check in, Jade was kind and very helpful. She got us prepared with our phones and the helmets. When it was time to get the bike. One of the pieces broke and Jade quickly got us another bike with no issues. The bike tour was fantastic with beautiful views and the navigation and audio guide was interesting and worked very well. The bikes were nice and easy to operate. All in all I would 100% recommend the tour to anyone who visits and wants to learn about dingle while seeing the beautiful landscape from a different perspective and get a little bit of a work out too!

We rented eBikes for the day to explore the Dingle peninsula and had a great experience. The proprietor gave us excellent tips for navigation, places to check out and some fun stories. Booking was easy and it was nice having a later return time to not have to rush. eBiking let us see a lot of the peninsula compared to normal bikes. We could pull over easily to explore and take in the views so overall I think it was much more enjoyable than driving would have been. It was insanely beautiful! The only issue was 2 of the bikes did not seem to have as much power assist as the other 3 but otherwise they were in good shape. Would definitely come back and rent from Dingle eBikes again!

I can't think of a better way for us to have taken in the Slea Head Drive than this amazing experience. The bikes were easy to use and the corresponding app with the tour guide information made things very straightforward. They let us know we had a window of 4 hours and that the trip on average is 3-3.5 hrs. We finished right at 3.5 hrs. It seems silly, but I was much more comfortable taking that route on a bike than I would have been driving on the narrow roads in a car! Loved every minute of this bike tour!

We were very blessed with the weather, bright sunshine and blue skies. The Slea Head Pass is just stunning and there are so many places to stop off en- route to see interesting points or views. You can easily spend a whole day doing this route if you wish, so if you get the right weather, take your time and enjoy. The electric bikes are great and make the whole experience fun and easy. Orla is brilliant when sorting the bikes and giving out maps etc. Thank you !

This was the best part of our trip! We got to see so much of the countryside and rode the sleahead drive. it took a little while to get used to the bikes, but in general, they were intuitive. After riding a while, it became obvious our instructor had not ridden the bikes herself. My only comment would be that the owners make sure people giving instructions have actually ridden the bikes. This would make things very helpful. Otherwise, great experience would absolutely recommend this!

The best way to explore this portion of the Wild Atlantic Way and take in the scenery of the Dingle Peninsula. Felicity was very welcoming and informative. It was great to be able to chat to your group and also listen to the audioguide both via the Bluetooth helmets. We saw some Basket sharks, horses, donkeys and lots and lots of sheep / lambs. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is considering it.

This tour was perfect from beginning to end – definitely a highlight of our trip! The woman who showed us how to use the E-bikes was wonderful and accommodating. She got us in an hour earlier than our scheduled time at our request, and thoroughly showed us how to operate the bikes. Everything we saw on the ride was breathtaking, and experiencing it on a bicycle was pure magic. We will highly recommend this to anyone we know going to Dingle!
