Itinerary
Your tour of Pompeii and Mt. Vesuvius starts with pickup in central Rome.

Board an air-conditioned vehicle, and make the ride over to Mt. Vesuvius. At Mt. Vesuvius, your guide leads you on a hike to the top of the old volcano. At the top, catch sight of the Bay of Naples, and sights inside the crater. Please note from late November to late March, you’ll explore the National Archaeological Museum of Pompeii instead of the short hike.

Afterward, take a break and enjoy a pizza lunch before making your way over to Pompeii—a UNESCO World Heritage Site and former Roman city.

Once you arrive in Pompeii, follow your guide on a tour, and learn the history of the area. See the Forum and Teatro Grande as you go.

Your tour ends with a ride back to Rome.

Vesuvius' crater and explore Pompeii with a guide, discovering lesser-known historical info as you go, and don’t worry about lunch or entrance fees because pizza and admission are both included.
