About
The arctic is full of adventures in the summer season too. The beautiful phenomena of Aurora Borealis, better known as the northern lights are active here all year round. Statistically they are present approximately 250 days per year. The bright nights of the summer season just prevent them from being visible. However, when the autumn comes and nights darken, the dancing lights of the north become visible again. Jet Skis offer a unique experience in searching the northern lights and during this 3h tour you get to enjoy the special environment of the great river surroundings Rovaniemi can offer. Departure and return from the city marina. A light picnic is included in the tour.

- Departure4913187426500Great tour- value for money- Rasmus is KingWe were taken on a 3 hour tour by Rasmus. A local guy who is a master on snowmobile. He really gave us value for money! In the beginning a littlebit ‘shy’ but after seeing we were enthusiastic and were not really the slow types je opened up and showed us a great time. Great job Rasmus! And to Artic Lifestyle: ‘ hang on to this guy!’
- mamathreeboys00Great trip for adults and teenagersFantastic experience on the snowmobiles and huskies galore trip. Overall took about 3 hours, snowmobile drive for about 45 mins then husky driving, followed by hot juice and snowmobiling backwards. We’d never driven snowmobiles before but got the hang of it OK. Highly recommended.
- qaisras201600An amazing snowmobile ride!!We did a snowmobile safari and husky ride. The husky ride was great! We got to each " drive" the sled! The dogs are soo fast ! They were all amazing but my kids loved the snowmobiles so much that we booked a second round of snowmobiling. We each got our own snowmobiles. It was fantastic! We got to drive the snowmobiles on the frozen lake. Our instructors were fantastic! They was very helpful in giving us tips on riding. I highly recommend this!!
- DutchNora00Memorable and great fun!We have booked the Huskies and Snowmobiles Galore, it was great fun and well organised! Warmly dressed, with good helmets, we drove 10 km on our snowscooter over a frozen river and through a beautiful winter wonderland. We arrived in the middle of the wood where the enthusiastic huskies and their owners of hhhusky were waiting. We mushed the sleighs with 4 huskies ourselves for 5 km and had a meet & greet with the dogs (and puppies) afterwards and a hot berrydrink in the warm tent. Really a memorable trip, thanks Arctic Lifestyle and hhhusky!
- BastiH6100Great Snowmobile experienceIt was the first time with a snowmobile for both of us. If you are already in Lapland it is definitely worth the money. Hotel pick-up was on time, we received all the equipment needed (overall, helmet, gloves,..) which was also clean and kept us warm. The instructions were clear and didn’t take long, the slopes were well prepared and the two hours went over way too fast, as it makes really fun driving these skidoos. Also super nice staff. Btw.: We saw wild reindeer 🤭
- rantim201500Overall awesome experienceWe did Snowmobiling with Arctic Lifestyle company and it was heaps of fun. It was only us at this tour! So it was like a private tour. From pick-up and drop-off, equipment quality & cleanliness, friendliness of the guide to the snowmobile track everything exceeded our expectation. Best fun activity to do in winter. We may lucked out in viewing the Aurora tonight but the weather was awesome and we certainly had a great time.
- WalliAustria00Great experience! We booked a 2 hour snowmobile tour (our first time on snow mobile) and luckily we were the only guests for this tour so we had time to get used to driving. Our guide was very good and friendly and after a short while we really enjoyed the tour. The landscape is beautiful and we surely will come back for a longer tour next time!
- 552karstenn00Snowmobile Reendier Santa Claus VillageHi, we had a great trip with our guide Tuomas during the whole day. We meet beautiful places without any pressure of time. The tour started at 10am and we where back nearly 5pm full of impressions from a great winter wonderland, driving over the biggest lake in this region and feeding reendiers, driving thru the white forest ..... deep snow ... and much more. Absolutely to recommend if possible small group max. 3-4 people! Friendly guid perfect English speaking. THX Karsten & Katja
- scottpC7874DD00Awesome operation! Wound up doing four tours with these guys last week.Arctic Lifestyle / Lumi Resort was wonderful. Took the family to Rovaniemi last week and we wound up doing four tours with this outfit: Snowmobiling, Dogsledding, Reindeer Sledge RIde and a Northern Lights walk/viewing. Super-friendly people all around, A1 facilities, excellent equipment, great prices, easy hotel pickups, you name it. I would highly recommend for family outings. Lucked out with the weather (great snow and the best aurora viewing so far this season!) and we would happily go back.
- kimnL2131XL00UnsafeWe did a snowmibile tour up a fell to see Northern lights. The track was very rough with holes and the creek. At one stage the snowmobile towing the sledge containing children got bogged. They had to disengage the sledge and the children get out abd walk while they went backwards and forwards to unbog the snowmobile. This really cheqed up the spot which we were theb told to go ahead. We are both only lught and the snowmibile tipped. We ended up in muddy water. As a result I have a swollen knee and ankle and heavy flu being wet and cold for the rest of the trip. Thank you to Axle for the lend of his glove. There should have been someone to follow as we were inexperienced all other mobiles required assistance. Really poorly done, others expressed their concern about safety. Worst experience of our trip, requires somine to lead group so they know where to go, assess safety of track, suitability and experience of riders. Now I am unwell for the rest of our trip
- 334ale_s00Family snowmobile tourVery nice tour. We first did snowmobile safari followed by stop by the hut where we did some sausages and marshmallows over the open fire. Followed by snow mobile rides for the children. Our guide was Aino and she was very helpful and made every effort that we had a great time. She even drove us home after the trip, which was pleasent surprise with small children and cold weather.
- Alex_suomi00Chasing a Northern Light it is little bit overratedTrip was fun, We as group had 6-8 km ride in tundra and woods to get to Fire and back. Since we were not expert snowmobile drives, plus at evening time riding was not as difficult but i guess not importantly not to hit a tree and being in group of 15 snowmobile . you need to pay attention to other and road. My wife and myself ride 2 different mobiles ( original was take away by other couple and I think I know why (warmer on steering wheel burn my hand : ) and i could not turn it off) so in way there some body had that issue and decided to switch) Ride was fun. i wish we had more open space to increase speed and have more fun. However my kids are did not enjoy as much as we did, My youngest was told to go to sled that attach to instructors snowmobile (that was company policy) and my oldest was told to share ride with stranger (who was not able to drive it after all so she made a mistake because she would drive in both direction) but because we had driven snow mobiles in Iceland ( where my kid was seated next to adult ), she in solidarity to little sister went in sled (which was freezing and butt crushing experience). As we ask for reason not allowing a teen to ride on back on mobile with a adult we were told as policy and price on tour for children not allow them to do it. as we told them we would pay a difference on way back to office. instructors told us the was no more snowmobile, So as a group we had different experiences and emotion about a organization
- louallan00Taste of wilderness: 2 hour Snowmobiling safariAwesome morning! It was just my partner and I so we ended up having a private tour. Thanks so much to Vema for an amazing experience!
- Alex212M00Awesome day Snowmobiling!Took the snowmobile tour with Vema and it exceeded our expectations. We met the guide at the Rovaniemi office and were driven to the site of the activity. The company provided us with warm clothing and helmets for the ride. Our guide gave us all the safety information and how to drive the snowmobiles and off we were! It was only us and another couple so it was almost like a private tour! Vema was a great guide and the trail was a blast!
- SatishP47400Snowmobile ride - worth an experienceWe did our snowmobile ride thru Arctic Lifestyle. From their main office in Rovaniemi, we went to the snowmobile ride place in their vehicle. We were given a special dress there for the ride and were taken to where snowmobiles were parked. The trainer girl was extremely enthusiastic. She explained us properly the snowmobile and its required functionalities. She was going to be in a different snowmobile that was going to be the first vehicle and our four vehicles were supposed to follow her in a queue (we were seven of us, so two per vehicle). She also told us the signals to be followed if we want to seek her attention, if we want to stop, etc. When the ride started, she ensured that she pays attention to all four vehicles of ours and was very proficient at it. When any of our vehicles used to deviate, she immediately used to stop all of us, get that vehicle back on track and then restart the journey for all. When we reached at one end, she asked everyone to stop to take a break. By then we had become somewhat more comfortable and were enjoying the ride. She then asked everyone to take a U-turn and get into the return journey. Track was very good. It was snow all around and trees by the side. We enjoyed this experience very much. Kudos to t he trainer and to Arctic Lifestyle

During the day the weather forecast said it would be cloudy, so I sent messages to the company asking about the tour, nobody answered. Still, I went to the pick up place at the scheduled time. And nobody appeared to pick us up.
And I haven't had any response from the company so far.
I sent an e-mail asking about a refund, which is the least they could do, but guess what, no answer.
Terrible experience, there is absolutely no attention to the client.
