Claudia brought the Duomo complex to life! She was so informative, engaging and accommodating. She answered all our questions and took things slowing accommodating my back issues. We’ll hire her again later this year when we return. Her details of Florence, historical and present time gave us a full picture of what we were looking for!!!

Irene our guide was lovely and informative. The Duomo is an amazing g piece of architecture. Learning the history and relevance was special. We were lucky to get this birds eye view and background information that provided a better basis for understanding the creation and historical events that occurred within the walls! Thank you Irene.

This tour was basically as expected (which is a good thing). Duomo was amazing and overall I would have no problem using this tour group again. Small group (8) was good also

A private guide is the way to go

Our tour guide, Francesca, was amazing. She was knowledgeable and friendly, and having her guidance made our visit to the Duomo come to life. It’s so much better with a tour guide because you learn so much instead of just wandering blindly looking at beautiful art and architecture.

Duomo complex private tour

On October 23rd on holiday in Florence we decided to book the private guided tour of the cathedral as I think it is almost obligatory given the beauty and historical importance of the city of Florence, In fact we did not regret this choice thanks to the fantastic guide Claudia Durante who was absolutely comprehensive and willing to answer all our questions and curiosity, advice to all those in Florence to make this experience even more with such a guide

Great to see and learn about the Duomo!
This private tour was a great way to avoid the long lines and learn all about the Duomo. Our guide Ricardo was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. We started in the Duomo Museum which was well worth seeing. We then toured the Baptistry, the oldest part of the complex. We had to stand in line, but not for long. We then stood in line briefly to climb to the top and tour the dome. There is not much to the Duomo on the interior and people stand in line for hours to get in and perhaps be surprised and disappointed. The dome in the center however is incredible. And, the dome tour puts you literally right up on the paintings. A few more flights of stairs and you are outside viewing Florence in all directions. Incredible!
