About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- _farzeenpal0 contributionsJust a tick mark.... no real experience provided, only transportDo not recommend this tour as the company takes you on a large bus to 2 spots which are just 15min from the city center ...not in a secluded area. There are no guides ... just ushers who accompany the bus... The first stop was near some lake where you wait for 20min and then they hurry to the bus to take you to the raindeer and husky farm which is all lit up ... they light a fire, give you marshmellows .. wait another 20mins and then we are off. Recommend you pick a small group provite tour, where the guides explain stuff and they are interested and make an effort for people to see the northern lights. Also a better way to see and experience the northern lights is to book on the glass igloos ... thats where we saw the lightsWritten 7 December 2024
- _farzeenpal0 contributionsA big mis-sell and cheating.. no profession guided tour provided although committed. Just a very expensive transportThe company missold the trip ... it was just transport and zoo ticket. Guided tour with a professional was communicated in the marketing brochure but the so called 'guides' were just there to count the number of passengers. when asked they mentioned they were not zooologists and to just read the signage. Very disappointing experience.Written 7 December 2024
- Trek7475630 contributions1 hour snowmobiling tripBrilliant trip amazing scenery and a break in the middle for a chance to take photos, all the staff were amazing and accommodating.Written 2 December 2024
- marierosem1890 contributionsAmazing experienceOnce in a life time experience, sleigh riding with the reindeer and husky along with a visit to santa village. Did more time though.. but enjoyed alot in -5 deg temperature.. we were provided with winter clothes which I think we would not be able survive if we dint have it.Written 24 November 2024
- bday030 contributionsGreat experience!Overall very good experience. Good amount of time at both the Husky and Reindeer farms and the rides were perfect length of time for young children. Would highly recommend.Written 24 November 2024
- 110gpp0 contributionsto improve!I would not let my children do the Elf Hat Academy experience again. You come from far away, you participate once in your life and that time and the choice of an activity that will become a brick of memory have enormous value. 30 minutes in reality were maybe 20 in which you eat a cookie and a hat is given in the general acting. Half arrived at the meeting point late (lots of people not expected, we understand but they also finished earlier), everyone smiley and nice of course but I just want to be honest and not worth the money I would say. In short, a disappointing experience, for a family that loves Christmas, the spirit and magic of the Christmas season and who had already come 15 years ago, without children and dreamed this experience. Review with the aim of saving the season for you, which I hope will help the quality of the service. we will come back for sure because after all we loved Finland, its people and the way you rules it!Written 4 November 2024
- fakeyf20240 contributionsAnything but interactiveWe paid 40e per peson for literally 20mins of simple cookie decorations in complete silence (luckily the radio was on all the time). The elf maybe said 5 sentences in total while glancing at the script at the begining and taught us 5 words in finnish (that we already knew, my kids are Finnish). There was no dancing, no singing at all. At the end of the cookie decoration she gave us simple elf hats and blank diplomas, so we can write our names and take them home... Definitely do not recommend.Written 28 October 2024
- 670nike0 contributionsWorthwhile Package- even in SeptemberWe went in September when you don’t get to do the sleigh/sled rides (so it was a little pricey without them) However, our guide Egor was very accommodating and enjoyable and gave us a few very good tips about things to experience during our visits. Highly recommend for the ease of access at the stops and having him get you to the best places at the best times.Written 15 September 2024
- Jennifer J0 contributionsAmethyst Mine Tour June 2024.This was a fun activity for everyone. The guides were helpful and informative. It would have been nice to have a bit more time, but it was worthwhile to experience.Written 19 June 2024
- lestravelstheworld0 contributionsReindeer fun!The reindeer farm was so much fun! Loved the ride, but wish it was longer. Loved being able to pet the reindeer. We learned all about the beautiful reindeer.Written 6 April 2024
- bentA8967VN0 contributionsGreat guideThe weather was cloudy and it was impossible to see the Northern Lights, our guide made sure we were well taken care of and shared some of his experience in Finland. Overall, the trip was enjoyable.Written 31 March 2024
- Daydream619006458080 contributionsCombination of several fun thingsA fun afternoon that combined a lot of activities in a short period. Very nice guide and well-organized. You really just get a taste of each activity - which I appreciated. If you want a more intense adventure, this is not the trip for you.Written 3 March 2024
- danielebT8294QU0 contributionsExpensive for what you getVery expensive for a family: for a very short experience suitable for children also adult have to pay. You learn 3 words in finnish, you can decorate a cookie with frozen decorations that doesn't work and make a dance at 40 euros each.Written 20 February 2024
- Z2737TFfernandav0 contributionsHusky and Reindeer FarmBeautiful place and very well treated animals . Great explanation about the way of living of the animals. Overall great experienceWritten 17 February 2024
- 644anaflaviac0 contributionsPerfect tour!I really love this tour! I travelled with a baby (and, guys, it was too cold for a baby) and the team was so nice with us , everybody helped us a lot! They give us clothes for the activities. It was a really nice and beautiful tour!Written 15 February 2024

This was a day trip from Norwich airport with Newmarket holidays and well worthwhile. It was expensive, especially if like me you take the whole family!!!We flew from Norwich airport at 08.00am arriving at 12.00 noon Swedish time. (The flight was just 3 hours). We spent 6 hours there during which time we had sleigh rides pulled by the reindeer, followed by sleigh rides pulled by huskies.
Our next activity was to walk through the forest guided by lights, to have a lovely warm fruit drink before continuing to the home of Father Christmas! Our grandson enjoyed being in the limelight and being given a small present before we were taken back to the centre on a motorised sleigh.
A further hour was spent sledging whilst us oldies were welcoming a hot cup of tea. At 6.00 pm, we were collected and taken the short distance to the airport, where we flew out at 8.00pm. All meals were provided and whilst these were not over indulgent, they were adequate. A hot meal was provided during both flights while a hot lunch was provided by the locals.
If, like us, you think your children no longer believe in FC, do this trip and then see what they make of it. You never know, you might even question it yourself?!!!!

An amazing day in a remote picture perfect location. Marika made our day by looking after us so well. My 8 year old was thrilled by the adventure and finding amethysts. Wonderful. Would highly recommend. It’s a long day- take snacks 😊
