Great relaxing trip in beautiful lake Saimaa. Arto was a great host, and he was able to share with us a lot of information about the lake and about Finnish culture. He even played a traditional song with the accordion. Thanks to his electric boat, the trip was very comfortable (hardly any noise, and no fumes). All in all, a great experience. As a bonus, Arto's English was perfect and he was very flexible arranging a slightly different hour of departure to help with our schedule. Our kids had a great experience also, and Arto was very kind with them and let them pilot the boat for a short time.

In August 2023 we joined a seal safari by ecoboat. We spent three wonderful hours on Lake Saimaa and felt really close to this piece of paradise. Arto is a very hospitable person (we even had a little coffee/ tea break :). He gave us insight into the life of the Finnish Norppa, the bird species and the region in general. Fortunately, we even spottet a Norppa, some Fisheagles and Swans. We were impressed by Arto‘s knowledge and enjoyed peaceful Lake Saimaa a lot! Elisabeth & Anton

Very nice experience with Arto ! The electric boat is perfect way to enjoy the peace of Saimaa lake. The tour is 1h20 ,which is perfect to do with young kids. Arto explained us lot of things about Saimaa and also the finnish culture. I definitively recommend.

We booked this trip to see a glance of Saimaa ringed seal knowing that this time of the year it would be very difficult to see one. We were more than happy with the tour. It was excellent. We did not see the seal but saw birds like Kalasääski, Osprey, and its nest. The quiet lake scenery with a beautiful sunset was superb. Arto was an excellent guide and gave us a lot of information with some great pictures and videos. A silent electric boat was very nice. Thank you Arto! We will return in May 2024.

We booked the Saima seal trip and were not disappointed since we got to see some seals. The boat is electric so very quiet which made the trip even more enjoyable since we don't like noisy motor boats. The guide tells many interesting stories so that you're always entertained and the coffee break was lovely. We highly recommend this trip if you are in the area!

Amazing tour with a lot of information provided by Arto! We managed to see the seal 3 times (unfortunately only in the water and not laying on a stone, but still). Really cool to see an animal that is that rare. Also, coffee and pastries were provided for a coffee break in between. Arto was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would highly recommend the tour! :)

We saw Saimaa ringed seal (saimaannorppa) and a nest of Osprey (kalasääski) with two adult birds and one chick. There were binoculars on the boat that passengers can borrow. The skipper Arto was very nice and had great stories about the area. The electric boat was so quiet, a great alternative to motorboats. Great way to get out to lake Saimaa if you don't have time for a longer cruise or paddling.

Great, very well arranged & hosted experience. We succeded to see a Saimaa Seal twice. The information, experiences & stories provided and told by Arto would only have been worth the Cruise. In addition the Lake Saimaa sceneries and nature we saw was very beatifull and unique.

Mr Arto, the guide showed a great interest and love for the nature. He entertained our small group with interesting stories, music and coffee service. Nice time on an electric boat, quiet and great to be on the water. The skipper /owner is super friendly, entertaining and accommodating. Saw an osprey nest with parent feeding the babies some fish. Beautiful trip on lake Saimaa is easy to book and get to right on the dock by the fish truck.

Besides the beautifull view of the lakes with its islands, we enjoyed the information we got and the nice atmosphere in the boat. We learned a lot about Finland and the seals. We were lucky to see 2 seals. A very nice experience!

Great way to see the lake and possibly ringed seals. The boat is sturdy and silent. The tour guide, Arto, was a warm host and we received a good set of information about the lake, the area and these special animals.

Amazing Ecoboat, very friendly and knowledgeable guide who made us feel at home and answered any questions we had (as the only non-Finnish on the tour!). Highly recommend!

Even though we unfortunately had no luck with a seal sighting: The boat trip was a highlight of our Finland trip, we had such a good time. Overall exciting and interesting!
