nformative guided tour of the Academy and its focal piece, the David. Michelangelo's unfinished statues were also included in the tour. Skip the line is key for visiting as there were a zillion people waiting outside and we got in in less than 15 minutes. You can stay in the museum afterward to see the other galleries, musical instruments, etc. Be sure to bring cash because you have to purchase entrance tickets, separate from the tour.

Excellent Tour with our Guide Katharina. Very symphatic and very informative. She gave us a lot of intersting informations. Tour took 90 minutes and was never boring. Very good organised. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

They are very professional and knowledgeable team. They did send us a message at night before of tour and reminded us about information. They were on time and took us inside the museum immediately. We had also had option to check the music instruments museum after this one. Highly recommended.

Not worth the money. Guide was nice but seemed inexperienced. I don’t think it was “Elvis” that usually does the tour. Maybe he was off that day.

Really good. Great to not have to wait in the queue in baking heat and our guide was excellent - pitched just right, got a lot out of the tour, much more than we would have got if just attending ourselves.

You can skip this one!! Tour, I mean. Definitely go to the Accademia and see David, yes it’s worth the hype and the line to see this giant masterpiece. But if you do this tour you will be overpaying substantially to NOT skip a line (you will still be waiting in a line, a bit shorter one but still a line), and your tour guide will rush you at their pace past so many works. She skipped an entire room at the end and “invited us to stay longer to see it”. If you are planning your trip ahead of time definitely buy some tickets (check out the firenzepass if you’re in town a few days) to this museum, but skip this “skip this” tour! I was too last minute in my planning and these were the only tickets available. So, it did get me in to the gallery so for this reason I gave 3 stars, not 2. PS- Elvis never entered the building, btw…

Importantly we were quick into the museum with no fuss. Our guide provided great context for not only viewing David but Michelangelo’s other sculptures. I very much recommend doing this tour as it adds so much more to how you view the works.

The guide was so informative and enjoyable that I’d say it was many times better than self-visiting. As well as seeing David, with loads of good info, we learned about Michaelengo’s The Prisoners sculptures and after the tour, we visited the excellent musical instruments in the museum on the guides recommendation. Our guide Claudia was an enthusiast and he was amusing, courteous and so knowledgeable. Well worth the fee.

So happy we found this. On the official website for the academia gallery all the tickets were sold out for the day and we booked this last minute. The tour was extremely informative and we got to go in and see the statue of David!

David tour was excellent! We would recommend everyone use this company! Our tour guide was clear and informative! And the cost was well worth it.

Excellent way to skip the long lines at the Academia. Guide was very informative. Provided radios are ok, but it’s so noisy with all the people! Can be a challenge to hear well. Not the guide’s fault, but the 10:45 entry time was slid by the venue to after 11:15. Still incredible to see the art, especially David

Quality tour, from Elvis himself. Can't recommend highly enough. Being guided through medieval art to the Renaissance was very interesting. See Michaelangelo's only painting and other stunning works by the masters.

We learnt about history, art, culture and much more. We are well traveled and have high standards, and we were very happy with our tour guide - he was great and spoke excellent English.
