- Danielle P0 contributionsFantastic trip!Me, my partner and mother in law booked the snowmobiling and northern lights trip, 2 days before. Booking was super easy, the instructions of where to be picked up was also very easy. Our guide met us at the office 10 minutes before and got us all suited up. We had to prepare for -30. It was only us 3 on this trip so it felt super personal. We drove 5 minutes to where the snow mobiles were. Lenny was absolutely fantastic at explaining how it all worked. We drove around 40 minutes to a cabin, we stopped occasionally to take pictures. At the cabin we cooked sausages and marshmallows on the fire and kept warm. We had a few opportunities to see the northern lights but unfortunately it was quite cloudy, however we had an amazing time. We then drove back to the start and we got given the opportunity to drive up to 80km/h, which was great fun. Lenny made us feel so safe and was very friendly. Definitely recommend!Written 4 January 2025
- izakrak0 contributionsFanstastic tour guide and fantastic premium combo! After a long research we booked a Premium Combo safari for all day with Arctic Lifestyle. The communication with the company when making a booking was excellent. Then once we arrived to Rovaniemi it turned out that is way below 20degrees and we were with 2 small kids age 8 and 4 and we got worried a bit. Totally unnecessary. We hit a jackpot with our tour guide Lenny, who we had just for ourselves and he spent with us a whole day and made it really very enjoyable for our kids and us. The tour started by bringing us to the company's base where we got changed into the winter clothes and our boys just got helmets, as they were already properly dressed for this cold. None of us drove snowmobiles ever before and Lenny made sure to explain to us not only how to drive but how to make it enjoyable for us. We both had our own snowmobiles to drive which was what we booked and we absolutely loved it. Lenny's tips as to how the machines behave on the snow helped us a lot and after a short while we really had a blast and enjoyed the long ride through the frozen river in a lovely wintery landscape. The kids drove together with our tour guide and they loved it! Then we arrived to the place nearby the reindeer farm where we had a short ride on a sleigh pulled by one reindeer. They had a lovely fireplace to warm up and after the ride we could go and feed the reindeers. We also got an interesting lecture inside the little house about the reindeers farm and had cookies and hot tea/juice. We couldn’t wait to jump back onto the snowmobiles again and we took our time for lovely photos and turns back to the base. In spite of the coldness we really had a great time. Lenny made sure our kids are safe and happy. After that we drove to the Santa’s Village for a lovely and scrumptious lunch buffet which was included in the price of the safari. And then last but not least the icing on the cake for me personally – the husky ride. We drove outside Rovaniemi to Huskypoint a lovely kennel where you could see that there are absolutely passionate about what they do. I drove one sleigh – their guide explains how to do it – one thing to remember not to let go of the sleigh! The huskies love running and are very happy to do it and they hate when you put on breaks. All in all this is a great safari well worth its steep price and all great activities which we wanted to do in Lapland combined in one day. Lenny our tour guide was truly exceptional. He was extremely kind and patient with our kids and we felt they were well taken care of. He really made our day. We always felt safe. Lennert also has a great personality and myself and my husband loved his companion. We truly recommend the Premium Combo with Arctic Safari and if you are lucky enough to get a tour guide like Lenny you will have an unforgettable day filled with fantastic memories!Written 18 February 2024
- Donna G0 contributionsWonderful experience in RovaniemiMy partner and I did the snow mobile and husky ride with Arctic Lifestyle. Our guide was Lenny ( Leonard) From the start, Lenny was very friendly and easy going and we had the absolute best time and highly recommend this tour There was a substantial time to enjoy the snow mobile and soak up the icy, gorgeous frozen landscape of Rovaniemi. It was very safe and Lenny explained each process thoroughly The husky ride was also something we will not forget, wish we could do it over and over again. The sleigh was surprisingly quite comfortable Definitely a highlight of our trip to Rovaniemi! We hope to come back in the future to experience it againWritten 14 January 2024

- constanzap9780 contributionsWonderfull experience!!We booked moto safary on 4Dec2023 and for me it was the best activity of our wonderfull Rovaniemi trip. Organization was great, the place for the overals, the location, the White forest...really beautifull. I want to specially thanks our nice guide: Lenny. We were a really challenging group with 6 adults and 6 children (4 to 8 years) and Lenny was simply amazing. Kind, kids friendly, patient, attentive. He absolutely made the trip as special as it was. Good guide really makes a difference for an excelent trip. Thanks!!!Written 11 December 2023
- Departure491318742650 contributionsGreat tour- value for money- Rasmus is KingWe were taken on a 3 hour tour by Rasmus. A local guy who is a master on snowmobile. He really gave us value for money! In the beginning a littlebit ‘shy’ but after seeing we were enthusiastic and were not really the slow types je opened up and showed us a great time. Great job Rasmus! And to Artic Lifestyle: ‘ hang on to this guy!’Written 26 February 2023
- mamathreeboys0 contributionsGreat trip for adults and teenagersFantastic experience on the snowmobiles and huskies galore trip. Overall took about 3 hours, snowmobile drive for about 45 mins then husky driving, followed by hot juice and snowmobiling backwards. We’d never driven snowmobiles before but got the hang of it OK. Highly recommended.Written 4 January 2023
- qaisras20160 contributionsAn amazing snowmobile ride!!We did a snowmobile safari and husky ride. The husky ride was great! We got to each " drive" the sled! The dogs are soo fast ! They were all amazing but my kids loved the snowmobiles so much that we booked a second round of snowmobiling. We each got our own snowmobiles. It was fantastic! We got to drive the snowmobiles on the frozen lake. Our instructors were fantastic! They was very helpful in giving us tips on riding. I highly recommend this!!Written 1 January 2023
- DutchNora0 contributionsMemorable and great fun!We have booked the Huskies and Snowmobiles Galore, it was great fun and well organised! Warmly dressed, with good helmets, we drove 10 km on our snowscooter over a frozen river and through a beautiful winter wonderland. We arrived in the middle of the wood where the enthusiastic huskies and their owners of hhhusky were waiting. We mushed the sleighs with 4 huskies ourselves for 5 km and had a meet & greet with the dogs (and puppies) afterwards and a hot berrydrink in the warm tent. Really a memorable trip, thanks Arctic Lifestyle and hhhusky!Written 28 December 2022
- X2321XFguilhermec0 contributionsNo showDuring the day the weather forecast said it would be cloudy, so I sent messages to the company asking about the tour, nobody answered. Still, I went to the pick up place at the scheduled time. And nobody appeared to pick us up. And I haven't had any response from the company so far. I sent an e-mail asking about a refund, which is the least they could do, but guess what, no answer. Terrible experience, there is absolutely no attention to the client.Written 10 March 2022
- BastiH610 contributionsGreat Snowmobile experienceIt was the first time with a snowmobile for both of us. If you are already in Lapland it is definitely worth the money. Hotel pick-up was on time, we received all the equipment needed (overall, helmet, gloves,..) which was also clean and kept us warm. The instructions were clear and didn’t take long, the slopes were well prepared and the two hours went over way too fast, as it makes really fun driving these skidoos. Also super nice staff. Btw.: We saw wild reindeer 🤭Written 30 December 2020
- 552karstenn0 contributionsSnowmobile Reendier Santa Claus VillageHi, we had a great trip with our guide Tuomas during the whole day. We meet beautiful places without any pressure of time. The tour started at 10am and we where back nearly 5pm full of impressions from a great winter wonderland, driving over the biggest lake in this region and feeding reendiers, driving thru the white forest ..... deep snow ... and much more. Absolutely to recommend if possible small group max. 3-4 people! Friendly guid perfect English speaking. THX Karsten & KatjaWritten 18 January 2020
- kimnL2131XL0 contributionsUnsafeWe did a snowmibile tour up a fell to see Northern lights. The track was very rough with holes and the creek. At one stage the snowmobile towing the sledge containing children got bogged. They had to disengage the sledge and the children get out abd walk while they went backwards and forwards to unbog the snowmobile. This really cheqed up the spot which we were theb told to go ahead. We are both only lught and the snowmibile tipped. We ended up in muddy water. As a result I have a swollen knee and ankle and heavy flu being wet and cold for the rest of the trip. Thank you to Axle for the lend of his glove. There should have been someone to follow as we were inexperienced all other mobiles required assistance. Really poorly done, others expressed their concern about safety. Worst experience of our trip, requires somine to lead group so they know where to go, assess safety of track, suitability and experience of riders. Now I am unwell for the rest of our tripWritten 26 December 2019
- 334ale_s0 contributionsFamily snowmobile tourVery nice tour. We first did snowmobile safari followed by stop by the hut where we did some sausages and marshmallows over the open fire. Followed by snow mobile rides for the children. Our guide was Aino and she was very helpful and made every effort that we had a great time. She even drove us home after the trip, which was pleasent surprise with small children and cold weather.Written 19 December 2019
- Alex_suomi0 contributionsChasing a Northern Light it is little bit overratedTrip was fun, We as group had 6-8 km ride in tundra and woods to get to Fire and back. Since we were not expert snowmobile drives, plus at evening time riding was not as difficult but i guess not importantly not to hit a tree and being in group of 15 snowmobile . you need to pay attention to other and road. My wife and myself ride 2 different mobiles ( original was take away by other couple and I think I know why (warmer on steering wheel burn my hand : ) and i could not turn it off) so in way there some body had that issue and decided to switch) Ride was fun. i wish we had more open space to increase speed and have more fun. However my kids are did not enjoy as much as we did, My youngest was told to go to sled that attach to instructors snowmobile (that was company policy) and my oldest was told to share ride with stranger (who was not able to drive it after all so she made a mistake because she would drive in both direction) but because we had driven snow mobiles in Iceland ( where my kid was seated next to adult ), she in solidarity to little sister went in sled (which was freezing and butt crushing experience). As we ask for reason not allowing a teen to ride on back on mobile with a adult we were told as policy and price on tour for children not allow them to do it. as we told them we would pay a difference on way back to office. instructors told us the was no more snowmobile, So as a group we had different experiences and emotion about a organizationWritten 27 March 2019

We did Snowmobiling with Arctic Lifestyle company and it was heaps of fun. It was only us at this tour! So it was like a private tour. From pick-up and drop-off, equipment quality & cleanliness, friendliness of the guide to the snowmobile track everything exceeded our expectation. Best fun activity to do in winter. We may lucked out in viewing the Aurora tonight but the weather was awesome and we certainly had a great time.

Arctic Lifestyle / Lumi Resort was wonderful. Took the family to Rovaniemi last week and we wound up doing four tours with this outfit: Snowmobiling, Dogsledding, Reindeer Sledge RIde and a Northern Lights walk/viewing. Super-friendly people all around, A1 facilities, excellent equipment, great prices, easy hotel pickups, you name it. I would highly recommend for family outings. Lucked out with the weather (great snow and the best aurora viewing so far this season!) and we would happily go back.

We booked a 2 hour snowmobile tour (our first time on snow mobile) and luckily we were the only guests for this tour so we had time to get used to driving. Our guide was very good and friendly and after a short while we really enjoyed the tour. The landscape is beautiful and we surely will come back for a longer tour next time!

Took the snowmobile tour with Vema and it exceeded our expectations. We met the guide at the Rovaniemi office and were driven to the site of the activity. The company provided us with warm clothing and helmets for the ride. Our guide gave us all the safety information and how to drive the snowmobiles and off we were! It was only us and another couple so it was almost like a private tour! Vema was a great guide and the trail was a blast!

Although we've never driven snowmobile before, we booked the longer trails tour and we had an amazing time. Very professional and friendly staff who gave clear instructions and looked after the 5 people in the group. Duration and description were also accurate. Totally recommend it!
