  • Time-saving 3-country tour from Barcelona to France and Andorra
  • Wander the medieval streets of Ax-Les-Thermes
  • Drive through the Pyrenees to the country of Andorra
  • Experience the healing waters from one of the many spas
  • Convenient pickup and drop-off in central Barcelona
What to expect
  • Meet a guide in central Barcelona, then travel to the Spanish village of Baga, where you have views of the rocky peaks in Cadi-Moixero National Park. Tour the village’s square and medieval church. Then, head deeper into the countryside toward the French border. Next, stop at the ancient spa town of Ax-Les-Thermes. Discover some natural fountains, soak your feet in the healing waters, and enjoy the free time to browse local artisan shops and explore this traditional French village. Meet your guide back at the bus, climb aboard, and travel to Andorra. Travel through the scenic Pyrenees Alps on route to Andorra la Vella. Along the route, cross the Pas de la Casa, a high mountain pass with some ample photo opportunities. Descend into Andorra, stopping off at a mountain valley to explore tiny stone huts that dot the mountainside and an ancient Roman church stands. From here you head down the valleys into Andorra de la Vella. This will be your last stop of the day, but you have enough time to do a little bit of duty-free shopping and grab a quick bargain. Begin the return to Barcelona in the late afternoon, pausing for a drink in Coll de Nargo along the way and finishing the day at a central location in Barcelona.

Awesome getaway from Barcelona.
My wife and I had a wonderful time. Arnold our trip guide was very friendly and very knowledgeable. He explained a lot of the Catalunya history and culture. I strongly recommend this trip to anyone looking for a day voyage away from Barcelona.

Must try it!
Our tour guide,Arnold, was absolutely amazing!! He made the experience 10x times better. Every step of the way he told us about the history in each place. It was a lot of driving but it was definitely worth seeing all the beautiful parts of Spain, Andorra, and France. It’s a trip my boyfriend and I will never forget!

Not for me—but for shoppers it’s a haven
First let me say that Arnau was a great tour guide. He was very informative and great to engage with.
The reason for 3 stars was that my expectations and reality was totally different.
First we went to Baga to grab some food. We didn’t do really any exploring, just food/drink if you want it and then a quick walk around town and then back on the bus. The town was cute but nothing blew my mind away.
Next was Ax le Themes. Again, a typical small town but nothing that was amazing. I dipped my feet into the outdoor hot spring, which was the highlight of this town. We had one hour to explore/get lunch, but it was too early to get lunch (we got there at 11am to leave at 12pm). So you just walk around in a circle endlessly, as there was really nothing to look at.
Then we went to Andorra. The pull over bus stops were great and the highlight of the whole trip. Yes, the 2 quick pullover stops to look at the beautiful scenery was the highlight. Once you got to Andorra, you again had an hour, but all Andorra is, is a shopping haven. If you wanna shop for name brand clothes and luxury items then this is the place for you. But I’m not a shopper, so again o walked around aimlessly for an hour. We were told we can get food there but every restaurant had lines out the door so 1hr was not enough time to get food. Luckily I brought a sandwich on this trip so I was able to eat.
Again Arnau was great but don’t be fooled by the pics. The pics represented are mostly the bus pull over stops. If you want to shop for name brand stuff then I highly recommend this, otherwise it’s not worth it.

Hello, Thank you fo taking the time to send us this review. It looks like the day was not what you hoped for, and to be honest it doesn't sound like you got the best out of it. I will look closely at this tour again and see how we can improve the time at each stops, and to make sure that you get plenty of time for lunch. It is one of our most popular tours, and there is a massive amount to fit in to one day.To see three countries all in a single day is quite a feat, and we will continue to see how we can make the day even better. Best regards, Robert

Beautiful Scenery
Mar 2020
I did the three countries in one day tour with Explore Catalunya. I met for the tour at their office which is only a 5-minute walk from Catalunya square. There were 11 people on the tour the day I went. Enrique was the guide to this day. He was very personable, friendly, and informative. This tour is a long 12-hour day with about 3 hours visiting places and 9 hours driving. The tour consisted of a coffee/pastry stop and a short tour of Baga for about 45 minutes, an hour stop in Ax-les-Thermes around lunchtime, and about a little over an hour in Andorra la Vella. There was also a photo stop and a restroom break. Even though there was a lot of driving, the scenery was beautiful, and I enjoyed just relaxing and looking out the window. It is great for someone who wants to get a quick view and check Andorra off the list. I would travel with Explore Catalunya again.

3 country 8n a day

Even though lots of sitting on the bus, is worthwhile to go on this trip. We stop by small medieval village, it’s absolutely beautiful. We had about 45 mins to walk around to explore, move on to the Pyrenees mountain. We rode to the top of mountain, stunning views plus was snowing. Last but not least, the small country Andorra!
If you like skiing, it has lots of skiing resorts, I bet is good place to ski. Overall love this tour, tour guide Enrique was great!

Lots of fun!
Feb 2020
Very nice three countries in one day tour. Martha was a good tour guide, although sometimes her sense of humor was so deadpan, we thought she was serious when she was actually joking. I had a lot of fun on the trip, but there were a few things to be aware of. The bus seats are narrow, you cannot sit two large people together, luckily my travel companion was able to sit in his own double seat as was I, but if the bus is crowded you won't be able to do that. When arriving in France, we got there long before most of the restaurants opened for lunch at noon and we only had approximately an hour to eat, luckily there was one restaurant that opened at 11:30 so we could go there, but it was so crowded we were late to the bus anyway. We didn't have time to buy souvenirs in France. Also buying at the bakery and drinking coffee in the cafe was crowded and rushed. More time there would have been much appreciated.

Three Countries One Day - Excellent
Feb 2020
Miguel was an amazing tour guide! He told facts along the ride and made sure we got to see everything along the way. Tony was our amazing bus driver as well. The tour is all day so be prepared to sit, but when you visit these three countries, it is well worth it. Highly recommend the tour if you have the time.

Three countries in 1 day...

Worth a visit for these countries in 1 day. Very informative as shared by our tour guide Camilo. He got the knowledge telling us along the way the history of the places we visited. A bit funny with enough sense of humor. I will definitely recommend this tour, if you like history, to all my colleagues who are planning to visit Europe this summer. Worth the money and time.

Incredible Day trip to 3 countries with Gloria & Pedro
Feb 2020 • Family
This trip was amazing, we are a family of 5 and wanted a stress free trip we could all enjoy! Our oldest daughter forgot her passport at the hotel and was about to stay behind for the day. However Gloria helped us out by getting her a taxi to get the passport, the bus picked her up on the way out of the city. This went above and beyond for our family, as we could enjoy this trip together. The places we stopped were all very beautiful and interesting. Baga was a quaint small town, we had some delicious croissants as we toured the town. Ax les Thermes was the perfect stop for lunch, a bustling small town with lots of restaurants and shops. We ate our lunch while soaking our feet in the natural thermal waters, it was a beautiful sunny afternoon. Next stop was Andorra, this is a very beautiful country that I learned so much about and hope to return to for a few days. The ski resorts & skiing looked amazing. We enjoyed walking around and visiting many of the stores. After a full day on the bus and seeing so many extraordinary sights we headed back to Barcelona. This trip was better than I had imagined, I loved all the majestic scenery from the bus as well as all the places we visited! Pedro was a fantastic driver and Gloria, was truly the best guide! She was so friendly, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She gave us so much history of the entire area we covered and was super with recommendations. She took the time to ask all the tour what we would like to do in Andorra and gave us a map to make the most of our time. She gave so many great recommendations in Barcelona as the tour was ending. It was an overall terrific tour and I would highly recommend Gloria and Pedro!
