- The ride covers an area of approximately 12 miles (18 km); The difficulty level of this tour is easy (or intermediate with a child seat or child extension mounted on the bicycle)
- Infants younger than 1 are not allowed to participate on the tour, for safety reasons.
- Infants aged between 1 and 4 years travel free of charge on a child seat. Child seats are provided up to a weight limit of 55 lbs (25 kg)
- For children aged 5-8 years a child extension is provided (child streamliner).
- Electric-assist bicycles are available only for participants over 9 years of age.
- Is the tour safe? The answer is: Absolutely! The tour follows a carefully planned route with limited access to traffic. Some sections have have no traffic at all, meaning you are able to enjoy your ride around the city in total relaxation and safety and you won't have to worry about traffic
- Minimum of 4 participants applies (total number of participants on tour). There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is only 3 passengers (or less) on the tour. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative for your tour or full refund.
- Please note: In the event of official/public celebrations and happenings in the city center of Rome, the company reserves the right to substitute one or more of the included highlights with alternative ones.
- We require that all participants wear a helmet (provided for free).

The tour we scheduled didn’t have enough participants so we were ask to join another with the appropriate refund in cost difference. They were very accommodating to our schedule as we ventured to Rome on our own from a cruise ship docked in Civitavecchia. There were six on the tour with a guide who was excellent. During the 4 hour ride we visited all of the sites listed in the description. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the city’s history. She was able to explain what we were seeing and how it looked centuries ago. The e-bikes were well maintained and easy to ride. Definitely the way to get around. If we could give a rating of 6/5 stars we would.

This was a true highlight for my trip to Rome. Saw all of the major sites and had a blast. The guide, Catalina, was so much fun and nice. The tour was fairly priced and didn’t charge more than advertised as a solo traveler like some of the other tours I found. She also took us to some special spots for views away from other tourists. Highly recommend this tour and company!

Our tour could have been cancelled due to only 2 booked in the group, we had limited time in Rome so no other option suited, TopBike Rentals kindly facilitated us without us asking, so THANK YOU.
Rik is an excellent guide, so knowledgeable of the history of Rome throughout the centuries, it was so interactive which was great. The time flew by, the bikes were great. It is not our first time using TopBike rentals and wont be the last time either. Would highly recommend them.

My wife, 23-year old daughter, and I had a fantastic time on this bike tour! We visited the major sites, but also several hidden gems that we had not known about before. The e-bikes were great in the hilly topography of Rome - particularly in June. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and safety conscious. Would absolutely do it again and recommend to our friends and family. Thank you for a great experience!

This was the highlight of our 5 day trip to Rome. You’ll see the city from so many different sites, covering about 14kms without even realising it with the great electric bikes. Costs about £50 per person and lasts 4hours.
Customer service was excellent from the guys at the front desk to the mechanics providing you with the bikes and our guide was very professional, courteous, friendly and so informative.
This has got to be on your list of things to do when in Rome.
Considering how ridiculously expensive Rome is and the general poor quality of service you get this company is a diamond in the rough and provides great value for money.

So, I just want to say that this tour with the e-bike was the highlight of our time in Rome. Our tour guide, Elizabeth, was so kind and friendly and very knowledgable about the sights in Rome. The assist, especially when going uphill, on the e-bike is incredible and wonderful. My wife and I enjoyed this tour and would go on another tour in the future. Thank you for the great experience!
