Pisa and Cinque Terre Day Trip from Florence by Train

Overview

This day trip to Pisa and the Cinque Terre from Florence by train—the fastest way to reach two of Tuscany’s top attractions—takes care of all the transportation details for you. See the highlights of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Cinque Terre, and snap photos next to the Leaning Tower of Pisa, one of Europe’s most iconic monuments.

What to Expect

Your day trip begins at Santa Maria Novella train station, where you greet your guide, receive your tickets without waiting in line, and board a train destined for Pisa.

On arrival in Pisa, you head straight to Piazza dei Miracoli to admire the Duomo and the Leaning Tower of Pisa during free time (entrance to both at own expense).

Then, after returning to the station, you take the train to Cinque Terre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its cascade of colorful houses and coastal views. In Cinque Terre, explore the villages of Riomaggiore, Manarola, and Vernazza, where you can opt to go swimming.

Your tour concludes with a train journey to Florence, where you bid your guide farewell.

Note: This tour is for travelers between the ages of 18 and 45.

Hi! The train from Florence to Pisa is about 1H30m and we remain in Pisa for 1H30 which is the right time to allow people to visit the cathedral, the leaning tower and the Campo Santo.
