If you enjoy an environment of creativity, laughter, and flavorful food then Paella Club is the place for you. From the moment you walk in, the venue was not only aesthetically beautiful but the energy of the teachers were upbeat, intentional, and inviting.
Highly recommend this experience if you want to feel as though you hired your own personal chef to teach you how to cook for your family.

The best cooking class. My daughter and I went, she is 19, and we had a great time. Not only do they keep it entertaining and fully engaging, they give you some history and information on where the ingredients come from and why they do what they do. The bottomless wine is definitely a plus but it was more than that with the basic gathering of strangers who all agree on good food and good times with a great host. Thanks for the great experience!

There is a reason this place has over 1000 excellent reviews and so few below that. It is incredible!
From the moment you enter the doors, until you leave, you are attentively looked after.
The cooking class is fantastic and all instructions are clear and easy to follow, the staff are patient with slower members of the class, but also have a knack for keeping things moving along at a steady pace so that hungry mouths can be fed!
The ingredients used are fresh and local and there was a decent amount of meat / seafood in each of the non vegetarian Paella.
After finishing up the class, everyone sits down to eat. This is where the staff really turn it on. Up until now, everyone in the class are strangers. Without realising it, the staff have not let a glass go empty! They have also encouraged and built an atmosphere around getting to know the people on your left and right. At the dinner table the staff seamlessly slip into the background where they prepare entrees and attend to empty wine glasses while the participants chat away without barriers.
The food was incredible, the atmosphere incredible and the wine also incredible.
You could easily spend the same amount on a meal elsewhere in the city and feel no richer for the experience, or, you could do the 8pm class and not only have delicious Paella and wine but also talk and laugh with strangers from all over the world. (Or nearly all from California on our case).
The Paella club celebrates not only food but also people.

If you have limited time in Barcelona, but you want to get the most out of your time there, The Paella Club is definitely your place. Perfect location in the heart of the city, beautiful design, lovely and friendly organizers, delicious dishes, and bottomless wine :) You don't have to worry about memorizing the steps because they will email you all the recipes. It was my best decision to book this class and I would recommend it to anybody who wishes to learn how to cook "con mucho corazón".

This is a cooking class but so much more. Creating fun with Food, Wine, and Music in one giant social space. The fun begins after you step inside, with a warm welcome and glass of Cava which never empties for 3 hours. The presentations, and team work, for the class was outstanding. Full explanations given, on every step. Than we eat what we made. But each group of two made something slightly different, so it was a huge variety of sampling the main course which was Paella. The meal was a total of 5 courses, and before the evening was over, we met and knew everyone in the class. Multiple countries, and ideas shared. The entire event was full of enthusiasm and high energy. At the end of the week, this was the best experience and will be the happiest memory in
Spain.

I booked the cooking workshop 1 day in advance. It was so much fun and I really loved it! Alex nailed it! We were with a very small group (due to covid?) so we got all the attention and information.
I also loved the interior design of the building, feels very traditional atmosphere. Alex explained everything in a lovely way and he gave a lot of tips. Plus he kept adding cava or wine in my glass when looking empty ;)
The food was delicious! I made the seafood paella and also tried the pork one. They also gave us starter and a dessert which was delicious too.
I highly recommend this cooking workshop, especially when you don’t have much time, in 2 hours you’ll make a wonderful pealla!

The experience was everything I could have hoped for. We brought our adult children and their partners for an evening full of laughter, wine, jokes, music and of course delicious food! They make every person feel special and welcome, even those who don't "cook"! As an aside, I have a shellfish allergy and they were very accommodating.

We have booked the Paella Experience for our Team event of 20 in Barcelona. (they were able to fit us in)
Our team rarely see each other since we work across Europe remotely, the experience highly exceeded our expectations. Not only that our team enjoyed the Paella competition and tasting different types of Paella later, but we were also able to get closer and built great relationships when cooking in couples.
Thank you very much to the entire crew who created amazing vibe and put their effort and energy so we could all enjoy it to the fullest! It was a great success.
The Interior was really nice and the booking process was easy and smooth.
Everyone was asking for a digital recipe and has been shared across team later.
We will remember this event for sure.
I can highly recommend it to everyone.

The Paella Club, Alex and Jon are seriously incredible!! Our cooking and mixology classes made our Barcelona trip so special and created memories that will last forever! Not only did we make delicious paella, drink amazing cava and wines, we made friends with people around the world that shared a love for cooking and drinking. We loved it so much that we went back for a mixology class with Jon the next night, which was just as amazing as night one, and we made three amazing cocktails that are specific to the region. Both Alex and Jon are so knowledgeable and have such charismatic personalities that their love and passion for what they do is contagious. We are SO grateful that we found The Paella Club! Thank you Alex and Jon for an incredible experience! We will be back!

I found the Paella Club by chance, looking for something fun to do in Barcelona. Our Paella Experience cooking class exceeded expectations! While it doesn’t look like much from the outside, the inside area was absolutely beautiful. The class was done in a way that encouraged fun, even with other couples who were strangers. The food was exceptional and there was plenty of wine. Our lead chef John and his team, Leo and Taco, were fantastic. I can’t say enough good things about the experience. It was also very reasonably price for a three hour class that included dinner and wine. Would definitely do another class here. If you are in Barcelona, do yourself a favor and take one of the classes offered at the Paella Club. You will not be disappointed!

There is free flowing cava, just keep that in mind that the imbibing adults are feeling no pain by the time you are seated for dinner. But if I were a kid and into cooking shows or cook with you I think they would have a blast. But yes definitely check with Alex and the crew for their opinion.

Hi there - we have booked this experience for next week when we arrive in Barcelona.... one thing I didn't check up on - is the class held in Spanish, or English? Or options with both?? We are from Australia and our Spanish is VERY limited... i.e. non-existent! ooops!
