Overview

No visit to Florence is complete without a trip to the Tuscan countryside. Alleviate the hassle of public transport or renting a car on a stress-free day trip to the Chianti wine region, a convenient way to escape the city. Travel with ease between two Chianti wineries, and sample local wine and Tuscan specialties, all of which are included in this tour price. Plus, a small group limited to 19 means you receive personalized attention from your guide.

What to Expect

Depart from a meeting point in central Florence, and travel toward Tuscany’s wine country in an air-conditioned coach limited to 19 passengers. On arrival at the first wine estate in Chianti, learn about the farm and vineyard before sampling three wine options paired with olive oil and bread.

At the next winery, take a tour of the wine cellars, and learn about a different production process. Pleasure your palate with three more wine options accompanied by Tuscan specialties such as cold cuts, bruschetta, salami, and cheese.

This wine-tasting tour concludes with drop-off at your original departure point in Florence.

Beautiful landscapes and tasty wines

Both vineyards had really good wines! They even taught us how to see the texture, smell and taste the wines. Landscapes are priceless! We really enjoyed the tour! Giuseppe and Andrea were very nice!

Booked this tour on our honeymoon to experience the Tuscan environment. Our group was about 20 people but the tour guide Freddy made it very easy for everyone to get all of their questions answered. It's about a 40 minute ride out to the Tuscan...More

The wineries did not offer any other options than what they served. But, since no one in my party has gluten issues, it’s honestly not something I thought to ask. Now that I’m thinking about it, I’m not too sure how many... More
