Spaghetti in a REAL wonderful family, amazing experience !!
We had a very Amazing time with Pietro and his family: went to the market to see and buy local products, then in the kitchen for the masterclass. They are so cozy and experienced about italian food, we had a lot of fun and we made and ate the best amatriciana and tiramisu ever ! A unique experience , higly recommended ! Thanks to Pietro and Tiziana !

A lovely family in a Real roman home!
Jan 2020 • Couples
A beautiful esperience in one of the charming neighborough not too far from the city center. We made the fresh pasta maker lesson. The chef were very welcoming with her mother. We felt immediately part of something exclusive and authentic. We started with a taste of a selected Umbria Wine and then se made a pasta from the scratch (orecchiete) and a fantastic seasonal sauce with Lazio sausages and roman broccoli... delicious! Than we had more Wine and a casting of salami, cheeses and olive oil. After we ate our hand made pasta we had even a hand made biscuit and a Marsala sweet dessert wine. A so inclusive hands on experience that we defenitely suggest to all the tourists that want to "escape" from too touristic places for a Real roman experience.

Amazing experience!!!

This cooking class was really great fun! The spaghetti in the family team will make you feel at home from the beginning of the day to the end! We where welcomed in Pietro’s family kitchen and he then took us to the market to shop explore and taste some local produce. Then back to the kitchen! Thanks to Pietro’s lesson we learned a lot about pasta making, Roman food and culture, without ever feeling bored! At the end of the class we got enjoy the lovely pasta we made with a nice glass of wine and obviously dessert! Highly recommended!

You'll really feel like family and eat some of the best food you'll have in Italy!
Nov 2019
So much fun! Being welcomed into their home kitchen, getting to meet some family members then off to the market where we shopped, explored, and were treated to meat, cheeses and local wine. We headed back home and started cooking Roman favorites, amatricianna, gricia, bruschetta (make sure you say it right!) and tiramisu. Then gather around the table and enjoy! Pietro (I hope I spelled that right!) and Luca are charming hosts and we really learned so much! Thanks for warm conversation, great food, wine and espresso!

The cooking class was great!! We really loved going to the market after we decided what the menu was going to be. Luca helped us narrow it down to a nice authentic Roman meal. The market was absolutely amazing and beautiful, perfect for fresh ingredients! Luca was easy to understand and fun to be around. We ate our meal outside in the secret garden in Rome-a great respite from the hustle and bustle. Thank you Luca for such a great time!!

Best possible last day in Italy
Sep 2019
This was the perfect ending to a great trip. These folks were welcoming, knowledgeable and great cooks! We were signed up for the market visit followed by the cooking class. The market visit was extremely enjoyable as our hosts went out of their way to explain the different items and their use. We had a charcuterie snack with wine and were able to understand the various preparation methods for the meats and cheeses. The cooking class had us asking a lot of questions which were all answered with great knowledge and a real desire to get us to understand what was going on and why. As others have said there was plenty of wine, but the absolute best part was the warm welcome into their home and being treated as honored guests.

We had such an amazing day with Pietro and his family. A friend had taken a cooking class months prior and highly recommend it to my husband and it was definitely a highlight of our trip. Pietro took us to a local market which was amazing and then back to his house for the lesson. What a wonderfully unique experience that we will treasure.

The Spaghetti Boys Were Our Favorite Part of Rome!
Jul 2019
We did the day cooking class as a family (my husband and I and our two sons, 12 and 14) with a trip to the open air market for ingredients. We were with one other family of 3 so it was the perfect size to enjoy cooking and eating together. Lucca and Matteo were fun, funny, educational and just in general great hosts! We made a delicious Roman dish of pasta with sheeps milk cheese sauce and crispy pork cheek (OMG yum) and homemade Panna Cotta for dessert. The food was superb. The market was so fun and interesting. And overall we just had a great time! I would DEFINITELY recommend these guys and do this tour again. Only downside is we didn't have time to make homemade pasta, so next time we would try for that. Thanks Spaghetti in the Family!

Tasty, knowledgeable and full of wine.
Luca (spelling?) was a pasta godsend. So knowledgable about Italy and pasta and wine. Making the pasta and sauce from scratch was the highlight of my sister and my time in Rome.

They also provided cheese, meats and wine to ensure a constant full belly.

Thank you so much for everything, if we’re ever back in Rome you can expect us at your table again!
