We did several day trips from Athens during our week there, and this trip was a particular highlight. Yannis was a very friendly and hospitable guide - he felt more like a long lost friend or family member than a guide even. He started us off with some special bakery treats typical of the area, and the rest of the day reflected that care and attention to a personalized tour. He added stops at several points of interest beyond the baseline itinerary, tailoring the time and depth of description to our engagement. There was an incredible lunch place along the way, and the Acropolis in Corinth is perhaps one of the hidden gems in Greece that no one seems to know about! We were blown away by the history that Yannis brought to life for us. And he even showed us a few local sights of interest that are more modern. He very generously included a stop for a fresh dip of our toes in the water at a beach on the way home. The total time went much beyond what was scheduled - at our initiative since we were so interested in everything he shared - and we ended the day feeling very fulfilled. Highly recommend this trip if you want to see some authentic history and a slightly less trafficked / typical tourist site. Thank you Yannis!

This tour was amazing!!! I would recommend this private tour to anyone who loves history and wants to explore Corinth in a way you could never do on your own or in a tour bus. Tas was a wonderful guide and his knowledge, passion and enthusiasm for history is obvious from the 1st minute through to the last.

We are finishing a 2 week vacation where we've taken tours in Naples, Rome and Athens. This tour was the best of them all! The conversation, history and atmosphere as we toured historical sites was authentic, stimulating and well worth the cost.

We never felt rushed and had the perfect amount of time to explore areas on our own before meeting back up with Tas. The food we had at the end of the tour was the best Greek food we've had so far!!

Instead of finishing the day exhausted and overwhelmed - we finished the day feeling as if we had spent a casual day with a good friend exploring a beautiful place. Perfect!!!

We had a great day with Tas learning about Corinth, Isthmus, and other nearby historical sites. Tas promptly picked us up from our Airbnb and was very warm and inviting all day. The van was very comfortable and clean, we had a group of 4 tall adults who fit comfortably. Tas told us about himself and all about Greece, and seemed like I genuinely enjoy spending time on the tour as much as we did. Would highly recommend this as a way to get out of the city and see more of the beautiful scenery southwest of Athens!

Our tour guide Tas was amazing with his knowledge of Greek history and his ability to make us feel like family. We have a new perspective on the biblical history of Paul while he was in Corinth as well as the history of this wonderful country. We spent a fantastic day riding with him on a day that we will remember for many years to come. He made us feel very comfortable by bringing us bottled water and giving us food recommendations that were unbelievable. He was so kind, he even got me a delicious Greek coffee when I was dealing with jet lag. We highly recommend his tours.

Brilliant. Just what I wanted and so much better than driving ourselves. Yanis was knowledgeable, friendly and caring and tailored the tour for our family (including a beach stop). Very comfortable vehicle and safe driving! We saw so many things and learned so much because of the tour and we did everything at our pace. The sights themselves are fascinating and a full day tour is fully justified.
If you want a tour guide to accompany you in the archaeological sites, this is additional cost, but I do not think necessary as Yanis had briefed us very well and there is good information at the sights.
Whilst these tours are not cheap, I feel it was money well invested and will be recommending this to everyone.

Awesome trip! Our guide George took care of our family of five on a private tour - from morning treats to bottled water to being flexible in how we wanted to plan our day in Corinth. He was a great story-teller with the background history on the importance of Corinth to the ancient world. The acropolis in Corinth was an unexpected surprise as to the architecture and the incredible views. A lot of discussion on the activities of St. Paul in the area was another highlight.

We had Tas as our tour guide and his knowledge of the area, the country and all the eateries made this an incredible experience! We have always wanted to walk where the Apostle Paul walked. Tas went out of his way to take us to Cenchera, the beach where Paul fulfilled his Nazarite vow, cutting his hair just before setting sail to Ephesus with Priscilla and Aquila. Tas took us to Acro-Corinth where we could see the whole city from this ancient fortress where the Temple of Aphrodite once stood. He took us to a special church with mosaics of the life of St. Paul and translated their pictographs for us. Finally, he took us to a wonderful cafe overlooking ancient Corinth and afterwards waited for us while we explored the incredible museum as well as the marketplace with the Temple of Apollo and the very Bema (judgement seat) where Paul stood before the Roman proconsul Gallio (Seneca's brother) and defended his faith before the Sanhedrin. It was the most incredible day! We are so grateful. Take Tas anytime you can!

I’m 51 and I traveled with my best friend to Greece (our first trip). This trip was initially scheduled for May 2020 and got canceled (just like everyone else’s trips did). We selected the Corinth tour as we are interested in the history of Apostle Paul. We were greeted by our driver and unofficial guide Lefterry in a clean and comfortable Mercedes. Terry provided us with water for the entire trip (and lots of bathroom stops). The 2 hour drive to and from the tour went by very quickly as we spent time talking about Greece and life in general. We were able to see the Corinth Canal, Corinth Acropolis, Corinth Museum, Corinth Archeological site where the Apostle Paul was identified preaching the gospel. We also saw part of a church that’s underwater (attached to Paul’s influence). We enjoyed this tour because our tour guide is incredibly knowledgeable, talented and interesting. He also took us to a couple of extra stops outside of the tour. I highly recommend this company for all your tours in Greece.

Yannis was our tour guide and he by far exceeded our expectations of what to expect with this tour! Sometimes with historical tours you never know how engaging it’s going to be, but this tour was by far one of our favorite things we did in Greece (our stops included Athens, Crete, and Santorini). He picked us up promptly and had even stopped to get us delicious Greek baked goods before our tour started. We thought this was such a thoughtful way to start the tour off on a good note. He provided us with cold water throughout the day. But, that wasn’t even what made the tour special with Yannis. He was BEYOND knowledgeable about the history of Greece, Corinth, and all of the sights we stopped at along the way. He answered ALL of our questions thoroughly. It was clear that he has done lots of research and is continues to grow his knowledge on this country. We stopped at all of the stops mentioned in the itinerary above and more!! There was also a spot in Modern Corinth that we wanted to see that wasn’t planned for and he went out of his way to take us there and make sure we had good pictures. He went as far to tell us the history of this spot. He knew this area well and was able to stop at the other spots and tell us about new excavation areas and the history behind them. We were exhausted by the end and even went a little over our time, but I still wish we would have had more time! We were with him the whole day and by the end we wanted to adopt Yannis into our family. He was very warm and welcoming which, in my opinion, was what set this tour apartment from the others that we did on our vacation. We thought we were getting a tour on Ancient Corinth, but we walked away with so much more.

Note: we were very excited to see the Acrocorinth, but we didn’t know exactly what to expect as far as exploring the area. Just know that you could stay here for HOURS if you wanted to. My husband and I wanted to go to the top as we love hikes and we were able to. We weren’t prepared for the Greek sun, so make sure to wear sunscreen!! Also, wear comfy shoes!!

Our tour was excellent from beginning to end. The day of our tour hit a high of about 41 degrees Celsius (~105 degrees Fahrenheit). Tas rearranged the schedule so that we could avoid some of the heat and attraction closures.

In the morning, Tas came with cold water and snacks, and made a great stop for coffee (Rose Blossom/Dimello) near the isthmus canal and took us to an amazing tavern overlooking the ancient Corinth archeological site (Taverna Gemelos). He even took pictures of us and sent them to us at the end of the fabulous day!

He was extremely responsive to our family's needs. My mother has mobility issues and my 9-year old niece has a short attention span, and he was able to make appropriate adjustments to the pace and details to share. He treated us like family.

We learned so much along the tour, and Tas was so accommodating. It has been the highlight of our trip to Greece so far!!!
