Amsterdam Countryside Bike Tour Including Cheese Tasting and Clog Demonstration
US$38.04
Overview
Cover more of Amsterdam's countryside in far less time on a stress-free bike tour that includes bike and helmet rental. Unlike exploring by coach, a bike tour grants you access to areas inaccessible by traditional tour vehicle. Plus, if the weather gets rainy, you can stay dry with a rain poncho given out by your guide.
What to Expect
Meet for this Amsterdam bike tour in central Amsterdam. Get set up with a bike and helmet for the ride through the countryside.

Start by biking through the city, along canals, and over bridges. Along your route, your guide tells you interesting facts about the area’s history and culture. As you make your way into the countryside, catch sight of houseboats and locals fishing.

One of your stops is at a farmhouse. Try cheese that’s made there, and watch a clog-making demonstration before stopping at the iconic De Riekermolen windmill for a photo op.

On your bike ride back to the city center, pass through some of Amsterdam’s parks including Vondelpark, Amsterdamse Bos, and Beatrixpark.

Your guided tour ends when you make it back to the city, and turn in your bike and helmet.

Mike's Bike's countryside tour- A load of fun for the whole family.

I was dubious about this tour as it sounded like the major objective was to sell cheese and clogs at a local farmer's establishment. Nothing could be further from the reality of the tour. We had a great guide who knew Dutch and Amsterdam's history...More

Outstanding way to get a feel for Amsterdam

My daughter and I were delighted with the bike tour. It was enlightening and very enjoyable - both in the city and beyond. We got great pictures and fantastic memories. We would thoroughly recommend it.

We took this tour with our family of 4, including 13 and 16 year olds. The biking was easy and the route beautiful. Our guide, Matias, was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Biking along the Amstel River and through the polders were the best parts of the...More

No, nor do you see the around Amsterdam. The biking is hectic and doesn’t really allow for it.
