- unmemfeo00Experience 4 seasons in one dayFast pace tour and you can see everything you need to see in Andorra and hot spring town in France all in one day. Our tour guide, Carlos, was knowledgeable and humorous. Most importantly Carlos was very flexible and understanding with some passengers returning late at tour destination. Highly recommended!
- 601abhinandank00Terrible Experience!!The tour doesn't say it has 25 other people in it and you know it only when you get there! many don't have a choice and tag along with tight schedules and these cheats get away with it. Viator along with the Amigo Tour people are in it and care less about your experience expect the money they get from you. Don't waste your money on them. Just buy the tickets from the official Sagrada Familia website and use the audio to tour the place. It is the best experience with less crowded people and way cheaper!!
- 308miguelinaa00Our experience was fantasticThe tour guide was very kind and helpful The tour was amazing and we meet three countries The food was delicious The shopping was good as well
- Jon P00great trip! beautiful viewsCarlos did a great job. great hint on how to enjoy the trip!! well worth it. hiking was great. could spend all day hiking.
- Meander1215382787200Good tourReally fun, great sights, Carlos was hilarious and energetic. He was really knowledgeable and made the overall tour extremely enjoyable. Also shoutout to the driver too he handled traffic like a boss
- Reneelouise9400Tour was great!Views were nice! Unfortunately it was cold and very rainy, so we missed the French town but the tour guide Carlos gave us an option to spend more time in either Andorra with better weather or try to enjoy the French town in the rain. I'm glad he gave us the option and we spent more time in Andorra because time flies quickly! The driver and guide Carlos were kind, really informative and also reacted very quickly to issues with the bus due to the weather, we had a replacement bus by the time we finished our first break and I was impressed at the efficiency of their system! There was no inconvenience to us because of their efficiency! Thanks so much for giving us a nice tour. The only thing I'd say is to offer more recommendations for lunch restaurants, we didn't take the full walking tour in Andorra because of the weather, so they may have been more offers, but I think a lot of us wanted to go shopping and so we hung around on the shopping strip, it'd be great to get more affordable recommendations around there. Both buses we had were also super comfortable, clean and cosy, and the driver and guide checked in on us regularly to let us know how things were going and to check the temperature of the bus! Super nice! Thanks again and wishing you all the best! 😊
- Departure6007398938700A Rainy Day in AndorraCarlos was friendly and professional, no issues really. You could either follow his walking tour in Andorra or do your own thing. Unfortunately, on the day we went it was raining for most of it, but he did his best to accommodate these conditions.
- Huma A00I had a great time! This was a great trip. I wish it wasn’t rainingAmazing! 5! Carlos is the best! He kept us entertained. Very good experience and I guess I will recommend to everyone i know
- Connector3525316532200Favorite tour and favorite guideMy tour of the Gothic Quarter was my favorite tour of our vacation. Miriana was so pleasant and interesting. She was very knowledgeable of the history of the Quarter. Miriana was by far the most informative of the tour guides I met on vacation.
- gilj2800Best part of BarcelonaVery good and detailed history of the old section of Barcelona. Very enjoyable! Our guide took very good care of the group.
- shaiaziz00Good tripThe organizing it self is good, 4 stops first is 20 min breakfast in a gas station, second 45 min, third 10 min for quick pictures, and the fourth which is Andorra two hours. Guide was so friendly and helpful but didn’t provide much information during the tour. Driver is professional. Bus is clean and comfortable. But you will get exhausted because you are spending most of your time in the bus unless you have a limited time in Spain i recommend that you spend one night in Andorra.
- elisa d00Great Tour!Great time on the tour. Got so much more out of it with an English speaking guide, David, to explain everything. The stained glad windows were amazing at sunset! Purchased the extra ticket to go up into the Passion Towers. Beautiful view.
- 552katiam00Wonderful experience!Derka, the driver was amazing. Carlos also did a great job. My family really enjoyed the trip. Thank you 😊
- simdia2018003 countriesCarlos is a great tour guide. All nature lovers and who like to have some adventure in Europe should get a service from him or his company. The bus trip was a little challenge for our kids. Because it was a long road trip with curve roads but it’s great for adults. We were in 3 countries in a day. We discovered one of the smallest country in the world. It was a nice experience. Thanks
- Laith_me00Enjoyed it to the max!The tour was amazing, as we’ve got the chance to see different attractions in different countries, with our experienced tour guide Carlos. I would surely recommend this experience!

I don't usually book guided tours but I'm so glad I booked this one! Thanks to our lovely local tour guide Gaby we learnt so much about Montserrat Monastery and things that we wouldn't have learned searching just by online. I recommend you get there with the early tour if you can because it can get crowded later on. Montserrat Monastery is a beautiful place to visit with a very interesting history and I definitely recommend waking up early one day during your holidays to visit. (And you have the rest of the day free to enjoy Barcelona)

We did this tour on our final full day in Barcelona and it was the highlight of my week here in this city. The bus journey there and back was very comfortable. Our tour guide Gabi was great, giving us lots of information and history about the journey to Montserrat and once we got there. She was super friendly and engaging as a tour guide. Montserrat itself was absolutely beautiful and breathtaking and I feel i would have been overwhelmed without a guide showing us around. Liquor tasting and admission to the audio-visual rooms were included in our fee for the tour which was good as you have to pay for these things separately if you go to see it yourself. We had plenty of time to take photographs and even managed to use the cable car (at an additional fee, but worth it!). Thank you Gabi, Alfredo and Amigo tours for making our last day in Barcelona a great one!

What a wonderful tour! It was very well-paced; although the museum should definitely be allotted more time, as there are some real gems to be seen there. Arriving early morning proved to be very advantageous and Miri was awesome, patient, knowledgeable, and endearing. …definitely a worthwhile trip. Don’t miss out!

This location is about an hour outside of Barcelona via the bus, the tour guide was informative and gave great advice on what things we should see. But gave us plenty of time to see everything. The sights alone are worth the trip there!

Peace and beauty above the mist. We visited Montserrat on a day when there was low lying cloud and mist, which added to the mystery. The cloud gradually cleared giving spectacular views of the surrounding countryside, as far as the distant Pyrenees! We could also clearly see the cable cars and funicular railway.
There is much to see, the sheer beauty of the Basilica, the monk's quarters and the Boy's School. The highlight of the visit was seeing the Black Madonna. There are also separate audiovisual presentations, a museum and for those more energetic, opportunities to walk in the mountains from the settlement. There is also a vertiginous funicular going even higher than the basilica. Our tour guide Gabi was excellent. She was welcoming, friendly, funny and highly informative. Great tour

The morning visit did not give enough time to see the madona, museum and video as they all opened at around 10 AM. They get you there around 8:30. The tour was somewhat chaotic at times. It was not all in English and seem to be in Spanish half the time. If you want to do some hiking, book a full day there.

Dear client, we are sorry that you had the feeling that there was not enough time. Is true that the Museum opens at 10h but the Virgin Throne is open since 8h am. In total we give you 3 hours in Montserrat, having the meeting to go back to Barcelona at 11:30h, what gives you 1h30m to visit the Museum. We have different options, so our clients can choose the one that fits better their expectations. We offer an option where the guided visit is not included, so it gives you three hours of free time. If you prefered to go hiking, that would have been your option. In the option that includes the guided visit, we explain the history of the place in around one hour that it is what it takes to do the guided tour, and then give you the rest of the time free to explore the area. We know that this is the perfect time to know well Montserrat and then have the afternoon free in Barcelona. We hope to see you soon in other of our tours

My family and I had a great experience on this tour from beginning to end. Our guide Miri was very friendly, knowledgeable and patient. We are traveling with some senior relatives and she took into account their mobility needs. The bus ride was comfortable and Miri took the time to explain some significant sites along our route. Monserrat is well worth the visit. So much to see and do. The views are incredible.

This is an excellent place to visit, if you have an extra day in Barcelona. Lot of people think that they should take organize tours to this place. But you have very good transport system to reach the place. There is a day pass that can be used in MRT, Train, and Cable car. Most of the tour companies on the street can sell this pass. When you are on your own you can spend time leisurely and explore the place at your own phase.

I want to buy the Montserrat+Museum Summer Tour 06:45 for $ 54.00 in Oct 4 and how much time we stay in the Montserrat? Some people on the review said about 2 hours and some said only 1 hour. I will like to see the Museum. What time will the tour bus return back? I know we can come back by train, Is it hard to buy the train tickets? Thank you for your help!
This option includes the transport, the guided visit, the tickets to Monastery's Museum and a licor tasting. This options operates in summer and leaves at 6:45h

Hi. I have the exact same question! I am going to be there October 18th and was thinking of taking the shuttle up but taking the train back as 1-2 hours there doesn't seem like much time. Will you let me know if you hear anything?
Thanks

Hi. The description of the early access tours states transportation leaves Barcelona at 6:45 in the morning during summer. Will the 6:45 departure time also be in effect in October? Thanks.

I have not found any information about schedules in the fall. I think it's pretty much the same unless they change it but they will let you know or the website updated. Any questions you may email the travel agency. 06:45 is a good time of departure from Barcelona to Montserrat if you are concerned about it being too early or late. Remember to be at the meeting point at least 15 - 20 minutes early (don't forget to snack a little before the trip). The Monastery and Basilica gets crowded when you are about to leave at 10:25am back to Barcelona. You will have a good time to pray and touch the Black Madonna without a long line (careful in taking up the stairs as it is a little dark). We did not opt to join the wine tasting etc so we had the Black Madonna time for ourselves and pray at the crypt and take some photos. God bless.

All the six options I see state that it doesn't include ticket access to the monastery, but the description of the tour says that it includes skip the line tickets.
Which ticket option do I need to select to access the monastery in June?

We just bought the Early Morning Access Tour without buying any separate Access Ticket to the monastery. The tour guide gave us a very good tour of the Cathedral & the Black Madonna. We walked all over the monastery, shopping, coffee etc. We did pay a few Euro to see an audio/visual presentation about the place inside the gift shop.

Yes, they explained that on the bus on the way up. You are free to get back on your own, just tell the guide when you get up there.
How long do you have at the Monastery? Is there a line to buy entrance tickets once you get to Montserrat?

Being the first ones there is soo great. No lines the ticket you buy is all arranged by the company. The light is magic. We left Barcelona at 6.30 I think had to stop for a coffee to allow sun to rise just as we parked. Did not get back on bus till 1230 1pm approx. great tour. Plenty time for Montserrat and a short walk. If you are planning the long walks around Montserrat you will have to get your own way home. Recommended.

It was after 1PM. BTW, you will not be able to see the Boys Choir perform, but will have ample time to look around and explore. The best reason to go early is to see and touch the Madonna's orb before the crowds arrive.
