Overview
Visit several of Rome’s must-see attractions in one day and save up to six hours of waiting in line during high season with priority entrance tickets. Spend the morning exploring the Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, and St. Peter's Basilica, and then take a guided walking tour of the Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum.
What to Expect
Make your own way to Vatican City in central Rome to meet your guide and the rest of your tour group. Using your prepaid skip-the-line tickets, head straight inside through a special entrance and skip the long lines, even the priority ones.

With your guide on hand to point out all the highlights, set out on a tour of the vast Vatican Museums. Explore the Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, and Gallery of the Candelabra. Visit the Pinecone Courtyard and the renowned Raphael’s Rooms, and marvel at works by artists such as Raphael, Caravaggio, and da Vinci. You will also get a chance to admire Michelangelo’s magnificent Sistine Chapel and visit St. Peter's Basilica, one of the world’s most famous churches.

After the Vatican tour, enjoy free time for lunch (own expense) before rejoining your guide for the second part of your tour.

In the afternoon, make your way to the Colosseum, where you can use your skip-the-line tickets to avoid the queues, and then enjoy a guided walking tour of the mighty amphitheater. Hear tales of Roman emperors, fearless gladiators, and ferocious beasts as you gaze out over the arena floor and take plenty of photos of the world’s largest ancient amphitheater.

Continue your walk through ancient Rome at the nearby Roman Forum and explore the ruins of ancient temples, churches, public squares, and tombs. Finally, climb to the top of Palatine Hill, one of Rome’s legendary Seven Hills, from where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the city.

Your tour ends at Palatine Hill.

Note: In low season, attractions may be visited in a different order.

An “interested” child/teen, yes, I believe so. However depending on when you’re going can affect my answer. This time of year is much better than summer or spring. October-January is off season so it is much less busy. Which... More
