  • A great way for first-time visitors to orient themselves
  • Listen to live commentary on landmarks for deeper historical context

What to Expect
Your Rome walking tour begins when you meet your guide in the Piazza del Arco di Costantino in Rome, at least 20 minutes before your scheduled morning or afternoon departure. You’re guaranteed to skip the long lines with your guide as you enter the Colosseum and explore the first and second levels, listening to tales (via headset) of the bloody gladiator fights that occurred in the arena. The next stop is the Roman Forum, where you’ll explore the ruins and hear stories of ancient Rome. See, too, the Arch of Septimius Severus and the Temple of Vespasian and Titus. Continue to the historic center of Rome to pose for photos in front of the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona. After you bid your guide farewell at Piazza Navona in central Rome, you’ll be free to continue exploring Rome independently.

Disorganised tour with scattered guide. Difficult to understand with thick accent. Often getting side tracked, guide gave very random facts without any real context and background to the history of sights. Difficult to visualise what it once was. Colloseum would be best done
