What to expect
Your tour begins at Torvehallerne market on Frederiksborggade Street. Follow your guide through Torvehallerne, a market with more than 60 stands. Your guide weaves your group through the crowds, so you can sample foods at some of the very best ones. After your time at the market, journey on to a nearby restaurant. Pop in, and sit down for a main-course dinner. Sip on a glass of wine (or juice) as you continue to get acquainted with Danish dishes. Your last stop of the evening is at a microbrewery. Taste beer, and indulge in a dessert. Your guide leaves you at the microbrewery, unless you’d prefer he or she take you back to the starting point of the evening—Torvehallerne market. Note: If you have any specific food-related requirements or allergies, please note them at the time of booking.

Fantasy Food Tour
Oct 2019 • Couples
This trip was amazing. We started off in the food hall for a variety of starters with stories behind them all. We then moved onto a restaurant for the main course and then a bit of a walk to the dessert in a brewery with accompanying beer.
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and we definitely recommend it. We saw more of the city than we would have done otherwise which was great.
Thank you Kristina for a lovely entertaining evening.

Fantastic Adventure
Aug 2019
Our guide Maria took us on a wonderful evening food adventure.
We learnt so much of Danish local cuisine, culture and historical events relating to the area we walked during the tour.
The tastes and variety were endless and oh so mouth watering.
We loved Maria's passion for the whole subject of Danish food and for wanting to make every aspect of Danish life an environmental example to other countries.
A tour certainly not to be missed.

Sharing the passion and delight in innovative cuisine
May 2019 • Couples
This was an excellent experience in sharing our guide, Maria’s passion for Danish cuisine. We met Maria at the fabulous food halls and there began a delightful adventure as we moved about tasting and learning about the food culture in Denmark. We certainly ate and drank well and finished up strolling to a micro brewery for a divine dessert and sampling the beers that surprisingly suited it!

Wonderful private 21st birthday tour
Apr 2019 • Family
Favorite tour! Maria was very knowledgable and energetic when she took us around Copenhagen. We loved all the apps, the dinner, the drinks and the dessert. She really went out of her way to make my daughters birthday extra special. We lucked out with a private tour and we couldn't have asked for a nicer night to walk around. Well worth the price. You won't regret it!

Fabulous Way to Learn about Copenhagen Food Scene
Oct 2018 • Couples
We had a wonderful time with our guide, Maria. We happened to choose an evening when it was only us and one other gentleman. We had a guide in training so there was no lack of attention. We loved the tour of the Food Hall, Farmer's Market, dinner at Olives and the visit to the Microbrewery for a flight of beers and dessert. We enjoyed the samples so much that we went back the next morning to buy more cheese, chocolates, some of the fruits and just spend more time exploring. The Food Halls were a great place to visit but they were even better because Maria taught us so much about the Danish plan to improve the quality of their eating, the dishes they serve and how they educate their families to be more "farm to table" conscious. The cost is a bit high but we felt it was more than worth it. With less than a day in Copenhagen this time, we felt we had a very wonderful and unique experience.

Wouldn’t call it gourmet
Aug 2018 • Couples
We enjoyed the market tour and dinner, but was a bit disappointed. We sampled some unique cheeses, but the other aspects were pretty ordinary. I’m not sure I would recommend this outing, though we really liked the guide!

Jun 2018 • Solo
Was by myself in Copenhagen and had done a food tour in Vienna so decided to do one here. Maria was great. Tour started in open air market sampling local cheeses from one vendor to locally made products from another vendor. Risotto from another. Some fancy chocolates. We walked to the dinner which was at a Michelin rated restaurant. and for dessert, was 2 fabulous treats with a 3 beer tasting. Food was great. Easy walking. Meeting point was right off Metro stop. It was a nice evening so walked back to my hotel.

We were a group of 6 and organised an extra tour for our group on a Friday night with Maria. She was informative and funny and we learnt a lot about Danish culture as well as tasting an amazing array of local produce. It was a great introduction to Copenhagen and would recommend it to all my friends and family.

Much more than a Food Tour
May 2018 • Couples
Maria the guide for this tour is extremely knowledgeable and entertaining about not only the food, but the background and the history of the food samples provided.
The foods we tried were varied, very tasty and were quite surprising.
In her detailed explanations Maria also provided a great insight into Danish history and culture, which was more comprehensive than most tour guides.
She has great sense of humour and many anecdotes, that made for an informative entertaining evening.
Would highly recommend.
