Itinerary

This guided tour begins in central Lisbon. Greet your guide and board an air-conditioned minivan destined for Sintra. Your first stop is Pena National Palace, where you can explore the neighboring Pena Park and take a guided tour of the colorful palace.

After ample time to photograph the UNESCO World Heritage Site, take advantage of free time to wander the historic center of Sintra and purchase lunch (own expense). Once you’ve reconvened with your guide, return to the coach and travel past Quinta da Regaleira and the Palace of Monserrate.

Stop at the cliffside lookout point of Cabo da Roca, Europe’s westernmost point, and pay a brief visit the Hell’s Mouth (Boca da Inferno) and Cascais, a charming seaside resort. Here you can enjoy some time to stroll along the beach.

Your tour concludes at your original departure point in Lisbon.

A Really Nice Trip !!!!!

The trip is designed well, with just the right balance of guided and free time. Our guide, Andre, was both knowledgeable and fun. Wish we could have spent a little bit more time at the spectacular Cabo Da Roca though :)

No, you don't get to see all three palaces and it was so crowded with tourists, you hardly got to see the rooms! Definitely didn't have very much time because of the crowds!

Yes, ample time. From Pena Castle it's a short drive to Sintra town, with enough time for lunch and a visit to the National Palace. Have a great time!
