Absolutely the worst. We booked a private boat for group of 9 to have a bachelor party, 2 months before. We of course got an email confirmation and paid up front about 600 euros.
When we arrived on the day at the time, first the staff said the boat was not ready, and started making jokes about it even though nothing was funny. Then waiting for another 15 minutes, the staff onsite told us that the system got double booked "somehow" and there is no boat at all. Instead of apologizing, they kept blaming on the "system", so irresponsible and unprofessional. Only after I expressed my anger and the seriousness of the problem, the staff apologized.
This company literally ruined the whole weekend for my group, as none of us even lives in Amsterdam, and we traveled a long just to be at the site on time.
I would never recommend this boat company to anyone who is planning to have a great time with your friends/family. Seriously total waste of money and time. The most unprofessional leisure company EVER.

I want to start by expressing our sincere apologies for the disappointing experience you and your group had with our boat service during your recent visit to Amsterdam. We deeply regret the inconvenience and frustration you encountered, and we understand the significant impact this had on your weekend.
Upon reading your feedback, we are genuinely concerned about the series of events that transpired on the day of your booking. Your description of the situation is both disheartening and alarming to us, as it falls far short of the service standard we strive to provide to all our customers.
We would like to thoroughly investigate what went wrong and why such a distressing situation occurred, especially after you had made a reservation well in advance and received a confirmation. Our intention is to rectify the issues you faced, prevent similar incidents in the future, and regain your trust in our services.

Not what we was expecting for a Stag party ! We was expecting music and it to be party boat ? we was told as it travels through residential areas we wasn't allowed any music on. Same if we where to get to boisterous.
So to advertise it as a party boat/ Booze Cruise was a little misleading. Also the range of drinks was Heineken or Heineken or soft drinks. The main grip was we booked for 16 people and reduced it to 13 as people dropped out and was only given 75% of the money back.
I questioned this and was told there cancelation policy was that if if the cancellation is made less than 1 month prior to to your booking .BUT as we hade booked three weeks before our date, so how could we ever get a full refund Also as we where the full occupancy of the PRIVATE boat , It was not as we where depriving other people booking the space.

Starting with the positives: our tour guide was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable. We lucked out on the weather so it was nice to be on an open-air boat.
Unfortunately, the rest of the guests on the boat were kind of rowdy and chatty and after trying a few times to get our attention and tell us about the city, our tour guide gave up. I don't blame him. So it became more of a one-hour boat ride with drinks rather than a tour.

We arrived on time and found someone working for Starboats. He told us to wait a few minutes because the boat was still arriving. After a while, when the boat actually should already have left, we were still on the streets, looking for I guess his name was Axl because, no boat. Someone from Friendship boat tours told me Axl was leaving and I saw him sitting on his bike. I yelled at him what we were supposed to do and he pointed at a boat that was going to leave like 25 meters away from were he told us to wait. We hopped on the boat, just as it was going to leave. The captain was a young man and the guide a young lady. She pointed out that we could drink everything we want. There was wine, beer, soft drinks on the table and in boxes on the floor. Not very convenient and elegant. I don't drink soft drinks, because I don't like them and it was a bit too early for us to drink alcohol. I spotted some water in a plastic big bottle, if I have to take a guess filled at the tab and it was sitting in the sun. So, this meant that I paid extra and now I am thirsty. The guide was a very likeable young woman, but her guiding was a bit off point, for us. I am not that much interested in de house boats, the prices and which ones sank. I am not interested in the boat where Golden Earring was the owner of and why the boat has tinted windows. Although entertaining, I am more interested in the history of the buildings, canals and their bridges. The balance was off. I have visited Amsterdam many times, so I know most of the history, but it is fun to learn something new. However, my niece was a first time visitor and I had to tell here what I knew from previous tours. I did this in Dutch, because our guide only spoke English. Not a problem for me, but it would have been nice if she asked whether she had to also tell everything in Dutch. My niece her English is less advanced. The fact that smoking everything, except crack on the boat was allowed was also not a plus. So, I am sorry to tell that for us this was an overpriced experience.

Views were really good, starting point was easy to find. Unlimited drinks was wine, beer and soft drinks, good value for price. Staff was friendly and good, gave allot of historic information. No music was available, best to bring your own portable speaker.

Really enjoyed this trip - when reading the reviews I wasn’t expecting anything special.
However, I was totally wrong - our tour guide was so fun, the customers on the boat were up for a good time and we drank as much as possible.
We went wen it was raining but whilst on the boat it stopped so we had the windows down and to see all of Amsterdam lit up was really pretty!
Would definitely recommend for a couple / a group of friends.
No music was allowed to be played but that didn’t stop us from having fun a fab time.

Really disappointed, Appreciate it was raining which required them to put the roof cover on.. but we could not see any thing at all through the ‘.Windows’ the driver of the boat has to open a window on top and loads of the passengers got soaked, he proceeded to put up an umbrella and keep popping his head through the whole.. there was no interesting talk about the buildings (that we couldn’t see) or about the area we was passing. I understand it states it’s a booze cruise but if they was not going to talk about the area they may as well of put some music on rather than in the passengers just siting staring at each other!! Total waste of an hour!

Unfortunately we had a very poor experience this time around. My friends and I did this cruise 4 years ago and it was brilliant, so I booked again for my latest visit to Amsterdam.
I don’t know if they double booked but we were relegated to a tiny boat which was basic to say the least. It was fully covered and cramped. Not like the boats shown in the pictures.
Further more we paid for unlimited drinks but we’re met with an icebox of beer but no ice. Unlike the previous experience I had with this company we could not move about the boat or enjoy the beautiful weather as it was fully covered.
When we arrived for our booking the nicer boat was finishing with the earlier group and had been set up for what we assumed was our group, but after some discussions by the staff between each other we were shown to another boat, with only a driver and no other staff again unlike what is advertised.
Overal a disappointment experience, especially after such a positive one the first time around. We might as well have just bought some boxes of beer our selves and sat by the river and it would have been the same experience but a lot cheaper.
If your running a cruise company all the baits should be to a similar standard otherwise they should have different price brackets.

Hi, they send you the details in the confirmation email after the payment. We were picked up at the Jungle docks which the address was Amstel 178, 1017 AE Amsterdam, Netherlands. Ideal location and taxi dropped us off right outside.
