          Fantastic hike and guides
We were guided by Alexander and Tanja who were very helpful and very nice to talk with. They had a lot of experience and knowledge about Finland, the culture and nature. I can highly recommend them and the waterfall hike!

          A memorable family trip experience
This will remain as one of the memorable trips with family to the zoo. The main attraction of the zoo was Venus the Polar bear who seemed to be a really good mood the day of the visit. We had Tanya who was our guide tour and she was great an amazing guide and she explained so many information about the birds and animals in the zoo. A lot of discussions during the trip got to understand about finnish culture and history. Food in the park was also good. Visited the Candy store and picked up some liqourish chocolates.

Great place to visit. A terrific experience.ence
Our son told us about Ranua and we are glad he did. A fantstic opportunity to see some truly unique Arctic animals living in their natural habitat. Having a fanastic tour guide named Tania made the experience even more memorable-she was very pleasant and knowledgeable in everything to do with the Zoo. This is a place well worth visiting

          Amazing zoo experience!
This was definitely a highlight in our trip! Our guide Tanya was so amazing and knew so much of the animals there. We had the opportunity meet Venus the polar veas and get to know her story. All the animals look good and very well taken care of. The lunch provided was good and they had variety.

          Great night activity
Alex was a great guide for the night. We had a much better time than expected. The water isn't as cold as you'd think when the suit is on.

          Unique experience to try !
If you want to experience a unique finnish tradition this is the tour to do ! The sauna is cosy and warm and the view of the lake is gorgeous. We we're well taken care of and everything was clearly explained. The lake was cold but refreshing after the warm sauna. You spend two hours warming up and chilling down. Then you get to enjoy a nice and typical finnish dish, salmon. The food was very good and we got to ask questions about the way of life in Finland in winter and in summer. Overall a great and unique experience, Alex and Hanna (if i remember correctly) took really good care of us and made sure that we enjoyed the activity. I definitely recommend it ! Thanks again for everything Our best from Belgium, Fiona & François

Northern light while ice floating ! Great 2 in 1 experience 🤩
We were lucky to see the colorful Northern Lights on our first night in Lapland. Special thanks to Alex in guiding us for the whole activity and showing us every detail to feel safe and relax.

Floating in the Arctic, cookies and laughs!
What an amazing night! Had so much fun, we didn’t know what to expect but had the best time. Pedro was an excellent host and very funny and friendly! We were very lucky to have such an amazing bunch of people on our tour. We didn’t see the Northern lights but saw a very faint green glow which we were adamant was the lights, much to Pedro's amusement!! The warming blueberry juice and gingerbread cookies were a big hit! Thank you for such an incredible evening guys

          Cool experience … literally 🥶
After reading rave reviews about peoples experiences we were super keen to give the float a try and whilst our experience was slightly different to those I had researched it was still an enjoyable and unique one. Our guide Noah was nice and helpful but we did not have the warm fuzzy homely experience following the float listed in other peoples reviews. Perhaps our group was too large? We were separated into 2 groups: French speaking (10 ppl) and not-French speaking (8 ppl after 2 people pulled out before we got on the mini bus). This was a good decision as many people bunched up around each other and it looked more like dodgem cars than a quiet and private floating experience. I was in the second group, and we only had to wait 20-30mins before we could kit up and walk down to the lake - it would seem not many people last very long in the icy water. Most of our group were out of the water within the first 10mins, the suits do indeed keep you dry (provided you don’t flail around in them) but it didn’t prevent the coolness from hitting you everywhere the water touched your suit. I engaged some serious yogic deep breathing and was able to put it out of my mind to enjoy a blissful float for 30mins - 20 of which I had the lake to myself. The night we did our float was cloudy with not a star to be seen and no northern lights - this experience would have been out of this world if there had been something other than blackness / grey clouds to look at - but that’s nature for you!

          Don’t miss this!
Traditional Finnish wood sauna was amazing! The ice plunge was worth it, difficult but each time got easier. It was really interesting to learn how saunas are a way of life for the Finnish people. As well as the health benefits for both saunas and cold plunges. Then they prepared a delicious salmon dinner. Highly recommend!

What a great evening! If you want a unique experience that you will always remember this is for you. After warming up in the wood sauna, we all took a dip in the freezing lake. It was so refreshing and invigorating - we couldn't believe how good we felt afterwards. The evening concluded with a delicious salmon dinner. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We had a great evening with Tanya. The sauna experience was amazing - traditional finish sauna close to the lake. The surrounding was breathtaking. The dinner was delicious.. We recommend it strongly to everyone in Lappland. /Maya and Javi

This is absolutely amazing!! The sauna is traditional wood fire with hot stones. Very secluded and private location. There’s frozen lake you can dip into as well.
And it finished with a very traditional meal in a proper Finnish house.
Had a very very good time. Cannot recommend enough.
We only had 4 people in the whole group and it was perfect.

We absolutely loved this experience. The host was very welcoming and had lots of interesting things to tell us about finish culture. The setting was very scenic and traditional. Once we plucked up the courage for the dip into the lake we loved it and ended up going back for more! Very fun experience.

The most amazing experience in Lapland! We were warmly welcomed and had the most relaxing sauna with lake dips. We felt the true authentic Finnish sauna experience. It was incredible. Follow that with and amazing traditional meal served in cozy surroundings. Alex & Tanya were wonderful hosts. We cannot recommend this enough, you will not be disappointed.

I highly recommend this tour! Not only is it fun to sit in the sauna and jump in the pond (it sounds scary with the arctic temperatures but you can do it), Alex and Tanja were so knowledgeable on topics such as the Northern Lights, traditional foods (it was delicious), culture and so much more. I think what really makes this experience above and beyond is how personal you feel though. We went in a small group of 8 and it makes all the difference. Sign up for this tour, you won't regret it!

I went here with my 16 year old son and we had a great evening. We went in sauna and in the cold lake and in the snow! A lot of fun. Then we were served nice, smoked salmon. We felt very welcomed and would go there again.

I just got back from the most amazing winter evening experience! Our guides Pedro and Tanja were absolutely wonderful! We did sauna and dip into the lake 4 times! Had the most delicious smoked salmon dinner with glogi and a great, educational conversation with Pedro. I will be coming back in the summer and I hope Pedro and Tanja will be here! Thank you for one of the best evenings of my life!!!!

It was really amazing tour. Alex and Tanya were very friendly with us, they get a especial experience. Tour consist in a really hot sauna that tou learn how to use to modulate the heat, when you are ready you must go out to play with snow, take photos or, if you are a hero like us, take a bath in an almost frozen lake. After that they bring us a really amazing dinner in a typical cottage. They offer this activity for small groups, we where 4 people. That offers the possibility to interact with lappish wildness which is amazing. Thank you very much and we hope see you soon.

My wife and I had a great time with our hosts. The sauna they had was authentic and beautiful and we only shared it with 2 other people, so the environment was nice and not crowded but fun and friendly. They cooked a very nice salmon dinner with a delicious dill onion sauce that I need to find the recipe for.
