Overview
This sightseeing tour allows you to see three islands in the Venetian Lagoon in half a day. Visitors often visit Murano—well-known for its glass-blowing factory—but fewer make it to Burano and Torcello, with their lace-making shops and ornate palaces and churches. The tour also offers two departure times a day, making it easier to fit into your schedule.
What to Expect
At Alilaguna pier in front of the Royal Gardens (Giardinetti Reali), board your motorboat to set off across the Venetian Lagoon for Murano. Disembark and stroll around the island with your guide.

Stop at a glass factory, where you watch a glassblower create sculptures in a centuries-old tradition. Your guide tells you about the island’s history as the former center of European glassmaking. Visit a few sights around the island, including a church with notable mosaics.

Hop back in the boat and move onto lesser-known Torcello, with its ornate palaces and churches. Visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta and the excavated ruins of the Church of Santa Fosca baptistery.

Your third stop is Burano, known for traditional lace production. Walk past the island’s colorful fishermen’s houses, and visit lace shops and the lace museum.

Finish the tour with a boat ride back to Venice.

Unless you are planning on purchasing some big expensive pieces of Murano Glass- avoid tours offered by your hotel concierges. It’s best to just go on your own taking a boat. Plan at least 3-4 hrs . The Murano island is extremely pretty with great...More

The trip to Murano, Burano & Torcello was very good but a half day is not long enough to explore these places. After you watch the mandatory glass blowing on Murano you get around 45 mins to explore the place before having to board the...More

Magical and relaxing

We took the water taxi to Burano (€120) from St Marks and the public bus boat back ( €7)... both were fun and great to see the lagoon and islands. Burano is picturesque and a great break from the crowds and hustle. Very brightly colored...More

Very interesting and Beautiful

Excellent glass making demo in Murano, beautiful color buildings on Burano, and unique history in Torcello. Would recommend.
