'Game of Thrones' Filming Locations Tour in Malta
US$69.81
Overview
Go on this behind-the-scenes Game of Thrones tour through Malta that includes entrance fees and hotel pickup and drop-off. See special filming locations from season one and two—some that aren’t even open to the public—and hear cool trivia from your guides who were actually actors on the hit TV show.
What to Expect
Your Game of Thrones tour starts with pickup from your Malta hotel. Board your vehicle for the day, and get ready to see sets used in the popular HBO show.

Your guides appeared on the show themselves, and tell you behind-the-scenes stories and fun facts about the show as you ride. Visit places that were used in the filming of Game of Thrones, and hear cool insider info.

Some of the places you can stop by include Maegor's Holdfast, a fortress used during the filming of the Battle of the Blackwater and Shadow Cliffs, and the desert-like terrain of Red Waste. Pass by the yard of Tobho Mott, the Baelish Brothel, King’s Gate, Coppersmith’s Wynd, and Cobbler's Square.

Your guided tour takes a break in Mdina for lunch (own expense) before you get taken back to your hotel when your tour ends.

Informative, but too pricey for such a packed tour

Pro: Malcolm shows you almost all relevant GoT Spots from the first season. He has some great insides and is happy to answer any question. The tour gets even extended through a short (~10 min) visit at Popey Village. Contra: Do not expect a personal...More

Great time for real fans

It was a bit too hot in August and attraction got really popular so way to many people. Still, it was great and Malcolm has not yet lost the passion of telling these interesting stories. Overall, Games of Thrones fans will not be dissapointed.

Fascinating insight into the making of GOT season 1 and the filming world in general.

We don't normally do tours but were persuaded to by friends. We were dubious about just seeing locations but our guide, Malcolm, brought the tour to life. Not just talking about GOT but also about how films and TV shows are made, what methods and...More

I believe so, I was looking at mid week when visited in may but Saturday was the only day I could find on all websites. There might be a private smaller tour on other days. Best to contact Malcolm and find out.
