About the operator
Don’t take it from us – here’s what people have to say about this operator:
- FarAway111315967130 contributionsLovely way to see the Amalfi coastGreat communication and lovely people involved with both the transfer (longer than expected) and the boat. A wonderful trip up the Amalfi coast which is just beautiful. Plenty of opportunity to take photos and a real effort made to share the local history - including pictures and sharing of the details with those sitting outside. Positano and Amalfi are worth visiting (can’t imagine how busy they are in peak season as busy enough at the end of October) although pricy if you choose to buy. We had a great day.Written 23 November 2024
- Q7788JLpeterg0 contributionsAmalfi Shared Boat Tour by Cooperative S. AntonioPick up coach driven by friendly driver arrived promptly on time in Sant Agnello . Compared to the cost of other similar trips, I thought this was excellent value. I loved this trip. It was a small boat but I felt very safe throughout and it just added to the enjoyment being in a small group. The crew were extremely friendly, competent and carefully attentive to helping people getting on and off the boat. We were told about the history of a number of beauty spots on the way including the site of a Roman villa. Had plenty of time to walk around and see the beauty of Amalfi and Positano with perched cliff top homes, scenic walks and the beauty of Amalfi Cathedral. We even enjoyed a friendly sing along on the way back before being dropped off back in Sant Agnello. I would recommend this boat trip to anybody as a lovely way to see the beautiful sites of the Amalfi coast.Written 17 November 2024
- tjr210 contributionsGood, not greatGood, not great. It was nice to take the boat instead of driving. Enough time to get the flavor of the towns but not enough to enjoy.Written 25 October 2024
- joyo19570 contributionsA great tripThe trip was very well organised and went smoothly from pick up to drop off, the boat trip and return to hotel. The boat trip itself was not smooth…..let’s say exhilarating….but a fantastic way to see the coast. There was ample time to explore Amalfi and Positano. The staff were friendly and helpful.Written 17 October 2024
- GO19790 contributionsPositano the HighlightPick up was bang on time but my goodness the drive to the port is not fun. Views are great but the way they drive here is crazy. Boat was fairly comfortable and the guide was welcoming, friendly and informative. Views along the coastline are incredible, particularly as you come into Positano, that’s the money shot! Amalfi was our first stop. It was fun to see it but it’s just too busy and too touristy. I appreciate the irony here as I’m a tourist, but it’s genuinely too busy! Positano was outstanding. Still busy but it feels much nicer. Such a fascinating place. Boat trip back was fine and final bus trip was a little less crazy…Written 15 October 2024
- Carol E0 contributionsGreat day boat trip!Very enjoyable boat trip. Pick up from hotel was on time. Exciting drive to the port as the roads are very narrow but the driver definitely knew what he was doing! Plenty of information given on board about the amalfi coast we were sailing through. We took an optional emerald grotto tour which was recommended by the guy on the boat which was also well worth doing.Written 15 October 2024
- O6548XYshawns0 contributionsWell organized and great views of the coastA well organized tour with great views of the Almafi coast the whole time! The operators gave insight of various areas along the way and were very punctual.Written 12 October 2024
- 897lynseyw0 contributionsLovely way to spend a day. Easy to book online to avoid the queues at the harbour too.Very well organised. Frim pick up to catching the boat. Lovely places to visit. The tour operator contacted me on WhatsApp to send me details of pick up. Friendly staff all round. I highly recommend.Written 28 September 2024
- Kelly B0 contributionsGreat day out!It was a great trip and good value for money. Took all the hassle out of trying to get to Amalfi and Positano ourselves. Communication was excellent and pick up times and locations clearly explained. Everything ran very smoothly and the time at both stops was just right. Boat slowed at appropriate places or stopped for pictures. We took the 11.15 option and it was perfect timing for sunset on the way back. The only thing I could say was it was a little difficult to hear some of the commentary on the boat but we didn’t really need it and it didn’t affect us at all. Would recommend this trip to anyone staying in the Sorrento area.Written 28 September 2024
- E5564SWandym0 contributionsReally enjoyed it!My wife and I really enjoyed this trip and would recommend it. From the pick up at the meeting point to the boat departures, everything was well organized and on time. Our tour guide was great and was spoke in Italian and English. You get 4 hours in Almalfi which is perfect to be able to get a nice lunch and you get 2 hours in Positano which we found was all you need. Andy M. September 2024Written 27 September 2024

- LisaB4420 contributionsGreat value trip to Amalfi and PositanoGreat service and very good value. We were collected by bus to port and returned same way. We had two boats 1 to Amalfi and a separate 1 to Positano. Crew were very helpful and very pleasant. It would be great if the volume could be increased as the captain spoke to us and we were outside so couldn't hear. But his staff filled in the gaps. We were offered refreshments to purchase also. A lovely day and all went to plan on time.Written 23 September 2024
- JAD5320 contributionsAmazing day out!The boat trip was a fantastic way to see the Amalfi coast. Professional guides from start to finish. The information was delivered with knowledge and humour. Shout out to our driver Rosaria who safely delivered us to and from the port with confidence, a smile and a sing song ...Memories made - thank you !Written 19 September 2024
- northerncityboy0 contributionsHighly recommend - great views and plenty of time in Amalfi and PositanoMy wife and I did the 9am sailing of this tour and can highly recommend it. The tour guide and captain did a great job showing us the islands and coast, with plenty of time in Amalfi and Positano to shop and eat. The coastline is stunning and definitely needs to be seen by boat.Written 19 September 2024

We had a great experience with this company who were recommended by our hotel, we did the shared tour to Capri with hotel transfers.
The shuttle bus was air conditioned and collected us promptly from the hotel, our driver Rosaria was lovely and gave lots of information about the local area and the tour schedule. When we arrived at the harbour we waited a little while and the tour guides Vincenzo and Giovanni showed everyone where to go.
Once in Capri you choose whether to explore the island by yourself or you can pay an additional 22E per person to have shuttles with the company to take you to Capri town and then to Anacapri and back to the boat later. We chose to take this option and felt it was good value as the guides were helpful and informative and the public buses were very crowded, plus it was super hot. We were able to go and explore by ourselves within the time and we felt the timings in each part of the trip were perfect.
The chairlift in Anacapri was a great activity and we highly recommend, finally the boat trip around the island at the end was stunning and a fabulous way to see the views from the water.
All in all, we felt it was worth the 60 Euros pp cost and we would recommend Cooperitiva San Antonio

Just Back from Sorrento on the Almafi Coast. We had the best experience with this Company who had a sales office just off the main Avenue in Sorrento. We booked for 60 euro each to go to Capri for the day. After an early pick-up of 8am we set off on a quick bus hop to Nerano, just over the headland and joined the boat to Capri, the boat had a downstairs and upper deck, it looked to be able to hold 30-40 people. We were on the upper deck which was great for the views. Our guides Giovanni and Vincenzo were very helpful from the off giving us the full run down on Capri and what to expect. There was an offer of 22 euro each for for an extra tour whilst on the Island we opted for this as it took the complete hassle out of catching the local public transport which had lengthy ques. There was no pressure to buy this as an extra, the guides took us straight to our buses once we got off the boat. Personally I would've paid 82 Euro for the experience as a one off payment, just a thought. At the in Capri village up the hill we had 45 minutes to browse about before jumping aboard the bus to Anacapri at the top, once there we had approximately 2.5hrs freetime to get the Chairlift to the top of the island "Mont Salero" optional or walk around the gardens of St Michael's Villa. We opted for the chairlift to the top 9 euro's which had stunning views of the whole island. We didn't have time to view the Gardens of St. Michael, it would've been too much as we were keen to have lunch in a nearby restaurant before our return by bus to the harbour where we had a further hour followed by our departure back to the mainland. The journey back was excellent the boat circumnavigated the island the guide Giovanni pointed out all the points of interest around the island Coastline. He also broke into song on the upper deck and sang a few old Italian favourites which singer Dean Martin had sang years ago, we were all in raptures of laughter as he referred to us as his family and darlings. Having arrived back on the Sorrentine peninsula it was a short bus ride back to our hotel in Sorrento. Amazing day out with the crew and Family of Coop S Antonio would definitely use again in a heartbeat, Thanks again. We'd definitely award 5 Stars out of 5

Everything was as expected. Shuttle picked us up near to our place in Meta (5 km from Sorrento) and drove us to Neroni harbor which took almost two hours but that's understandable since we were first in the bus and more travelers had to be picked up.
I saw some comments that ride was scary, which is true, but that is just Italian driving culture, narrow roads and quite fast drivers, however I felt safe and didn't worry too much. Boat to Capri Island took around 35 minutes and the guide offered to take shuttle busses for 25 euros per person, I totally recommend opting for it as I wouldn't know where to go in Capri island, thanks to this service we were taken to Augustus gardens near Capri main city and then to Anacapri. It is a must to take the chairlift service to the top of the island, since the view there is simply breathtaking, it's 14 euro per person. Before leaving back to the port in mainland we were taken around the island to see it from every side and it was so beautiful.
If you want to see the island in one day I would say that this is the perfect option. Overall, the tour was well organized and you get your moneys worth.

Excellent trip, really pleased I decided to go to Capri on this excursion.
The team were really good, they never stopped smiling and it was a pleasure spending the day in their entertaining and friendly company.
The bus ride from my resort in Sorrento took about 1 hr each way, however this was more comfortable than the previous trip I did earlier in my break (Amalfi etc).
On arrival we were directed on to a larger boat that had roof seating also, this meant there was much more space for everyone to spread out and it wasn’t cramped. The ride to Capri took about an hour, on route the team filled us in on what to expect. As others have said, the best thing to do is join the minibuses the company have provided. At €22 it’s excellent value and takes all the hassle out of getting round on your own. We stopped twice and looked at some gardens then final option was to visit the blue cave, but instead had lunch and took the chairlift to the top of the mountain, great views and had plenty of time to look around when I did return back on the chairlift also. Nothing was pushed on is, we were given plenty of free time, The options of the trip were very well explained and the pace was perfect, there was plenty to see and the day flew by. There are a lot of variations on trips to Capri, but I’d recommend this to anyone wanting to look around but not having to do the legwork yourself.
One thing I’d say is Capri is very steep, lots of walking, I am not sure I’d bring young kids in a pram or using a wheelchair as it would be very tough imo.

This trip was excellent and worth every cent! We were picked up from our hotel, and arrived at the marina where the boat took off to the Island of Capri. The hosts were enthusiastic and lovely, and they provided great information and fun facts throughout the trip.
On the island we also chose to pay extra for the shuttle buses, which was totally worth it. If you really want to maximise your limited time on the island, this is the way to do it. We got driven and dropped off, which gave us lots of free time to explore the island, do different activities and have a good meal. We saw the long queues for public buses and were really happy we went for the shuttle bus service.
In the afternoon, after a day on the island, the boat drove around the island to show the great nature and famous sites of Capri. Once again the hosts provided a fantastic atmosphere and a lot of fun facts and information about the island.
When we arrived at the marina again, the buses were ready to take us back to the hotel.
This was an excellent and well organised trip, and the hosts spoke multiple languages, and were fantastic and accommodating. Definitely recommend this company, and this trip if you want to have a glorious experience exploring the beautiful island of Capri.

We wanted a tour of the island both land and sea, the reviews said to book the coaches via the boat guide to see all the main points and so we did. Best move ever booking this tour ! Had to take a bus from Sorrento to a little harbour about 40mins away but this was a small price to pay for a fantastic tour. The guide on the boat helped enormously, clear and was always at each connection ( along with a few younger guys to help you jump a queue) gave you the main points of view a pick up time and left you to it ( 3 drop offs) you could not possibly see the main points without them. Went like clock work and came across as a genuine nice guy .

If you are looking for a boat trip to Capri I would highly recommend this company. You get really well looked after. The staff speak several languages and they also offer their own shuttle bus tours of the island so you don't get caught up in the crowds trying to get public transport. The biggest treat came on the return boat journey with Giovanni's entertainment. He gave the history of the island as we sailed around it as well as entertaining us with singing and joking. Don't know where he gets all his energy from but it was a great end to a great day.

We actually went with these guys to Amalfi and Positano and a few days later to Capri and AnaCapri. Vincenzo and the team make you feel very welcome and tell you lots about the locations. Definitely pay the extra 25 euros to have the VIP trip around Capri as we could never have seen as much as we did without the help of the team with buses and recommendations! They are multi lingual and explain timings etc and very clear on pick ups etc. There are toilets on board the boats and you can buy drinks. Even after the boat tour, the team are very attentive and ensure everyone gets to their buses/taxis. I would 100% recommend these boat tours for anyone hoping to make the most of their trip around Amalfi coast without the worry of driving. It was very relaxing.. 🌞 Our AirBnB host recommended. We had a great time. 👍

Amazing tour, the staff offered drinks on board and were friendly and helpful the entire time.
You had a choice of sitting downstairs under shelter or upstairs in the open, there was also opportunity to stand at the front for pictures / videos whenever you wanted.
The tour guide was incredible/funny and so friendly, spoke mainly languages and offered advice and suggestions during his talk. As well as chatting to passengers throughout as and when they needed something.
We were picked up really close to our hotel and the coach was comfortable, transfer was easy and helpful. Once we arrived at the port for the tour to start, the coach driver gave clear instructions of where we needed to wait for the tour and how to get back/what coach to find on our return later that day.
They also offered an additional which was €25 pp for a coach to take you around, so you didn’t have to rely on public transport while you were there. We opted for this option, as it meant we knew how long to spend in each place
We had about an hour and a half on the level with the gardens and sat on a nice terrace of a restaurant. They offered to walk with the group to the gardens if they wanted guidance.
Then we had two hours in Anacapri, to wander, see the views and eat pizza! There was also an option to go on the Chair Lift to the top of the island, which we did do but looked fab. It’s 13 minutes each way on the lift.
They also offered to transport people to the Blue Grottos experience, so people could go there for an extra cost.
We then spent our remaining time on the docks, we had some drinks and dipped our feet in the ocean of the beach there.
Then we got back on the boat for the Capri island tour, where the tour guide explained all of what we were viewing as we made our way around the island. We then made our way back to the shoreline.
Coach back was easy to find and comfortable, with good air con.

This is a very well organised trip from the bus pick up in Sorrento to the ferry and the buses on the island. The staff were so efficient, friendly and helpful throughout the day. Vincenzo, our guide on the boat was fantastic and his commentary was excellent. The port at Capri is literally teeming with people and is quite chaotic with everybody queueing to get to the centre on small buses and roads not designed to cater for such crowds. We opted to take the guided tour with Vincenzo and his guides, it was €25 extra per person but well worth it. The guides were amazing, they looked after us so well all day. We were given time to explore the centre and then we were taken to Anacapri which is less crowded and more enjoyable. Vincenzo advised us on things to do so we opted to take the chair lift and it was an amazing experience. We then headed back to the port and had an amazing boat trip around the island. This was the highlight of the day for me.
