Overview
Most visitors to Iceland concentrate on the Golden Circle, often missing out on the impressive south coast. This full-day tour from Reykjavik is a fuss-free way around the south coast’s attractions, and a convenient alternative to exploring independently. You visit must-sees such as Reynisfja beach and the Skogafoss and Seljalandsfoss waterfalls. Plus, enjoy background on the sights from a guide, and air-conditioned hotel and port transfers in Reykjavik.

Highlights
  • See Iceland’s south-coast highlights on a day trip from Reykjavik
  • Explore with a guide for background on each sight
  • See Seljalandsfoss and Skogafass waterfalls, glaciers, and Reynisfjara
  • One of most affordable south-coast tours, with a fuss-free itinerary
  • Convenient transfers from central Reykjavik hotels, plus port pickup
What to Expect
After hotel or cruise port pickup in Reykjavik, settle aboard an air-conditioned bus and travel to Iceland’s south coast, famous for its natural beauty. Head for the small village of Vik, known for its stellar sea views, and walk on the black sands of Reynisfjara beach, admiring its basalt-column cliffs. Next, continue to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Take in the beauty of the fall and walk behind the cascade to Skogafoss, whose waters plunge down a 197-foot (60-meter) drop. Make the most of the many photo ops as the falls and scenery promise some stunning shots. Finally, take a short walk to the glacier edge of Solheimajokull, a sublet glacier of Myrdalsjokull. The glaciers are constantly moving, and make some of Iceland’s most incredible sights. Marvel at the sizes of the glaciers before your tour ends with a drop-off at your hotel or another, central location in Reykjavik.

I highly recommend using this company for day trips out of Reykjavik. Our guide "Frosti" was very knowledgable and quite witty, which made this trip even more enjoyeable. The waterfalls in particular I think we're beautiful. Great service.

I would totally recommend this tour. The tour guide knew what he was talking about and the small bus was comfortable. We saw the most spectacular sceneries of the South coast and went to all the iconic places. Really worth the price!
