A real treasure and a very good price

We booked this 2 hour boat trip for Friday 3 June 11.30am. The captain ( no idea of his name) was absolutely fantastic, giving us information along the way of what we were seeing. We had a slow and enjoyable tour along the coastline from Giardini Naxos towards Taormina seeing all the highlights of the coast with great music being played, and then we stopped for a short swim (not me!). He provided us with food and drink while we stopped and overall it was a great experience and we must do it again. It was such delight to see the tourists back again and someone who clearly took pride and pleasure in his boat trips.

My only comment is that it was not the easiest boat to find - maybe a bit more direction ie actually in the port along a pontoon with a boat called Kristal.

Fun excursion but overly crowded boat detracted from the experience

The trip delivered what it promised namely great views, a fun time on the water including a swimming stop and some prosecco and a cookie. What we did expect is that the organizer would pack 21 people on a boat that seemed fit comfortably for maybe 14 people which meant we barely had room to sit and it just felt very crowded. I really wish i had known as i would not have taken this cruise. But again we made the most of the time and the views and the rest of the experience made up for the situation.

My wife and I + our two small children had Andre and his father looking after us. Andre was a brilliant tour guide showing us local sites and places of interest and his father skippered the boat perfectly in to tiny caves & bays. We stopped for a half hour swim in clear blue waters & then some Prosecco & almond cakes. This was a perfect morning and really good value, I would definitely do this again.

Good trip; disorganized booking

The boat trip itself deserves a 4 out of five. However, I found the company we booked with somewhat disorganized and unprofessional. Within 15 minutes of confirming the reservation for a 6:30 trip, I was getting messages asking me to change my time to 4:30 and then to a different day and then finally a 6:00 trip with another company. I know things change but this seemed particularly odd having paid them no more than 15 minutes earlier. There are many boat company options at the harbor - perhaps I should have done more research about the reliability of this company but I took TripAdvisor’s recommendation.

He booked 4 hours before departure. Unfortunately the boat that was supposed to leave at 6.30pm was already full. I offered him several alternatives so as not to cancel the reservation, which means organization and not disorganization as he says. The tour, which I offered him and which he did, also included dolphins, a tour that is more expensive and not included in the price paid for the classic tour. His dissatisfaction is unfounded. Anyway, thanks for the review and we are glad at least they liked the boat tour

Great way to experience the Taormina coastline

Excellent way to pass a lovely couple of hours. Fantastic customer service from start to finish and lovely friendly staff. Swimming in the crystal clear water was superb and finished off perfectly with glass of fizz. Thank you for a great experience x

Mis-sold boat trip

We were sold this trip by Christine of Meeting Point Italy as a half day trip.
In fact it lasted 2 hours, or would have done if we had been given the correct instructions for getting to the boat.
We were told to wait outside Angelina restaurant in Naxos port and someone would come for us, which never happened.
After several phone calls and 45 minutes waiting in the 33C heat someone did come and took us by fast boat to join the tour which had already departed.
The trip itself was good, the captain was a nice cheerful guy, but 1 hour 40 minutes does not qualify as a half day trip.

Charming boat ride, amazing views

It was a lovely boat ride! The coast line was beautiful around sunset and we got to take a swim in a very charming cove. Nice music, yummy snacks. We arrive early and it was pretty easy to find parking on the street not far from the port.

It’s a good value for the price and I’d do it again if I went back!

Good trip but loud euro house music played non-stop
The trip was good and the staff friendly, however, the loud euro house that was pumped out constantly over the 2.5hrs was incredibly distracting. The music was so loud that you couldn't really talk to the person sitting next to you. More of a party cruise vibe that really should have been advertised more clearly.

The good points were the friendly funny staff, chance to swim and that it is a smaller boat.

We had a trip booked for the afternoon but it was cancelled due to bad weather. Gianluca tried everything to sort out an alternative but we couldn’t make it work, so he met us personally to refund our cost. He is such a nice, honourable person, we will try again when we are next in Sicily

Nothing special
We got there 20 minutes before time and it was hard finding
the boat. There was no name and no one to speak with. Finally when we found a boat with people in it that was our boat. We told the captain that it was hard to find and his response with an attitude was “all these people found it”. So give yourself ample time to find the boat with a diff name.
We saw one sea cave from from outside. Nothing special. The best part was docking the boat to take a dip in the refreshing water. We were served champagne and 2 kinds of cookies that do yourself a favor and don’t even eat it. Smelled and tasted like gasoline.
I had to Unfortunately spit it In The water. There was no way anyone can swallow such a horrible taste of gasoline. I would not recommend
This trip. To take a dip In The refreshing sea, go to the beach and you’ll have a better experience.
