Since San Siro’s construction in the 1920s, it has become one of Europe’s most versatile sports grounds. In addition to being the longstanding home of both AC Milan and Inter Milan, the stadium has also played host to music concerts, a boxing match, and the 1990 World Cup and Rugby Union international games.
Hop aboard your City Sightseeing bus at any of the Line C stops to begin your half-day trip at San Siro. (A full list of stops can be found in the Itinerary section below.)
Upon arriving, head inside to explore the stadium’s public areas independently. Take a walk through the ‘tunnel of champions’ to the field, peer down from the tiered seating stands and see the press room where interviews and photos take place after the match.
Then, enjoy access to the stadium museum, where you can wander among the football exhibits and paraphernalia, pausing in the store to browse souvenirs. When you're ready, hop back aboard your bus to the new headquarters of AC Milan.
Unveiled for the 2014-15 season, Casa Milan is complete with a fan store, museum, and the Cucina Milanello restaurant. Pick up any additional souvenirs and learn more about the team's history at the museum. Afterwards, if option selected, enjoy a light lunch at the restaurant. (See the Itinerary section for sample menus.)
After a few hours of food, history, and fandom, journey back to central Milan on your sightseeing bus.
