Only one bus running during the winter
We usually enjoy taking theses tours to get an overview of the town. They have 3 bus routes that last about an hour each, so plan on a half day of sitting on the bus just to drive around. The stops are also very long, so if you hop off for a quick picture, you have to wait forever for another bus.

We got the combination pass with the Egypt museum, and while the hoho is good for 24 hours, the museum tickets are stamped only for the day you get the ticket. It’s too much rushing around.

After we completed the 1st bus route we asked the kiosk when the other buses would pick us up, she said “April”!! they only run one bus during the winter.
What a waste of time and rip off.

I had Expedia points to use up and booked through Viator, which I considered the Evil Empire of tours. You can book the hoho tour in person at the kiosk in Piazza Castello 5 minutes before the bus leaves. Then pick another time and day for the Egypt museum and book directly with them.

Turin is a beautiful town, and we were impressed since it doesn’t get the notoriety of Milan. The public transportation is fantastic and a good, cheap option for sightseeing on your own.

You can also see our other reviews of the city if you follow us on Trip Advisor.

If you found this review helpful please give it a thumbs up.

Bus trip around Turin
Sep 2019
This was a great way to see the City. We toured once then stayed on the bus and went to the places we wanted to see and then hopped back on.

Long waiting times
Sep 2019
Usually take the HOHO in a new City we visit and did so again in Turino. First of all not much to see, long wait times between rides, 1 1/2+ at one stop. One line wasn't running at all on one day, they neglected to tell us. We bought one day but it is actually 24 hrs. so nice to have the next day option. All in all it does give an overview and a little history thrown in but unless you want to see unkempt buildings and boulevards and graffiti covering everything you can do better by walking or metro.

Wrong Ticket
Jul 2019 • Couples
Got the wrong ticket, bought it online. It was the wrong one. Several places online to purchase it. Dunno if it was TripAdvisor, or somewhere else. But it was wrong anyway, so we did not go. Complicated to keep track on 3 routes right? Must be really hard.

Interesting
Helpful staff at the booking office. The buses were clean and on time. Could have done with a detachable roof. Great tour of Turin however the timings could have been more frequent to allow you to hop on and off as described but you were left for far too long until the next bus came along

Worst company and service!
They are the most informal, meanwhile the other companies hop-on every 5 minutes, this bus hop-on every 30 minutes. Very uncpuntual, and the people working there are very rude and bully. And the worst part is that their trashy service is very expensive. I just hate it!!!

These coaches have a roof which hides the wonderful architecture of Torino, can’t say much more. A waste of money

We always do these to get a view of the city, convenient, however timing issue
May 2018 • Couples
Whenever we go to a new city, if they have a hop-on, hop-off bus tour, then we do it. It is a great way to see the city. Now the issue with Turin's HoHo, is there are three routes, one of 1 hours, 1 of 90 minutes and one of 105 minutes. So if you "Hop-off" ensure you are doing so to do an activity suitable for the time. We did so on the Blue Line, the 90 minute route (stopped at the former Fiat factory - ace), but we then had soem wait for the bus. Staff were OK, not overaly friendly, but helpful when required. We chose the 3 tour package for 2 over 48 hours cost was euro 50 (£44/ $59 approx).

I have to say the red and blue routes were good, the green route not so, unless like me you are a football fan and get to see Juventus stadium. My only grumble, the driver had a space where he could have stopped to allow us to get a good photo of the stadium, but he did not, felt a little in a race.

I do think it worth doing, but you will have to decide if you are on a short stay whether to go for all three or just the red and/or blue routes. Recommended.
