Overview
Skip the restaurant scene and spend some time getting to know Rome outdoors on this walking food tour. Pair an exploration of some of the city’s characteristic districts—Campo de’ Fiori and the Jewish Quarter—with visits to authentic eateries. Sample specialties, such as pizza, pasta, cured meats, and risotto balls (suppli).
What to Expect
After meeting at Piazza Navona in front of Museo di Roma, your guide takes you to a café in the piazza, where you can enjoy a cappuccino or espresso while soaking up the atmospheric square that's usually full of street artists.

Next, try some of the best pizza in town while your guide tells you about the history of the square and surrounding neighborhoods, such as Campo de’ Fiori and Trastevere.

Continue to the vegetable market at Campo de’ Fiori and taste traditional Roman pasta in the old Jewish Quarter. Stroll over to a secret bridge loved by locals, where you enjoy classic Italian cured meats.

The tour finishes with a gelato in the popular Trastevere neighborhood.

Great Tour trying Rome's finest!

Our guide, Giada, was fantastic! She had a bubbly personality and spent time clearly and passionately explaining about the food we sampled and the background behind the chef and/or shop owner. We tried a variety of sweet and savoury food and accompanying drinks and were...More
