Our Aurora guides use the best weather reports, cameras and lenses. Lapin Taivas is able to travel up to 400 km range with VIP Minibus to guarantee clear skies. Our tours varies between 2 to 8 hours depending how fast we can see magical lights. Professional photos are delivered to your email within 24 hours.
We offer a free flexible ticket service. Which means if its 100% cloudy all over the Lapland and our range is not enough to find a clear sky, we are able to move your booking 1 day later or earlier for a better Northern Lights weather.
We use special paid services for clouds and solar weather reports. Our guides are well trained Aurora Hunters. Nobody can guarantee a natural phenomenon but we try our best to almost guarantee it. Our team had an amazing 86% catching rate last season.

- 1After your booking, our customer service will contact to you and start providing necessary information about your stay in Rovaniemi. You are not only booking a Aurora safari but also a consultant about what to do's, where to eat and so on in the city, since we are locals. We provide the weather reports during your stay, solar activity and solar weather reports for Aurora Chase, a PDF full of information about how to layer yourself and stay warm in Lapland too! When the safari day comes, 6 hours before the excursion, Our Aurora Specialist will send you a detailed report about what we are expecting about that day. How is the cloud coverage, the solar activity, possible visibility chance and possible routes. We tend to go to Sweden to make it more fun, take some memorial pictures at the border of Sweden (No Passport Control), and chase the lights in 2 countries! Don't leave us alone in our opening year! - dangA7520QC0 contributionsGREAT EXPERIENCE!!I will start by saying that I have not done this particular tour, but I was in Rovaniemi in March of 2024 to try and see the Northern Lights and was fortunate to be out chasing with Chevo. Luck is very important when trying to see the Aurora and many factors are out of your control. One thing in your control however, is who you choose as your guide. Chevo was a fantastic guide. The Northern Lights are not always right above you…sometimes it involves some chasing to find open space or a clearing in the clouds somewhere. If there is a chance of seeing them somewhere, this man will find them! Chevo is very knowledgeable about Lapland and the Aurora, but all guides are usually knowledgeable about their tour. What you get with Chevo however, is a guide who is not only knowledgeable but who is also extremely passionate about what he does! His excitement in chasing and finding the lights is infectious…he is as happy to see them as his clients! He is also passionate about his photography, and we went home with many wonderful pictures of our experience. We also went home feeling like we were not just another paying client. Chevo made us feel like we were truly his guests …almost like it was his privilege to be taking us out and helping us witness a bucket list experience. The tour was amazing we started the hunt around 9:00 pm and made stops in different locations. The weather was cloudy yet the Aurora activity was strong, this is where our guide's experience came into action when he took us to multiple locations until we finally managed to get some astonishing portraits of the Auroras. This is a dream come true. Chevoo was super nice and experienced. He explained how the phenomena happen and gave us so much information. Highly recommended!

It has been a wonderful night! Çevikkan (the guide) is a real aurora hunter, he drove for more than 200km until we found a beautiful aurora, and took us such great photos! Kindness and professionalism granted, and a sincere enthusiasm for his job was what made me and my girlfriend love the experience even more. One of the best experiences of my life anyway.

10/10 recommend this company and experience! They were incredibly communicative, reaching out the morning of the tour with an honest update on our chances of seeing the Northern Lights. This was appreciated highly by us. They even offered a full refund if we wanted to cancel, but I decided to take my chances. and I’m so glad I did!
Chevo, our guide was fantastic! He kept us informed throughout the trip, answered all our questions about the Northern Lights, and shared in our excitement when we finally saw them! He took amazing photos and was more than happy to capture as many shots of the group as we wanted. For those of us with cameras or phones, he gave great tips on how to set them up for the best photos. Plus, there were snacks!
Overall, it was an awesome experience, and I would definitely go again!

I specifically choose this company due to its competitive prices. Although I had doubts as they are a fairly new company, my guide Chevo has absolutely delivered.
From the time of booking, the company made me feel welcome and supported; as it was my first time on such an adventure, this was quite comforting to know about the Tour. Chevo was knowledgeable, friendly, and did all he could in order for me to have the best possible chance of seeing the auroras. Seeing the Northern Lights was so magical, and to top it off, the professionalism and passion of the company made it even more special. It was truly an unforgettable experience that I will always remember. Would recommend 11/10!

We joined their tour on September 15th and didn’t have high expectations to be honest, because the weather in Rovaniemi and Lapland looked really cloudy. However, 4 hours before the tour, they reached out to us with updates and explained their plan. They mentioned finding clear skies 200 km away and delayed the start by an hour for better weather conditions. It turned out to be the right decision! We didn’t even have to go the full distance because the guide found clear skies closer. He was knowledgeable, attentive, and a great photographer!
We learned alot about northern lights, mass ejections from the sun, solar wind and magnetic fields. Our family had a wonderful time and we highly recommend our guide Chevo.

We booked this experience as our last chance to see northern lights. The guide was really nice and explained everything we needed to know. We received some advice on how to take good pictures and he took a lot of pictures for the group which are truly amazing!
With this experience, we got to chase a clear sky which made the trip even more exciting.

We went on a amazing night with Chevo! He was attentive, experienced and a good driver too! Finding the clear skies is a daily routine for them apparently. Because whole Lapland was looking cloudy but after couple hundred kilometres we found a patch and watched the amazing display of the lights! He is a great photographer too! Ask for Chevo and you won't regret! 100% recommend

I was travelling solo to Lapland in September and I always wanted to see the northern lights. First of all, September is a great time to go for Aurora tours because the weather was nice and its not that cold.
Before this guys, I found an another provider in tripadvisor and went on a tour with them. It was a bad experience.. because all we were doing was cooking some sausages under a cloudy and light polluted area... and we didn't see anything obviously.
After going through the tours, I found this one and wanted to give it a try. AND OH MY! You can literally tell the difference from the others! How their customer service reached to me, the communication, the guide... We didn't waste any time during our tour and whenvever clouds come close to us, our guide, Chevo picked another location and we started to get going right away! He was always checking the data and webcams all the time to hunt the lights! Towards to end of the night, we had the best show of The Aurora!! It was a amazing experience and thank you guys for making my dream come true. I will recommed this company to my friends and travelers that I know personally. Amazing service, amazing experience ❤️

While booking the tour I was a little skeptical because this tour looked like a new kid on the block with barely 10 reviews but thought of taking a punt after reading each of 10 reviews.
Trust me, I would have made a huge mistake had a I gone for regular tours with thousands of reviews
Our guide Chevo and his colleague Amin were completely mind blowing
Chevo is not only an expert in reading the weather and understanding the cloud movement but he knows the geography around extremely well
He not only has plan A and plan B but he will go maximum extent possible to ensure his guests have the best experience.
He is extremely passionate and to the extent that even after we saw really good view of the lights and dancing auroras he didn’t stop, he wanted to ensure that we see maximum lights and experience as much as possible.
His photography skills are a huge plus. We got such amazing pictures !

We went on the tour twice and it was an incredible experience that I recommend to everyone. The guide Chevo is very nice, a great professional and he didn't give up until he got us to see the Northern Lights! I would definitely do it again with the same company.
