Worthwhile
Jan 2020 • Solo
Very handy, lots of free or discounted admissions.. I booked mine 3 weeks in advance but maybe don’t do that as the weather was windy and rainy and therefore some things I wanted to do like the fortress I opted not to do due to unfavourable weather - I feel I could’ve got more value for money with a shorter period than what i used mine for but each to their own schedule.

Worth it!
Jul 2019
We purchased a two day Helsinki card and it was well worth the cost. We could get around Helsinki with ease and public transportation is plentiful. It also included a ferry ride to the island and that was wonderful as well.

Good deal
Aug 2019
The Helsinki Card was a great deal for us. We bought it online ahead of time and picked it up at the airport. Other than the train ride from the airport to main train station, it covered virtually everything else we did for the next 2.5 days. No waiting to buy tickets, just walk up and scan the card. Loved it.

Good value saves hassle
Bought the 3 day Helsinki card in Australia ($80) and had it posted so that we could start using it on arrival without hassle.
Used it to catch the airport train to the city (30 mins) and then a tram to the hotel.
Then used it for the 2 bus tours and canal tour along with some discounted restaurants.
Found it exc value even tho it rained for the 3 days in Helsinki. Gave us plenty to see and do and only had to show the card.
Worth it

A good value unless you don't like museums
Sep 2019
We bought Helsinki cards and used them the day after we arrived to give us a chance to rest. To get the best value from the card you should plan to visit the attractions with tyhe highest admission fees first. Our plan: day 1 - Hop-o-off bus, canal boat ride, National Museum, Rock Church. Day 2-Suomenlinna, Design Museum. Day 3 - Atheneum, Amos Rex, HAM. Got the full value of the card by midday day 2. the rest was gravy.

saving money and time, skip the lines
Aug 2019
I made an excellent choice to buy the Helsinki card! We saved a lot of money and time, the transport was free, also hop on-hop off bus and boat, entrance to many museums, as well as discounts to some objectives.
Plus, I didn't stand in queues anymore, which was a time-saver.

Saved heaps of money with Helsinki card.
I bought a 3 day card on line with a 10% discount and did not start using it until the day after I arrived to maximise the value. Public Bus from airport was only 4.60 euro.
I used buses, trams, metro, ferry as well as visiting Suominlinna, Kiasma, Ateneum, Rock church, hop on hop off bus circuit, 1/2 day tour to Arabia factory, Villa Hakasalmi, National Museum of Finland, canal route cruise. It would have cost 3 times as much as the card cost and I enjoyed it all. Fabulous value and so easy.

Value for money
Jul 2019 • Friends
We got the three day city pass. We collected it at the airport and could start using it right away for travel to the city. We could use it at all public transportation (train, tram, bus, ferry) as well as hop on hop off buses. Entry to various tourist attractions were free or were at discount rates. I also got 50% for my half day trip to Porvoo with Stromma tours. Definitely worth the money we paid.

Great discounts
Mar 2019
Great discounts on attractions in Helsinki. The boat trip was the best seeing all the islands and the houses with the saunas near the water. The hop on hop off bus was kind of boring and the audio was very poor and hard to hear above the traffic noise.
