Overview

The lines for popular Florence attractions are notoriously long year-round. You won’t waste a second of your vacation on this walking tour, which includes skip-the-line entry to Accademia Gallery, home to Michelangelo's David. As well as bypassing the often hours-long queue, you’ll take a guided walking tour that covers the Uffizi Gallery, Brunelleschi’s Dome (Duomo), Ponte Vecchio, and more. This tour is a great way to get oriented upon arrival in the Tuscan capital.

What to Expect

Meet your guide and group of no more than 25 at San Marco Square (Piazza San Marco) for your walking tour of Florence.

From there, you’ll head to Accademia Gallery, where you’ll bypass long lines and head inside to admire Michelangelo's iconic David sculpture.

Upon leaving Accademia Gallery, you’ll continue your walk through the city, with your guide bringing Renaissance architecture and history to life.

Gaze at Brunelleschi’s Dome (Duomo), undoubtedly the most famous structure on the Florentine skyline, and Giotto’s Bell Tower. Stroll through the medieval Palazzo Vecchio and see the exterior of the Church of Orsanmichele and the Uffizi Gallery.

The tour concludes facing the Ponte Vecchio bridge.

Skip The Tour

This was tour was somewhat disappointing and boring. We were unable to see the inside of the Duomo because the line was close to a 2hr wait according to our guide. Understandable. I wouldn’t want to wait that long in line anyway. Instead, we walked...More

The reviews are spot on. We also thought the Duomo was included. The tour guides were fantastic. The Academia was very quick, however, Melana gave us great information about the whole gallery due to her passion for Italy and knowledge of art. It was the...More

We toured the Accademia Gallery and learned more about the David than we could have ever imagined from our tour guid Paul Costa. He had lived in the states and his English was impeccable. We also toured the Duomo and the entire time we were...More

DOES NOT include Duomo, DECEPTIVE title and description.

Tour included only the Academia, didn't include Duomo. The description is purposely designed to deceive you into thinking you are skipping the line at Duomo as well. Ultimately we couldn't visit Duomo due to long lines, I would have rather planned it differently. Very sneaky...More
