    A MUST DO FOR VENICE
Our guide, Neele, was great! Walking was minimal, but had great sights along the way. All stops were locally owned and operated. Authentic Venetian all around! I would come into this tour with an open mind and an open pallet (us Americans aren’t used to eating anchovies). The experience offered a wide variety of traditional Venetian cicchetti. They did include additional options for those who cannot (will not) eat anchoviesl. If you want a true authentic food experience for a great price this is the tour for you!

    Great experience
Excellent tour with Nealie. She was a wealth of knowledge. Only visited Venetian owned family food outlets. Good range of tastes.

    Great food
Anna was a wonderful guide. Very knowledgeable. We really enjoyed the group we walked with. The food was amazing. There was enough time at each place to enjoy the food. There was a lot of food - glad we came hungry

    Basic Food Tour
Good Guide Average Food Our guide provide good information and was very nice. But the food was very average. Company should choose better restaurants. And we did not explore Dusodoro area at all. Just ended tour there with a gelato. I expected to see some of this lovely area but did not.

Great way to start the trip!
This was a really good tour! Nela (sp?) was a great guide, attentive and informative. We are glad we did this on our first day as it gave us some context in moving around the city. It was also nice that we had some choices on the bites and we all thought it was enough food and we weren't hungry when done. We actually went back to some spots the next day as they were priced well. Great to find true gems in the city We highly recommend this tour.

    Must-Do Tour
This was one of our happiest couple of hours in Venice—and we had plenty. Our tour guide, Denis, was friendly and informative and conducted an excellent tour. We learned about ombré and cicchetti and Denis took us to charming little places we would not have found by ourselves. The food was excellent and we bought some enjoyable glasses of wine (and Select spritzers) to accompany it. Afterwards there was no way we could contemplate dinner. I’d highly recommend this tour.

    Perfect “local flavor” tour
Exactly what we were looking for. Dennis was easy going, efficient, and knew his way around the back streets of Venice! We tasted amazing food and wine, and he chatted about local sights and culture along the way. Excellent tour, excellent guide. ♥️♥️

Interesting tour. Food offerings needs work..
We have done several food tours and this was good but not in the best. The guide, Vanessa was interesting, passionate, informative and patient. The food was good, but I felt it should have been better curated given the price of the tour. We learned alot about the Jewish Ghetto and Venice in general,

It was a very nice way to get a better understanding of the food culture in Venice. Our guide Neele was great. Lovely way to meet people as a solo traveller.

    A fun and insightful tour!
Dennis from Venice was a brilliant tour guide. He was insightful and humorous. The pace of the tour was perfect and we were taken to some great food/drink places. Dennis shared interesting facts as we went round. My wife and I always book some sort of tour at the start of any trip. You learn so much more than you can from a guide book. It also sets you up nicely for your holiday break, as you get really helpful tips on where to visit and what to avoid. The food was really tasty. I would thoroughly recommend booking this tour. I was tempted to book the more expensive food tours that included wine, but with this tour you still get advised about the local wine etc and you get to pick and choose/buy whatever tipple you fancy to go with the food. A much cheaper and flexible way of doing things.

A lovely, varied collection of traditional food
A lovely, varied collection of traditional food from Venice, lead by a knowledgeable guide. From sweet to savory cichetti, favourite was cuttlefish served in its ink with grilled polenta, washed down with Ragusa Venetian red wine

    Wonderful tasting of local specialties!
An absolute must to do early in your Venice stay! Neela was our guide & took us around to 10 local food/bar establishments. We tried small bites and/or wines n each. She also gave us insights into Venice’s history… but not too much info that we’d later forget! We’d highly recommend this tour! Loved it!

Met outside a restaurant and Denys brought us to many small establishments off the beaten path for delicious food, drink
The Jewish Ghetto and Cannaregio food and wine tour was the highlight of our four day trip to Venice. Denys is a fabulous guide and we met a group of lovely people. We had plenty to eat and drink and Denys showed us parts of Venice we would never have discovered on our own. We went back to those areas each evening after our tour and got away from the typical tourist areas. Definitely worth the price. Best of luck to Denys and team.

This was the perfect length tour, informative and fun, starting coincidentally right next to a genuine Banksy work of art and a church with beautiful paintings, neither of which were included in the itinerary, but our brilliant guide, Alice, was happy to give us plenty of info on both! She was personable, and knowledgable, eager to answer any questions and navigated us through the back street to avoid the crowds. She told us how the squares are named after the churches and about how the street names have come about. Really interesting and enjoyable tour which my teenagers also enjoyed.

Very interesting guided walking sightseeing tour by local guide Denise. Denise was very knowledgeable, we walked for almost 3 hours through Venice and Denise shared details about palaces, churches and “campos” in a very passionate way. It was great to be guided by her, we really felt the passion for the city she lives in.

The guide, Denise, was really knowledgeable, personable, and fun. She knew a lot about the city and you learn a lot of things outside of common knowledge about Venice. I am traveling solo and would recommend for those traveling solo who have limited time in Venice. It isn’t too long of a tour and you pack a lot of interesting things into a short time. and she can tell you a lot of recommendations on where to get delicious pizza and when to avoid seafood (lol).

Denise is awesome!! We did 9 different tours in Italy this month and this was one of the best ones! We were with a small group so our guide, Denise, was very engaging and able to talk to us individually while we walked. She gave us a great history lesson while also keeping it light and telling us funny facts too. She gave us great recommendations for things to do/places to eat also. I normally have a specific company’s tours I look for in each city so I was a little unsure of which one to book when Venice didn’t have my preferred company. No regrets at all! This was awesome— don’t hesitate to book!

Great experience, worthwhile doing.
Sure you can walk through Venice on your own, bit you'd miss out on all the cool background info on this unique city
Denise was great and enthusiastic telling us about her home town, and the two hours just passed in a breeze.
An experience at reasonable cost not to be missed.

I had an truly excellent guide named Denise, (her English name). She lives in Venice and she gave us a very memorable walking tour with lots of information explained in a fun and interesting manner. She kept our attention for the whole tour. Would recommend this experience to everyone wanting to get a flavour of the real Venice as well as gaining valuable historical facts. Well done Denise you were so good.

The sight seeing tour is a must do. Some of the sites you wouldn't be able to see on your own and the tour guide has vast knowledge of the area. However, at the end of the trip we felt a little bit let down as the tour guide said tourists are taking over the area and its unbearable to live here because of them. The cost of housing and lack of social housing for the tour guide was mentioned also and how costly it is for a local to live in Venice because of tourists. We felt it to be quite cringing as we were all tourists.

Excellent tour from Carolina with a snapshot history of Venice in 2 hours, cleverly structured around particular landmarks to help tell the story. Carolina was very relaxed, welcoming and clearly has a wealth of knowledge - also very engaging at each stop. As fellow guides in our own country (though we didn’t tell her, as didn’t want to put her off!) we also appreciated her professionalism and picked up some excellent techniques along the way :)
Some great foodie recommendations too, and we enjoyed chatting between stops to learn more about Carolina’s experiences growing up as a Venetian, and thoughts on more contemporary issues facing the city and country. (We possibly gained more from the tour than others in the group as a result, but that’s just a top tip for other travellers - if you want to get a real insight, get up front and strike up a conversation with the guide!)

We had a local venetian take us on a tour in the freezing cold and she made it so enjoyable. She took time to answer questions and made it fun with guessing games. Walking tours are always a must at the start of your trip.

Out tour guide Denise was lovely ، very nice and friendly . She was really approachable . The English was very clear . The stories was amazing and her way in showing the facts was interesting . We enjoyed it soo much and i strongly recommend it especially in the first day or two in Venice as its short for 2hours and light and gives you great suggestions and an overview of the city as a whole.
Thanks Denise.
