Overview

Explore Madrid's culture through its tapas and wine on this guided tour, limited to a small group of 12 people for an intimate atmosphere. Exploring alongside a guide allows you to discover Spanish specialties you may never have heard of, such as chickpea stew, salted cod, and obscure local ingredients. Unlike some other tapas tours, all food samples and wine are included. Choose from a lunch or dinner departure time for added flexibility.

What to Expect

Make your way to Santa Ana Square, where you'll meet your gastronome guide and small group of fellow food lovers. Limited to just 12 people, this small-group size ensures personalized attention and an intimate atmosphere, perfect for really getting to known Madrid's nightlife and dining culture.

Set off through the streets, stopping by both well-known establishments and hole-in-the-wall places you would have never found on your own. Along the way, taste up to 10 samples of regional specialties such as roasted eggplant with honey, Iberian ham, chickpea stew, and salted cod. Sip Spanish wines while your guide gives you an overview of wine history and production in the country.

End up at a centrally located bar, parting with your guide to explore independently. Your guide is happy to provide recommendations to lead the rest of your culinary-themed exploration.

Great Tour!!

Carlos was our guide on this tour and he was fantastic! We went to four different places and the choices Carlos made for the tapas was well worth it! He explained each of the regions the wines came from and I was never disappointed with...More

A Lovely Evening

We really enjoyed this evening treat. Food and wine (and vermouth) was excellent. Lots of information and tour guide was very informative. Not too big a group as not to be involved, lovely range of people. Some couples and some single travellers.

A brilliant way to spend an evening in Madrid

A great food tour. Ended up feeling like we'd spent an evening with new friends over great food and wine. Highly recommended.

On the tour we did there were vegetarians and vegans who were well catered for. I am sure if you let them know in advance when you book the tour can arrange with the restaurants chosen to have a fish option.

It’s very easy to find the tour guide. The company tells you the name of the monument to stand by (there aren’t too many) and when you go there the guide is looking for you more than you’re looking for him! Don’t let this... More

I agree with the above responses. IF you could find the quality Tapas bars and IF you knew what to order and IF you knew what wines to match with the Tapas, you might be able to do it cheaper, but you wouldn't then learn... More
