Overview
Sit back, relax, and let a guide transport you to medieval towns and rolling vineyards on a stress-free day trip from Florence. Travel with ease between the dispersed highlights of Tuscany, stopping at Siena, Monteriggioni, and San Gimignano before tasting world-famous wine in the Chianti region. All samples and entrance fees are included on this guided tour, which provides a comprehensive introduction for first-time visitors.
What to Expect

Following departure from a designated meeting point in Florence, head toward the medieval town of Monteriggioni, a ring-shaped citadel built in 1203.

After ticking off Monteriggioni’s historic highlights, continue to Siena for a guided walking tour, during which you can enter the world-famous Siena Cathedral (Il Duomo).

Enjoy free time to purchase lunch before you proceed to San Gimignano, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and home of the renowned Vernaccia wine. Following ample free time to explore, your tour culminates with a wine-tasting session in Chianti.

Please note, from April 1, 2018, the entrance to Siena Cathedral will not be included. Instead, the tour package will include a light lunch in a restaurant in Siena, tied together with a pastry-tasting session.

A trip where you don't have to think

Came to Florence for a 4 day trip and did the sights of the city but wanted to experience something a little different, something outside the city. This is an excellent tour as a "tasting menu" of these areas. We visited the area enough to...More

Awful from the start

The instructions for meeting place say to arrive 20 minutes before departure, however despite having hundreds waiting at the same meeting point 20 minutes before departure, most groups didn't depart for over 45 minutes. Nobody led the hoards of people into lines, queues formed and...More

This tour is a MUST do! Not only were the sights amazing , but the tour guide was engaging and knowledgeable. The winery was beautiful! The bus was clean and comfortable. It was a great Tuscany experience! Time well spent.

There is a great deal of walking, so it’s probably a bit much for very young children. Or for anyone with mobility issues or injuries.
