About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- Paradise162615624930 contributionsLovely dogs, short rideWe did the husky safari. This was really very nice. The guides were very nice. The dogs were lovely. We thought the safari itself was too short (especially compared with the amount we had to pay.). A lot of time was spent to tell about the dogs. We would rather have done a ride again or a longer ride.Written 22 March 2025
- DauntlessInDublin0 contributionsFantastic experience with some amazing animals.Very cool activity, the reindeer are amazing animals. The reindeer ride is not very long but a really unique experience. We learned a lot from the people at the reindeer farm who were extremely friendly and helpful. The husky part of the trip was also really good, you learn about the dogs and are able to pet them, though for a proper meeting I'd recommend trying to tack on the Meet & Greet at the Husky Park as we could only meet the dogs through their enclosures. The actual ride is really cool as well, the dogs are very well trained and it's surprisingly fast.Written 13 March 2025
- I9696KYsarahp0 contributionsThe reindeer and husky ride were awesomeThe views were breathtaking and mesmerizing me and my family loved the guide was nice and everything was perfect no problems. We loved the reindeer ride but the husky ride was simply perfect truly once in a lifetimeWritten 6 March 2025
- 284christophf0 contributionsOn time, professional, friendly and personable serviceHelsinki and Lapland were on our bucket list for some time, so expectations were high. All pick up and excursions organised by Easy Travel were indeed that - easy. On time pick ups, competent, knowledgeable and friendly staff made the experience truly special. As we were running out of day time after arrival in Helsinki, our driver, whose name I forgot, took a slightly scenic tour and told us about the buildings and places and history. In Rovaniemi we had the same great experience with Slava, our driver. Friendly and personal service made the entire experience better than we had hoped for. The husky ride, the snow mobile experience, the ice hotel visit and organisation of our clothes and equipment hire were absolutely smooth sailing. Thanks so much.Written 25 February 2025
- panagiotis t0 contributionsExcellent service but a bit overpricedNothing bad to say about the service, the people, the experience. However if you notice the actual prices of the same activities in the Santa Claus village and you also include the transfer you can see that you d save ~$60 / person if booked directly from there .Written 13 February 2025
- Scenic6194540 contributionsSanta experience in LaplandAmazing trip to Lapland the scenery was amazing and the organisers/elves had everything planned out for us a bus waiting to take us to all the events ie husky sleigh rides, snowmobile rides and the elves village we also went to decorate cookies with mrs Claus and the elves and a sleigh ride through the forest to find Santa in his house truly amazing experience,The 4day trip was very special our accommodations were brilliant everything you could need and all the outdoor suits and boots were included probably a once in a lifetime experience but definitely worth it,Written 8 February 2025
- J5789FBandrzejb0 contributionsBUS tour for £700Stay away from this company. See below what they have offered us for £700. SO far they keep responding (like on Trustpilot) that someone will be in touch. And someone is then in touch to... tell you that all was fine and great. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. See below and reflect if you wanted to purchase anything from them. Honestly I have never dealt with such arogant company in total denial of their scam service. It was effectively a theft of our money. 5 hour bus tour for over £700!!! We were effectively sold a 5 hour bus tour with a short break for a 5 min husky ride around the lake! Below a detailed reason why we feel totally dissatisfied and and currently seeking full refund for our terrible experience: 1. Misleading Title and Tour Description: The tour was marketed as a "Husky Safari," but this was far from accurate. A "safari" cannot be defined as a 5-minute ride around a lake at a husky farm. This was the entirety of the experience, which was nowhere near what we were expecting. 2. Ride Duration Mismatch: The advertisement stated that we would enjoy a 20- or 30-minute husky ride. However, the actual ride was only a 5-minute loop around a frozen lake, which is a significant deviation from what was promised. 3. Inconsistent Communication: On December 30, we received a message from the "Easy Travel Team" via WhatsApp indicating the safari would take place at a farm due to low snow conditions and that we would return around 14:15. However, when we spoke to our guide, we were told that the safari always takes place on a farm, contrary to what was communicated to us. This discrepancy led to confusion and disappointment. 4. Lack of Proper Guidance: The advertisement mentioned “guidance services,” but our guide provided no guidance during the tour. This led to confusion and disorganization, leaving us unsure of the schedule and the itinerary throughout the tour and its various hiccups. 5. Inaccurate Tour Timing: The tour was advertised as lasting 2 hours, with a start time around 11:00 am and an end time around 2:15 pm. In reality, we were picked up at 10:45 am, arrived at the farm at 12:30 pm, and only returned to Rovaniemi at 3:30 pm. The actual time spent on the tour was drastically longer than anticipated, which disrupted our plans for the afternoon. 6. Rude Onsite Team: Upon arrival at the farm, there was a visible disagreement between the hosts and our guide, which resulted in us being asked to remain on the bus for an additional 45 minutes. This delay was frustrating, as we were unable to stretch our legs or explore the area while we waited. At one point, we were told by our "guide" we could leave the bus. My 84 year old mother stepped off the bus and was then yelled at by Erika (the on site host) to get back on the bus. I then intervened the conversation to relay we are frustrated and have been waiting and was yelled by Erika. Erika then told the driver to lock the bus door so no one could leave. 7. Short and Rushed Experience: When the ride finally began, it lasted only 5 minutes. The experience felt rushed, and at one point, we were asked to make way for another group in a hurry. I must add that my father who is 87 year old, and can’t stand for long periods, and I waited patiently for our turn and felt if anything we should have been one of the first to be accommodated. This added to the frustration. Moreover, half the group did not receive any explanation about raising huskies, which was another advertised aspect of the tour. 8. Unpleasant Refreshment Setup: The entry to the tent was icy and hazardous. The advertised "hot berry juice, coffee, tea with cookies" was served in a cramped, smoky tent with space for only a few people. The other tent was so smoky it could not be entered. The cookies were hard and difficult to eat. The single toilet provided was unpleasant—there was no running water, and it had an overpowering odour. 9. Disruptions to Our Plans: Due to the extensive delays, we returned to Rovaniemi only at 3:30 pm, which caused us to miss out on our planned activities for the afternoon. This experience was not only disappointing but also misleading. In total, we spent nearly 5 hours mostly sitting on the bus, with just 5 minutes of husky interaction, no tour guidance or coordination, and dealing with rude farm hosts—all for a cost of over £700! It is an understatement to say we feel incredibly let down by the entire experience. This trip was meant to be a highlight of our family holiday, a special experience that we had been looking forward to – a trip we researched thoroughly and hand picked due to the safari description.Written 7 February 2025

He explained everything to us in details ranging from time and place to meet to Santa Claus Village history. this tour included "to meet Santa" since tickets are required for now ofr this event. the only thing I wish this tour can do more is to take tourists to some other places in Rovaniemi.Written 7 January 2025

- D3435BSlouisem0 contributionsActual activities great; but company not - be very wary of their trusting their timings!!Both sites clearly cared very well for the welfare of their animals. Reindeer place super well organised, slickly run (without us ever feeling rushed), fun and informative guide who's a 4th generation reindeer farmer. Husky visit also lovely, well organised by the owner who clearly absolutely loves her dogs; but more rushed (see below). Confirmation and communication beforehand about pick-up point/time etc. was clear. It all boded well. My principal concern is Easy Travel's organisation of the trip. Supposed to start at 0930, and with a stated running time of 2.5 - 3 hours (their own website) it was reasonable for us to expect to be back in Rovaniemi somewhere around 1300. This was important to us as we intended to have lunch in town, maybe catch a bit more at Arktikum before heading out to the airport for our flight home (not til 1800, we left a very healthy margin of error). I'd assumed we'd go straight from the reindeer location to the huskies location. BIG mistake. After visiting the reindeeer place, we went back into Rovaniemi to drop off some people. Then we spent the next 50 mins stuck in the coach as it drove round Rovaniemi picking up other passengers. We then drove back out of Rovaniemi again for 45 minutes to reach the huskies location. We didn't even arrive there until after the time we should have been in Rovaniemi! I really felt for the families with young children, stuck on the bus for over an hour and a half. It felt very rushed at the huskies location as the well-meaning and friendly Easy Travel tour guide tried to herd us (best word I can use) through the two main activities before the other large tour group which arrived shortly after us. Simple things which could have been organised in advance (like dividing our group into 4s for the husky sleigh ride) ended up slightly chaotic as the husky place woman was left to do this on her own (maybe the Easy Travel guide could have helped??). Then back on the bus to head back to Rovaniemi. By this point it was clear we wouldn't be back in town til around 1500. 20 minutes or so either way I could have understood. *Two hours late*?! THAT IS NOT OKAY! People on that coach would have had plans for the rest of the day. I feel it's down to a lack of professional planning and organisation on the part of the company, and I feel it's a failure on their part to care enough about their customers to communicate effectively with them. Even if they had to make last minute changes (I see from the reviews that this is not the first time it has happened), the Easy Travel guide should have informed everyone at the outset. (She did seem to be talking through the schedule at one point, but was speaking too quitely for us halfway down the bus to hear. If she did mention the much later finish time, we didn't hear). For us, we ended up having to get off at Santa Claus Park and get the bus from there straight to the airport; we couldn't risk staying on the bus into town then riding round for 45 minutes again whilst trying to work out which of its (doubtless many) stops would be best. So our plans for a relaxed meal and a bit more pottering around town went out of the window; a disappointing and slightly stressed end to what - with better organisation & communication - could have been a lovely and seamless trip. If you put timings on your website they need to be reasonably accurate, because people rely on them. Had we known in advance how the timings were actually going to work, we would not have booked this tripWritten 2 January 2025

- mtaamcd0 contributionsReindeer experience great, but company wasnt. The reindeer experience was wonderful, but I would never recommend this company! Upon boarding bus we were told we were on a tight schedule to make husky ride. However, after reindeer experience we spent over an hour dropping off people and picking up new folks from around town. Then drove over 45 minutes for the husky to cancel the tour because we were so late. So we wasted an entire vacation day riding around on a bus and now all husky tours are full! This was the ONE experience we wanted most and now missing out the whole trip! Definitely go with another more reputable company.Written 28 December 2024
- ecywr0 contributionsTour was cancelled last min (on the way!!)The worst experience ever!!!! the bus for pick up arrived 30mins late, we were waiting outdoor in the cold. After 1 hour drive in the bus out of the city, the tour guide announced the husky farm was fully booked and our tour was simply cancelled. We were sent back to Rovaniemi. There was absolutely no compensation of any kind. We wasted half a day for nothing and the kids were very disappointing. We wrote the customer service and there was so reply.Written 28 December 2024
- mbrun120 contributionsBeautiful Lappish experienceWhere to begin?! This was a perfectly organised experience where we had the opportunity to both ride and drive husky-led sleds before meeting dozens of beautiful and friendly dogs. Following this, it was a ~20mn drive to the reindeer farm, where we shared a sled between 2 of us and were pulled by a reindeer around a frozen lake. We were then lucky enough to spend some time with a Saami woman who shared elements of her culture - including folk songs and traditional dress - with us. These were a fantastic few hours and I could not recommend them more.Written 22 December 2024

We had a great day with Sergei inTallinn! The company provided clear instructions and made getting on the ferry easy and Sergei was there to greet us as we arrived in Tallinn. He spent the majority of the day driving us from site to site and was incredibly knowledgeable and an excellent communicator. He walked us around Old Town and then gave us a little time on our own to eat and circle back to things we wanted to see more closely. Again, it was incredibly easy to get the ferry back to Helsinki.
My husband mistakenly left his cell phone in a cafe and I cannot say enough good things about how hard this company worked to help us get it back- even across the Gulf of Finland! I would 100% recommend this your for an enjoyable and informative day trip to Tallinn.

One of the highlights of our tour to Iceland 🇮🇸 & Finland 🇫🇮 in Dec 2021.
This medieval city of Tallinn is totally mesmerising... specially in a day with full snow ❄.
We walked all round the old city during the day and also had a chance to see the new area of the city.
People are very friendly and helpful.
A lunch at a Medieval Restaurant - Olde Hansa - in the city Square was also an amazing experience.
Don't forget to enjoy few glasses of Mulled wine sold in the street stalls.

From CHF 232.63?? Are you kidding me? A ferry ticket costs like 20 Euro. So if you don't want to get ripped off you just book the ticket directly and save like 200 Euro.

Is this a joke? This is a blatant rip off price, and people who posted this should be ashamed of themselves. Do yourself a favor and buy directly from the shipping company.

We did not do an organised tour. We booked tickets with Direct Ferries and were given a choice of ferries and companies for the day we requested. We chose Eckero Ferry which operates from the new, smart West Terminal . It is served by 2 tram services from the city centre, so is easy to reach.
Do arrive early as the ferry we took left 15 minutes EARLY! The crossing itself was very smooth and we had no difficulty in finding seats (although it was more of a problem on the journey back). The café was popular and the food seemed good, although we only wanted coffee. Crossing took just over 2 hours, so we were in Tallinn by 11am.
The town is an easy 10 minute walk from Terminal A.
We returned on the 18.30 ferry. The terminal in Estonia is not so comfortable, especially as we were all herded together in a hot waiting room. Having said that we were allowed to board early and we sailed a few minutes early despite the ferry being very busy. Arrived back into Helsinki early. As we were rather footsore we chose to take a taxi back to the hotel (which was out of the city centre) rather than the tram.
Would certainly recommend this as a means of reaching Tallinn.

This was a great way to get to/from Tallinn. It is recommended to be at the boat dock early as the ship holds hundreds of people. Each level of the boat has something to offer from restaurants to live entertainment. You'll be able to find a place to relax for the 2 hour tour.

I planned one day after my North Pole trip which started and ended in Helsinki to visit Tallinn. It was the perfect day. Obviously, daily trips from Helsinki to Tallin are well run machine, everything was done to smooth the experience. Despite the flood of people in both directions, there was no jams. Multiple restaurants on the boat to meet everyone's taste, accompanied by multiple tax-free shops. Tallin itself was great in early July with nice weather and a local medieval festival (please check for it, and if possible time it). The town itself deserves far more than just a day visit, but if pressed for time, this cuise is MUST! Please get your boat ticket in advance in the hotel, every receptionist will be glad to book it for you. Ticketcs are not very expensive, hence this cannot be an excuse not to taake the cruise. There are also several departing points, so check which one suits you best. Finally, upon return, I was amazed with local Finns buying crates and crates of hard liquor or beers, and bringing it in Helsinki, without ever seeing any custom officer. It was a wonderful day to remember.

Tallinn is a very beautiful and historic city. We went for one day, and found this amount of time inadequate to do Tallinn justice. Needs a few days. The ferry we went on was very crowded, and there was no outdoor space for non-smokers. The hop on hop off bus did not go to the medieval part of the city.

I was trying to do the Eckeroline ferry booking online for doing the trip on 1st Jan. The price for 2 adults and 2 children showing on Eckeroline is 40 Euros. To reserve a seat in the lounge, do they charge extra. I can see acprice of 20 Euros that they charge each way. Does it mean that seats are not guaranteed with 40 Euros fare? Could someone please advise if it is worth paying 160 Euros extra to book seats in the lounge.
Written 25 December 2018
We did not travel on Eckeroline so not sure if I can answer your question. We found our ferry to be very crowded and noisy. If we did the trip again, we would probably pay extra to have the lounge.
Written 25 December 2018
Please inform on this day trip where are we seated. Is it anywhere on the deck or are there seats reserved in the lounge? Please send answer early as we want to book on Eckero on the 25th
Written 21 August 2018
We did not book seats. You can sit where you like, although there are not enough seats for everyone inside if it is a very full ship. There are also seats on deck if the weather is fine
