    Expensive, but beautiful
Beautiful place, it represents well Gaudi work. But! Tickets are more expensive than they should be, comparing to similar places in Europe

    Do not miss this
Superb architecture by Gaudi. We paid extra to have the gold pass to see the apartment which for 2 euros was worth every penny. Beautiful building and to top it off on the roof there is a bar for some refreshments, we had fabulous weather so was great to sit there for a while.

    Gaudi Materpiece
Casa Batlló was near our hotel and my wife wanted to visit it frequently for pictures. It seems to be busy night or day. This is definitely one of Gaudi masterpieces. This building was quite plain before Gaudi did the renovation in 1904. The ground floor has irregular oval windows and flowing sculpted stone work. There are very few straight lines, with the facade made of broken coloureful ceramic tiles. Its believed that it represents the lance of Saint George. (patron saint of Catalonia, Gaudí's home) In 2005, this building became an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

    Cool experience
Cool place. Beautiful house. Great story. And the ending visual display was out of this world. Lots of stairs so make sure you can climb! Well worth it

Beautiful and wonderful, take the tour during the day
Incredible building, make sure your audio works. Recommend doing a date time tour over a night time as you are not able to see the details of the roof at night and it takes away from the experience

Beautiful building, silly commentary with the show
This is beautiful building which we have visited before. We went to the event event A winter night expecting to learn more about the history of the building. The commentry was more for children . Quite silly and irritating.

    Pretty building
Casa Batlo is prettier than Casa Mila, so if you have to chose one Batlo is the one. We didn't go inside because of the long line

Overpriced attraction with too many tourists despite timed ticket system
Despite a timed ticket far too many people were allowed in at once to a tiny house. Most of the building was not particularly interesting but I enjoyed the rooftop bar and the beautiful Gaudi chimneys the most. The photo on the balcony thing was very expensive but I did like the photo. I do think the entry ticket should be subsidised by the city as £30 for a ticket is a bit steep!

    Not worth the money unfortunately.
Very overpriced and overrated. I went there about 20 years ago, and it was a much different and better experience. This time I was really disappointed. The room with the moving/swirling colours at the end of the trip left me disoriented and nauseous.

    A unique experience
This place gives you a very unique and insightful experience into the creative Gaudi's work. Like every Christmas, Casa Batlló offered special lighting on its façade during the Christmas and winter seasons. In addition, every 30 minutes light and music show started during 3 minutes on a visual symphony that brings the iconic Barcelona façade to life. We enjoyed the winter night show .

    Amazing experience
Amazing place you must do the audio tour to appreciate the detail. We last visited 11 years ago and hope to return again. A new bar on the top floor which would be nice without the kids!

Beautiful house made all the more interesting with the nighttime experience. We were all entranced. Crowded but they manage the people well.

A virtual tour basically, it’s under construction.
How can you pay $50 a person to take an, “immersive” aka “virtual”, tour of a house under deep construction? You arrive and they shove a tablet and headphones on you as the first hint that other than stairs to the top you’re not going to see much. So, you think I’m dealing in hyperbole? Ok, the first line of prose while listening to the tablet is, “now, close your eyes and imagine…” Wait, I’m not 5,000 miles away I’m here in person to see this. Until the construction is done this should be a $5 donation at best. And, the middle floors of the house which you cannot see are offices!

    A very unique property.
The property is well worth a visit. The layout and architecture of the house are very unique. The roof area which is accessed gives a great view over Barcelona.

I went at opening time and I'd advise this if you want to get decent photos as it is soon teeming with people. The audio guide was informative but reset itself to low volume so I struggled to hear part way through. I paid for the gold ticket to get some sort of extra access though not sure what that was as nobody checked my 'gold' status anywhere. Interesting visit but I would say very overpriced at around £40 for something you can do in an hour. Compare this to somewhere like Blenheim Palace you can spend the day at for less, or our excellent London museums - Barcelona entry fees everywhere make it a very pricey visit, especially as you will inevitably want to see Sagrada Familia too. I'd say that is better value if you need a Gaudi fix

WE really loved seeing the inside of this quirky, interesting house. The audio guide is good and it was a worthwhile visit. The entrance fee however is too much, it was over 60 euros for two (the only tickets available) and I think it was overpriced - especially as it was quite busy and so difficult to socially distance in some of the passageways and rooms.
Worth seeing but not good value.

Terrible experience. We bought Gold tickets to be able to “skip the line”. Arrived to a couple hundred people waiting outside. Areas for Blue, Silver and Gold but no one clearly organizing the queues. Absolute chaos and everyone was confused. When we tried to enquire staff outside we were told there wasn’t a gold line at the moment bc they were running behind. The people behind the Gold sign had Blue tickets and were told to wait there. We had 11:15 slot and the 10:45 had not been admitted yet (at 11:15). Once inside it wasn’t much better. We skipped the virtual/3D tablet thing, too distracting. There were so many people inside it took away from any kind of enjoyable experience. People engrossed in the tablet thing, mindlessly blocking doors/stairways. Those not on tablets, literally, herded like cattle from one area to the next. When reading reviews there are complaints about price of admission. Replies from the museum defend pricing due to expensive costs of self-management. As a lover of art and culture I can except and support that defense. However, I now understand and agree with the complaints. With the amount of people paying these admission prices the management should be at a much higher level. When paying premium museum pricing and booking a time slot, I expect to be able to experience and enjoy the museum with a reasonable amount of other people. If there had been a fire or emergency, there would’ve been a huge problem with such disorganization and so many people. We could not get out of there quick enough, total waste of money, in our opinion. Very disappointing as we were really looking forward to it.

Empty house which you walk around in which they give you a phone you can stand in each room and look at the phone to see what it was like. The phone they give you doesnt work that well it's often showing you the room back to front. Good information given. Lots of little kids around sitting on the floor bored. Very busy they let too many people in at the same time making it more time consuming to get around the house. Brought a copy one of the photos that was taken and was given a receipt told to go online so we could download our photo but once I went online they had obviously given the wrong receipt as I have someone elses photo. Very disappointed wanted to give a copy to family. Tried to contact via email and on Instagram no reply. Reading the reviews alot of people have the same opinion I wish I had maybe looked more into the reviews rather than looking at the high score this place has!

Visited in early season in a cold and wet March so not too busy in any of the rooms. We bought the standard €35 adult ticket online the day before that gave access everywhere including the roof top and the audio guide which was very useful. Such imagination and the brilliant craftsmanship in creating the interiors. The curved woodwork is incredible. Lots of uneven floors and stairs to be aware of. Probably very busy in high season so book an early time slot?

We were definitely hesitant about going inside because of the cost, but decided to do it anyway and are glad that we did. The inside does not disappoint compared to the outside. I really enjoyed the smart guide which enables you to look around the room through the device and see how it was decorated and creatively highlights some of the shapes that are based in nature.

It is expensive, but it is unlike anything else you will see. there is an audio guide as part of the ticket that does not require any thought. The headphones somehow know where you are at all times and tells you when to move on and can tell once you have moved on incase you take longer or need to stop for any reason. The guide shares a ton of information and really helps you understand what you are seeing and what to be looking for/at throughout the entire tour. The amount of detail, thought and understanding that went into the design is hard to fathom.

We absolutely loved this place. What a stunning place to visit. Having initially hesitated over the cost of the gold tickets I would have no problem in recommending you book them. The interactive tablet was incredible, hold it up to whichever room you are in and see it not only as it was but see magical creatures appear from Gaudi’s architecture. I actually found it quite emotional. You also get to see extra rooms which are well worth it. I would return to this place if and when I come back to visit Barcelona. Loved it.

It was VERY crowded so I recommend purchasing the Gold ticket which allows you to skip the long lines and gives you access to the private quarters as well as the roof and an audio guide which gives the history of the home. Well worth it but be warned that you will be walking up six flights of stairs. Definitely worth a visit. Stunning architecture and design.

Once again Gaudi turns to nature to create the Batllò house. Beautiful organic shape abound everywhere and even the light well is a thing of beauty. The audio guide is what makes this tour special as they use virtual reality so that you can see how each room would be furnished and used. Well worth it!
