I was so lucky that on the activity I was alone with Hugo, the professor 👌🏻.
We went to the river, inside the forest and up in the mountain.
Damn it, it was the best experience I had ever. Putting the snowmobile at its maximum at the river, sliding between the trees in the mountain... we did like 30 km in 2 hours.
I highly recommend it and if I come back I’m gonna do it again for sure.

Martin and Anna were friendly and patient in teaching us the nooks and crannies of how to operate the snowmobiles. They also showed great concern for our safety, especially since this is the first time on such snowy terrain. We were glad that the guides gave us a short break too to conserve our energy before riding again - would definitely love to experience it again the next time we visit Finland. :)

Our family truly enjoying the snowmobile experience and the beautiful scenery of Lapland, Rovaniemi.
The instructors, Martin and Anna have been very professional and always ensure the safety for the group members.

Forget this company and also the tour. It is a real turist invasion, more than 20-30 people of each group, you can not enjoy the trip. If you would like to feel how Lapland is look like and feel the local people hospitality never go with this company. Take care which webpage you book because they are advertising but under another name of Agencies... For them the most important is the income!!!

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Sorry to hear about your unhappy experience about the tour you refused to join. I understand your frustration about the big group size during the high season (in fact, there were 17 people on that tour, or 7 snowmobiles + a sledge for kids in that case). It may feel like a lot at first, but with 2 guides it goes very smoothly, and our guides often split the group after the start so that everyone can get the most out of the ride.
For when the group size gets too big, we normally open a new departure, exactly so that we don't end up with 30 people in one snowmobile safari. We also give an option to do our safaris private, if you want to ensure there are no other people on the tour.
Didn't quite understand what you mean by "advertising under another name". We operate and advertise by our Safartica brand. Some online travel agencies/marketplaces (who sell activities) do not always clearly state the name of the service provider. Maybe that is what you meant?
We are not an NPO, so income is of course important (otherwise we wouldn't be able to provide the service), but even more so we care about the service quality and customer experience we provide. That's why we thank you for your valuable feedback that helps us improve.

I have been living here for 6 months and thanks to Veera we could see the best views I have ever seen in Rovaniemi. She was also very helpful. She attended us with happiness and sweetness. My all family of 8 agree on this. Thank you!
And we did five tours more, ice floating, huskies and snowmobile we agreed on, were the best valued by us. To leave one we would have left the reindeers tour because they go too slow.
Also, we had Nico as our driver a couple of times and we would have loved to have him a tour guide too!

Way less people at once (we were like 20 snowmobiles). Because like that you always have to wait and care for the slow ones. And you always had to stay in line like in kindergarden. But the place we went was very beautiful and the guides were nice as well.

All staffs at Safartica know well to welcoming guest, not like a provider near Safartica office.
Mikhail is our snow mobile tour guide. He is nice, helpfull, and take care his member tour very. He always check whether we are ok.

First off, we would like to thank our guides Petteri and Jarvi (we think that was his name), you guys were awesome!
After the initial procedures (self-liability, instructions, giving out clothes...) we went to the snowmobiles. We had a crystal clear night with full moon which made it even more magical. I really enjoyed it, though it was a bit slow, due to inexperience of some members, but nothing you can do here. Road takes you through the frozen river and woods. The bbq was nice, but the office did not mention to the guides that we would prefer a vegeterian menu, but the blame is on the office, not on our guides. After the bbq we mentioned if there is a possibilty of 2 groups (slow and quick one) and our guides did exactly that. We sped up to almost 100 km/h to release some adrenaline :)
I think that if you are able to listen and communicate like a normal person, your trip can be really really good! Guides are super flexible, so be not afraid to ask them anything. They can't read minds and lashing out on them through reviews won't improve your experience.
PS: Bear in mind that it is better to pay 15€ instead of 900€!

Had a lot of fun on this tour. The snowmobiles require a bit of work to steer until you get onto some open snow. As a complete beginner, it was a little daunting until I relaxed into it. This shorter tour was just enough for me. We had 2 guides, David and unfortunately, I did not get the name of the other. Both were excellent, though.
