Fascinating Florence: Guided Walking Tour
US$34.05
Overview
With its many pedestrian-only streets and limited parking, Florence is best seen on a guided walking tour. With a guide on this tour, you’ll visit a mixture of landmarks (Brunelleschi’s Dome or Duomo, Giotto’s Bell Tower) and hidden gems, and discover secrets and scandals you'd likely miss if exploring independently. Plus, you’ll receive recommendations for the best places to eat, drink, and shop during your time in the city.
What to Expect

Your walking tour begins in central Florence at the ArtViva office, near Piazza della Repubblica, where you’ll greet your guide and receive an introduction to the capital of Italy’s Tuscany region.

As you visit highlights such as Giotto’s Bell Tower, Baptistery (Battistero), and the Duomo, you’ll hear tales of feuding painters, Medici rulers, and religious fanatics who all left their mark on the city, and get a history of Italian cuisine.

As you stroll through quaint piazzas and down hidden backstreets, you’ll get insider tips regarding gelato shops and the best restaurants and bars from your guide. The walking tour concludes at Piazza del Duomo.

Plan ahead as shoulders and knees (for men and women) must be covered when entering sacred sites.

Extremely Engaging!

Without Tatianna, our guide, this would have been "just another tour". She was so enthusiastic that I was hanging on to every word she said. If she were my history teacher in school I would have paid attention and gotten all A's. Thank you ArtViva...More

Nice tour

Had a nice tour of Florence to see all and hear about 2000year old Florence history till today . The best part was our tour guide Titania who made the tour more interesting and informative and humorous. A must see

Fascinating Florence

Really enjoyed this walking tour today. It was a three hour, fantastic and fascinating historical overview of Florence. Our guide Manolis was great and very conscious that we had a stroller and young baby, which was no problem. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.
