Walking tour round Lucca
Sep 2018
Our guide was excellent. Very knowledgeable about history, customs, best ways to approach buildings in terms of camera angles, local food and drink, etc. Well worth the £18 fee. 2 hours, but we always stopped in the shade. We gained a lot of knowledge in a short time, which enabled us to have a much better stay and exploration in Lucca.

Great way to learn about Lucca
Aug 2018
We can wander around these wonderful old cities for hours and not know any more about them than we did before, OR we can take a two hour tour with a fabulous knowledgeable guide, like we did with Antonella, and be enriched by the experience for the rest of the trip. This was a very affordable way to learn about the history and culture of Lucca, one of our favorite cities in Italy, and I highly recommend it! She was a superb guide!

Walking Tour of Lucca
Sep 2013 • Couples
My wife and I met Antonella in Lucca and had an amazing 3 hour tour of the city with her. She is knowledgeable and very articulate. She explained the history of Lucca in a way that was easily understandable. During the tour Antonella took us to a shop for coffee. This turned out to be a wonderful experience. The shop owner was very friendly even though he did not speak English.
Although at first we thought that 3 hours might be overwhelming, the time seemed to fly by and we were sorry to say good by (Ciao) to Antonella.

Tour Of Lucca With Antonella
Aug 2012 • Family
I arranged a personal tour of Lucca for my family (Myself, Wife and two girls aged 11 and 13) with Antonella. It was simply fab. Antonella was very helpful in advance, met us on time and created a two hour walking tour for us that was full of amazing information about this wonderful city. We walked around the wall, visited some beautiful churches (both outside and in) and wandered around some of the fantastic sights of Lucca; including an ice cream stop! Antonella brought the history of the city to life, she was full of information and made the visit so special for all of us. We ended up in a restaurant that Antonella had booked for us having a superb Tuscan lunch in ture Italian style. I cannot recommend this highly enough, its a great way to get to know the real insights of a wonderful city on a personal basis. If you want to explore the city but with a fantastic personal twist, this service is an absolute must.

Antonella's Guided Tour of Lucca is a Must!
Mar 2012 • Friends
We met up with Antonella at the train station and were greated with a warm friendly smile. Its was just a short walk to the this beautiful city within the ancient walls. There were just the two of us in the group and the personalized guided tour was one of the highlights of our trip to Tuscany. Lucca truly is a beautiful city and a must see if you are visiting Tuscany. Antonella was passionate about her city and we enjoyed learning everything we could. We stopped for a cappuchino, and sampled some fantastic breads in addition to a wonderful wine and olive oil tasting. The entire tour was about three hours long. At the end of our tour I was quite surprised at how much we learned and she even gave us each goodie bag filled with infomation on Lucca and more wonderful tasty treats. She spoke perfect English and the tour was very reasonable. It was a wonderful experience and I highly recommend taking a tour with Antonella.

A really good guide
Jan 2012
I just wanted to share with you a great experience we had on a recent family trip to the wonderful walled city of Lucca in Tuscany, Italy. Although it was a very cold day, Antonella's brio and charm warmed us up and prepared us for a really interesting personal, professional and highly-prepared guided tour. I was with my wife and our two kids, one of 8 and the other 11 years old. The tour was the right length for all of us and it seemed clear to both my wife and I that Antonella must have a kid. She was very good at keeping both our guys interested and was always able to present all the various and fascinating features of Lucca from an adult's and a child's point of view. We would be more than happy to suggest that you contact her and we'd go so far as to say that you could plan a trip to Lucca specifically in order to enjoy a great tour with Antonella.
