- For security reasons suitcases, backpacks or large bags are not allowed inside the Doges’ Palace, the storage service is free of charge.
- Each gondola can host maximum 5 people; the seat aboard cannot be chosen but will be assigned by the gondolier depending on guest's weight
- The tour does not operate in case of exceptionally bad weather (in these cases it can be postponed the days after otherwise it will be refunded)
- The Gondola ride is at 4:00 PM. Please, consider the gap between the two tours
- Not recommended for travellers with back problems
- Not recommended for pregnant travellers
- No heart problems or other serious medical conditions

The history is incredible but a heads-up about the amount of stairs would’ve been good, anyone with mild limited mobility this is not the tour for you.
