Our tour guide was absolutely incredible. Kids were engaged and excited and learned so much. This was truly an unforgettable experience. Loved the pizza and gelato break.

Hubby and I brought our 5 Grandchildren and we had the most wonderful experience. They laughed, swam, relaxed (61 degree room) and made friends at the pool. We used the convenient rec room for the microwave and vending machines. They we're so excited to have their own Cabana! Great staff and beautiful rooms! Thank you Dunes, we will be back!

We booked 3 tours with “Rome Tours for Kids”: the Vatican, Colosseum and a walking tour in the evening with Pizza and Gelato. All three were absolutely phenomenal! We had been to the Vatican and Colosseum before but by far had the best experience with this company! We booked directly with them. Their communication was absolutely excellent, the guides were prompt and they answered every question and then some. The guides do an outstanding job of engaging the children…we had (2) 10 year olds, (1) 11 year old and (2) 13 year olds. As they got to know our kids they further tailored their approach to them. (E.g. our kids love mythology and Percy Jackson so they pointed out things that had connections to that). It was very hot but our guides kept us all engaged the entire time and were always finding ways to seek out shade well enjoying the sites. They also helped us skip all the lines…it couldn’t have gone any better. Out of our entire 12 day vacation to 3 counties these tours were everyone’s top highlights of the entire trip! Well worth the price.

Wonderful! Kept my kids (9 and 6) entertained and was very informative. My husband who has been to Rome and the Colosseum many times before said he really enjoyed the tour and learned something new! Highly recommend! Bring bottled water if you visit during the summer!

Another amazing tour wit Rome tours with Kids. This is the 3rd time we use them while in Italy with my family and we are in love. The guide was great, despite the heat and crowds , we skipped the lines and explore the museums. The Sistine Chapel was just WOW. I cannot imagine going to the Vatican without a guide. 100% worth the money spent

Although this tour was targeted for families with kids, we were disappointed in the presentation. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly, but the stories and facts could have been presented in a way that engaged the children better. She spent too much time on the periphery of the Colosseum and showing pictures in her binder. I think there was a missed opportunity for storytelling. We had to break rank with the group just to look out over the arena floor at eye level. I acknowledge that the crowds make it difficult to keep everyone engaged, but a few days later, we took a family tour in Pompeii that was excellent and by comparison, felt that our Colosseum tour had many missed opportunities for fun and education.

Rossella took our family through the wonders of the Vatican museum. She engaged the four young children in our group with tales of Greek and Roman myths and their connections to the art and architecture of this amazing place. Her warmth and ability to connect with the kids was exceptional. She made the Vatican come alive and kept the group's interest throughout the whole tour. Everyone loved her. Families, take this tour!

Marco is an extraordinarily gifted tour guide. The children in our group were totally captivated by his story of the Colosseum, told with great humor, energy and drama. He engaged each child and made them feel like they were part of history. Both the children and adults in our family loved it. This tour is a must for families with children in Rome.

Guide was great, the tour is very interesting. 2 areas that are tough… it’s not a skip the line tour (special line for groups, which is also quite long). During the summer hot days it was a though one to do, as their are several areas out of the shade

Alessandra was a great guide - she helped the kids get great photos and shared lots of information with us. We were happy to have her as a guide for the second time!

Sarah is such a great tour guide. She is very patient with my 6-yr old kid and made her engaged and excited throughout the whole 2.5 hour tour. She is very knowledgeable and always willing to answer our questions. We would definitely come back to Sarah for all our future activities in Rome!!!

Great for the whole family. We hit all the important stops and our kids liked the guide a lot. We got some good tidbits of info and then good advice for food later.

Was extremely busy being April holls and we did have to queue for a while to get in which I wasn't expecting from the explanation I thought queue jump meant you're missing the queue. Anyway! The tour was brilliant and I would highly recommend it for young ones. My son really enjoyed it and our guide was very lovely .... and patient! Would recommend ...

Our guide Julia was so engaging and really tailored the tour to the kids, getting them involved and keeping it entertaining. We learnt so much about the Colosseum and The Forum, as well as other ruins and landmarks nearby. It was clear that Julia had a genuine interest and background in ancient history and could answer any questions we or the kids had. Perfect for avoiding the queues on a hot day too.

TripAdvisor sold us a package and the next day operator has canceled our booking. I’m not sure what happened, but this is unacceptable.
