- Peaches P0 contributionsWell worth the day trip. For the short period that the tour was scheduled, our guide Mark made the most of it. He had to pivot from the schedule to accomodate the special event he wasn’t made aware of that was happening in the basilica to ensure we were able to see the Black Madonna. Mark kept the bus ride interesting and shared many interesting facts about Montserrat and Barcelona. He also knew when to allow us to just enjoy the ride. 100% recommend and hope you have Mark as your guide.Written 16 March 2025

- Sarahandreaalice0 contributionsGreat value for moneyWe booked onto this tour as part of a hen weekend and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide MK was very informative and friendly as he guided us through the streets of Barcelona. Over four stops we got to try a range of different tapas and all left stuffed! The amount of food you get for your money as well as some history was well worth the money we paid and more. They were also very accommodating as one member of our group is pregnant so could not drink the alcohol or have some of the food which they catered to. Over all the trip was a great way to see the city and eat like a local and would highly recommend.Written 15 March 2025

This booking could not have worked out better. Olga Escribano was our tour guide and was amazing… even dealing with our challenges of a 10 year old, 5 month old stroller and all. We had a family of 7 with babies, grandparents and all in between. Olga was wonderful considering all of the details. I would highly recommend this trip if you have young kids as the walk from the metro to the park Guell is long and uphill. With a pick up at our door, skipping the lines at the sites, we were able to see both the park and Sagrada familia in 4hrs. This would have been impossible on our own.
On top of this, Olga provided detailed information about both sites, insights from a local’s perspective and was always engaging the 10 year old. He absolutely loved the tour and quoted information the rest of the day.
She knew all the photo spots, is a very skilled photographer and even booked us lunch by the sea after the tour.
From start to end a fabulous experience and I would highly recommend.

First, I want to thank the company because I messed up with the dates, and we showed up one month later; however, thanks to the tourist guide leader (Alberto, Albert, or Beto, as he suggested to be called), we were able to join the tour without any trouble. They honored our missed date, and we participated as everybody else in this amazing tour.
Beto is very knowledgeable and can pass the information in a fun, easy-to-understand manner.
The two landmarks are beyond description! My only regret is that I didn't see them before during my previous visits (business) to the city.
This tour is absolutely well worth the price and something that every visitor to the city should program in their itinerary.

We enjoyed the tour very much. Dan was exceptionally knowledgeable, engaging and had us all very keen listeners. Dan made sure everyone was attended to. Thoroughly enjoyable.
One suggestion if possible, is if the bus driver can carry/sell water. The heat was overwhelming for some. The cost of a small bottle of water just outside Park Guell at the bus pick up point was 2.5 euros and the lines were lengthy.

Rewriting this since apparently guidelines don’t allow comparing and contrasting which is very odd…
Pros: You get to skip the lines at 2 of the most famous places of Barcelona.
Cons:
1) Our tour guide, unlike others from THE SAME COMPANY who used positive humor and were entertaining even with large groups of mixed engagement, was apparently “done” with being a tour guide. They used negative humor and made fun of the group in the first 5 minutes. They said “You look like a group who doesn’t want to know anything. So I won’t say much.” ¿Cómo se dice when you assume you make an ass out of u and me? I was genuinely interested in learning about Park Guëll and Sagrada Familia, I showed up on time, I traveled thousands of miles, and I paid good money. What I got in return was poor at best. I get being a tour guide must be a tiring job and repetitive but get another job if you’re not interested: don’t verbally attack paying guests….
2) Our tour guide said, “If you have any questions, ask!” I asked a question and was told, “If you want an answer, you’ll have to pay for a private tour with me” before they walked away so quickly they tripped over a small child and blamed the child who was crying! To say I was shocked and disappointed is the bare minimum…
We’re all human and we all deserve forgiveness for having a bad day. But I also have one of the most challenging jobs in the world and I don’t blame my patients and their families for my own problems. It’s up to each of us to rise to the challenge. Just call out sick for the day if you need time off…

While the tour states 1 hour it was closer to 30 min. The time includes walking to the park and waiting to get in. Our tour guide Christina was good! The problem was, it’s too short-way too short. For some people on this tour the price was worth simply getting into a park that is typically sold out! Indeed, one of the first things the guide asked was who was going on the tour! After our tour was over, we overheard other tour guides giving more extensive explanations of the sites. It might have cost more. But then again you want a real tour. This is NOT it!

The Park Guell/Sagrada Familia tour was certainly a highlight of our stay in Barcelona. Vincent, our guide, was informative and knowledgeable with a wonderful sense of humor, and he knew all the best spots for photographs! Both the park and the church were truly amazing works of art and it was fascinating to learn about Gaudi and about the creativity and genius behind his works.
We only had a couple of days in Barcelona so we opted for the combined ticket. This made for quite a long day and it was extremely hot. Although we don't regret it at all, I might recommend doing each tour separately if one has the time. Either way, this is a must-do experience.

This was unfortunately one of the less enjoyable tours we took while in Spain. The grounds are interesting and lovely in a weird way. Our guide spoke English but so quickly that it was very difficult to understand everything she was saying. Worse, she almost ran through the park. We had several elderly people in our group that simply could not keep up. She scolded people wanting to take pictures several times until finally mentioning that there would be time at the end of the tour for photo ops. But since you cannot retrace all your steps (and we had run a marathon), this wasn't helpful.

Albert did a great job despite having to deal with really horrible weather. He was very informative and kindly took extra time with the older slower members of our group. He interacted with the group and kept everyone engaged, and personalized by noting various biological, architectural and historical ties to the various countries from which the group originated. It would have been nice to be able to reschedule due to weather, but suspect that is a limitation imposed by the sights we visited

We had Felipe as our guide and he was fantastic. The tour was a wonderful mix of history and local information which was wonderful and Felipe. Nearly explained what we could expect at each step of the tour he was also very kind to those of us with mobility challenges and.ensured we all enjoyed our time. I especially enjoyed the Sahara tour where he was able to give very specific information about all of the statues and their ties to the story of Jesus. I highly recommend this group and hope you are lucky enough to have him as your guide.

The tour began at the entrance to Park Guell in Barcelona that turned out to be a fairly expensive taxi ride from the central tourist area of the city. We toured the park designed by Antoni Gaudi for about 90 minutes. When we read the description of the tour, no mention was made of the fact that the park encompasses a series of hills with steep walkways, many sets of stairs and uneven poorly maintained paths. The guide was excellent, very knowledgeable and tried her best to assist my companion and me in navigating the tour. She agreed with our complaint that the tour company needs to explicitly advise people that the tour is not recommended for those who have mobility issues. The pickup location for the bus was a long steep walk. We then proceeded to tour the beautiful basilica of Sagrada Familia. The interior and exterior of the church were flat and easy to walk but the bus dropped us off several blocks from the church. Again, the guide did an excellent job pointing out the main features of the architecture and decorative aspects of Gaudi’s masterpiece. Then we were left to find our own way back to our hotels. I thought the tour was overpriced considering the only transportation provided was the bus between the park and the church.

Hola Rosalyn!
First of all, thank you so much for your words. Your feedback is super important to us, so we can keep improving day by day our tours. I am deeply sorry you feel you had to walk a lot during the first part of the tour. We do mention in the description of the tour that at the park you will have to walk uphill and go through some stairs. You probably missed it while reading the description. We will, however, review it so we can put it clearer for the people who may have any mobility difficulties
Thank you so much again for your words, and for the kind words for our tour guide

We are on a cruise and in port only for the day. How difficult will it be to get from port to meeting spot? Any recommendations for getting there?
Written 3 January 2025
When visiting these locations we used the Barcelona Hop on Hop off bus and approx 10 minutes walk from the route to Park Guell. The booked tour then drove us to Sagrada Familia which has the HoHo bus stop right outside the main entrance that will take back to the water front. Plus will get to see from the bus other main tourist spots.

Written 28 February 2024
You can buy tickets for the Sagrada Familia which include admission to the tower if you want it. Beware, there is a lift which takes you up but you have to come down a stone spiral staircase of over 300 steps. Make sure you can cope with this
